How many out there enjoyed listening to Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5?

I enjoyed listening to Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5. I even remembered their Saturday morning cartoon they had in the early ’70’s.

You probably didn’t know about their Saturday morning cartoon they had. Just like, do you know the similarity they have with the Osmonds. There was even a similarity between Michael Jackson and Donny Osmond. Just like there was similarity between Janet Jackson and Marie Osmonds.

The Osmonds were Mormons; whereas Michael Jackson was a Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The Osmonds were discovered by Andy Williams and performed on his variety show; when Donny Osmond was 5 years old. Whereas Michael Jackson was 4 years old.

Donny Osmonds was more of a teen idols; while Michael Jackson became the King of Pop. Since the Osmonds was discovered first, Joe Jackson really pushed hard for his kids to be just as famous as the Osmonds.

The Osmonds singing started as part of their ministry; whereas the Jacksons was more of a competition with the Osmonds. You can say that the Osmonds were a wholesome musical family; whereas, Joe Jackson was very abusive to his kids. He pushed them very hard. That may had cause Michael and Janet Jackson some psychological problems dealing with the abuse at the hands of their father, Joe Jackson. Even Latoya Jackson admitted their was abuse.

As I said earlier, the Jackson 5 had a Saturday morning cartoon in the early ’70’s. Well, Donny and Marie Osmonds had a variety show also. There brothers also joined them on the show. Even little Jimmy Osmond.

Donny Osmonds struggled with quick rise to fame as being a teen idol and chased by young teenage girls where ever they went. There was teenage girls that would sneak into Donny’s hotel room.

Marie Osmonds struggled with her weight pretty much all her life because of the bias in Hollywood.

This isn’t about the Osmonds though. This is about Michael Jackson.

In the ’80’s, Michael Jackson went solo and quickly became the King of Pop. He was famous for the Moon dance. At the same times he too struggled with fame at an early age and the abuse he suffered at the hands of his father, Joe Jackson. He struggled with the color of his skin and pigments with it. He struggled with his sexuality. I’m not saying that he was gay.

He dated Brooke Shields, was friends with Liz Taylor, and even married Lisa Marie Presley.

The reason he married Lisa Marie Presley was to prove that he was straight. It wasn’t to get his hands on Elvis’s estate, as one would think.

He even fathered 3 kids through surrogate, because he wanted kids of his own. The problem was, he shouldn’t really had kids because of his emotional problems. His home was known as Never-never land; because of his fascination with Peter Pan. You could say, he was like a lost boy.

Even though, I enjoyed listening to Michael Jackson, I actually felt that was guilty of molesting young boys that he befriended and had over at his home. It’s not normal for a grown man to be sleeping with young boys. Just like it’s not normal for Joe Biden to be sniffing women and young girls hair. It’s just downright creepy.

Even Corey Feldman had to admit that Michael Jackson had molested him when he was a young boy. Look at Macaulay Culkin and Emmanual Lewis, who knows they may had been molested by Michael Jackson.

Even before child molestation charges were brought up on Michael Jackson, I came out and said that I felt that he was guilty of molesting those boys. I mean, kids wouldn’t lie about stuff like that; especially boys. It’s just too shameful to talk about. Yet at the same time, the parents of those young boys were just as guilty. I mean, what were they thinking leaving their sons alone with Michael? Also, the lawsuits they had against Michael was more of exploiting their sons to cash in on some of Michael’s money. That is abuse too!

Even though, Michael Jackson was found not guilty of those charges brought against him; the big thing was because it was in California he got away with it. If it was in North Dakota, he would had been found guilty. Or if he didn’t have money and fame on his side.

He never really recovered from those charges; as hard as he tried, he wasn’t able to make a comeback. He died young, like in his early 50’s; much like Elvis died of a heart attack at the age of 42. Michael Jackson also had a heart attack. He had been dead for almost 13 years. He died the same day as Farrah Faucet.

Another similarity between his death and Elvis was that prescribe drugs were found in their system. The doctor who prescribe heart medications to Elvis and other drugs as well was found guilty of malpractice. Just like Michael Jackson’s doctor was just as guilty in Killing him.

Even though I felt that Michael Jackson was guilty of molesting those boys, I did weep when I heard he had passed away. It was a day when music died, much the same way when Elvis died. I felt bad for Michael Jackson’s kids, losing their father at their young age. I just hope they weren’t molested by him; especially the boys.

Have you ever been in love? Would you know it if you were?

If you’re anything like me, you probably didn’t recognized the feelings of being in love. The love of your life may had passed you by and you didn’t noticed it. You missed the opportunity with your soul mate.

There have been my share of women in my life. I just never was able to get over the hump and get married. I may not know what love is but I know what love ain’t. I just wasn’t able to recognize the feelings of being in love with someone.

You don’t want to go to fast with a woman, you may scare her away. Yet at the same time, if you go to slow, you might lose out altogether. What is too fast or too slow?

Have you ever had your face slapped or kick in your balls by a woman?

When I was in Junior High, there was a girl named, Janet; that I had a crushed on back in the sixth grade. The next year, few of my classmates knew about that crush, so they encouraged me at act on that feeling. They held her down outside the school as I was on top of her, kissing her. That was when I had my face slapped by her afterward.

Now days it would be considered sexual harassment. Back then, it was a part of growing up for teenage boys, learning the facts of life.

So I can empathy with Brett Kavanaugh, when he was accused of sexual harassment when being considered for the Supreme Court. It was a different time back then.

Have you ever went through peer pressure as an young man? Have you ever been pressured by other guys to act on or say something?

When I was going to NDSU, there was a young woman named, Susan. I was a freshman in college and she was a little older. She was a member of the NDSU Goldstar Band. I would say that we were friends. We would eat supper together in the college dining room for our dorms located near it. One time we went roller skating at Skateland. While we were roller skating, we were holding hands skating around the rink. I’m not a good roller skater.

It was after that so-called date or friends just hanging out, whatever you want to call it. Some of the college boys in my dorm, I was staying in, commented that we were an item and I should make my move. They peer pressured me. Since I was peer pressured, I asked her to see how far our relationship was going. I didn’t follow my heart because I didn’t recognized the feeling of love. It may had put a damper on our friendship. Maybe, if I didn’t fall for peer pressure and let the relationship flow naturally, it could had been differently. What do you think?

Was there someone that you just enjoyed listening to the sound of their voice on the phone when you talk?

My mother told me that she loved listening to my step-dad’s voice on the phone while they were dating.

In a way, I went through a similar situation. Before I met a woman named, Holly, we talked on the phone quite a bit. I loved talking to her on the phone and listening to her sweet voice. I even fantasied us being married and having kids together. I also realized that it wasn’t a healthy relationship for us. One time I dreamt that we were married and had 2 sons. She was having a nervous breakdown and the boys were not helping any. To help her, I separated the boys by taking the older one away.

When we finally had gotten together, I was able to see how that relationship would never really work. Even though, I enjoyed talking to her on the phone, the feelings for each other wasn’t there.

Just a few short years later, I received a letter with a picture of a son she finally had with someone else. Believe me, that old feeling came back to me. I wished that things would had worked out and that would had been my son. Was that natural to think like that?

Most recently, there was a young woman named Danielle; who lived a few doors down from my old apartment, a few years ago. Sure she had her set of problems and the relationship probably wouldn’t have been very healthy. She grew up near Brainerd, Minnesota. Anyway, I have been to her apartment and she was in mine. One day, as she was upset talking on my phone to someone; and when she was done, I asked, “It looks like you needs a hug.” She accepted and we hugged each. It felt so good! She helped me decorate my apartment for Christmas. Then one time I made a strawberry margarita and brought it over to her apartment.

Shortly after that, she was forced to moved out and I lost contact with her. I may had lost more than that. I lost a chance to see how that relationship would had went between us. I was attracted to her and enjoyed her company but didn’t recognized the feelings of intimate love. I was afraid to move to fast; and I lost the chance to see where that relationship would had taken me.

These are just a few examples of close-call relationships I had because I wasn’t able to distinguish that emotion of actually being in love. I know about the birds and the bees but when it comes to love that’s a different story.

When a man loves a woman, how can they really know?

Am I alone with this? Are there other guys who struggle with this?

Guys, tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, if you have a wife or girlfriend, treat her right; not just on that day but all year long.

I wish I didn’t miss the opportunity to have gotten married; but I did. I love them, everyone; I just couldn’t bring myself admit the love.

We all know that healthcare is very expensive. Most of us cannot afford to get sick and go to see a doctor; even spend times in a hospital. It cost us an arm and a leg; even with health insurance. Health insurance isn’t cheap either.

At the same time, it’s even cost more to eat healthier; to avoid ending up in the hospital. Maybe this is one of the reason we choose to eat unhealthy, because it’s cheaper. Yet in the long run, it’s must cheaper to eat healthier. We just can’t break the habit of eating unhealthy.

There are around 28 millions or 8.6% people who do not have health insurance in this country. The percentage of people with health insurance coverage is around 91.4,, Uninsured rates for children under the age of 19 in poverty rose 1.6% points to 9.3%.

I believe this one of the reason why Obama was elected President; because he had a healthcare plan that many politicians weren’t sure how to deal with. The bad part was, Obamacare was a joke; and a bad one at that. It made this crisis even worse. I mean penalizing people for not having health insurance when they file their taxes was ridiculous. It’s cheaper to pay the penalty than to pay for health insurance; which can be rather spendy.

Not only is health insurance and healthcare expensive; so is the medication needed to help us get healthy. People would go up to Canada to get their medications because it was cheaper. Yet at the same time, people from Canada would come down to the United States for healthcare treatment.

The reason behind that was under Canada’s healthcare system or social medicines; a person have a longer wait to get the proper care they need or any surgery needed. Obamacare is just another name for Social medicines.

We can go into reasons why the high costs of healthcare. One of the reasons to be a doctor, a person goes through many years of college; and that’s not cheap. Another reason is lawyers are getting rich off doctors due to malpractice suits. Doctors have to carry malpractice insurance and so does hospitals as well. Those kinds of lawyers are called ambulance chaser. Those are not the only reasons though.

I heard someone commented that the unvaccinated people should pay more in taxes to offset the high costs of healthcare. They only said that because they believe that they are terrorist for not getting the jab of poisons.

Those on the Left even feels that the unvaccinated shouldn’t get the proper healthcare treatment if they refuse the vaccine. They feel that they should just die instead.

Much like the uninsured are less likely to be admitted into the hospital unless they can show proof that they can afford the healthcare. Another form of Social Medicines.

Even with health insurance, healthcare is still rather spendy. Health insurance only cover so much. Plus, it depends how much you can afford to pay in health insurance.

Not only is health insurance spendy, so is nursing home care as well. We don’t always die right away. Sometimes, we need nursing home care to help us recover. That will eat up a lot of money and/or assets as well. It doesn’t matter who you are either.

The Pop dual Captain and Tennile of the ’70’s faced a major health expense when the Captain became very ill and needed extended care before he passed away. They ended up getting a divorce just to protect their assets from being eaten up to the expenses of his healthcare.

You may think that us kids were selfish when we suggested that our parents divorced when our mother had her stroke and needed extra healthcare; because our dad couldn’t take care of her properly; because of his age and he wasn’t very healthy himself. We only suggested it; to protect the farm. Otherwise, the government could had taken it away.

In some countries, such as Germany, China, and even Japan for examples takes better care of the elderly than we do in this country. We just put them in a home and forget about them.

Years ago, one of the reasons they had big family was in hoping that the grown kids would be able to take up the responsibility to help take care of the elderly parents in their old age and bad health.

Now days a person cannot afford to do that. We all have to make a living ourselves. We are also very busy with our own lives raising our kids and such. Sometimes a person doesn’t want to spend that much time with their elderly parents either. I mean, we love our parents but sometimes they can drive us crazy. We love seeing them; but at the same time we want and needs our space as well. Once we becomes adults, we want less interference with our parents.

What’s a person to do with the high costs of healthcare? Social Medicines is not the answers as those on the Left in our government may think.

I don’t have the answers to this problem. I don’t really think the government does as well; even though they may think they do.

The only answer I have is to try to stay healthy as best as you can. Choose healthier food and lifestyles. If more people eat healthier, it could bring that cost down a little. Do your research on what is good for you and what is not. Try to avoid putting as much poisons into your body such as the vaccine.

This is all I can pretty much say to make sure we try to live a healthier life. Change your diet as well!! Make yourself a goal to change your diet and to eat healthier. Get yourself a good support system as well to help you with your goal of healthier living.

We can’t avoid not seeing the doctor, going to the hospital, or even a nursing home for ever; but we can try to prolong it. Stay healthy!!!

When was the last time you went through a drive- through? When was the last time you ordered fresh fruits and vegetables from a drive- through?

Not many people thinks about ordering fresh fruits and vegetables when they are going through a drive-through.

When you goes through a drive-through, the last things on your mind is eating healthy.

Much like when planning a Super Bowl Party, a person doesn’t think about eating healthy.

Do you know that eating Chili is much healthier for you than Buffalo chicken wings?

At some Super Bowl Party, beers are served as well! It’s all depend who you are watching the Super Bowl with.

Eating healthy takes a lot of practice to do so. We are prone to eat unhealthy most of our lives. Some people will say, “I want to eat what I want.” “You only live once, why not enjoy your life while you can?”

Since I found that cooking with olive oil is so much healthier and just a little is all you need to cook. Olive oil may cost more than vegetables oil but you used less; so it’s last longer.

Since I turned 50 and made the goal to eat healthier, I have so far lost around 50 pounds. I want to get down to 200 and see how much I need or want to lose. I’m not saying this is easy, by no mean. I’m not saying that I don’t cheat either.

The longer a person is at eating healthier, the less they crave the unhealthy food we normally crave. It takes practice to eat healthy.

Oprah Winfrey talks about loving eating bread. Do you know that eating bread isn’t very healthy?

I was never a real big bread eater; but since I started eating healthier, I don’t crave bread as much. I can take it or leave.

Just like eating deep fried food is unhealthy; much like processed food you get in these fast drive-through restaurant. I find I can only eat so much before I’m full.

Speaking of being full, it doesn’t take as long for me to get full. It’s almost like my stomach has been shrinking. Or is it because I’m getting older?

Drinking diet pop is way worse than drinking regular soda because of the artificial saccharine is poison for our body. Yet some thinks because it’s diet pop, it must be good for you.

If you are going to drink juice, it’s better to drink the organic natural kind. Make sure there is no GMO in the product as well.

I find that eating at Smiling Moose Deli is much better and maybe even healthier than eating at Subway.

It’s slowly coming up with healthier places to eat in Fargo, ND. Places like Natural Grocer. They sell organic food. There is also Tochi as well. You must make sure that the food is non-GMO as well. That the vegetables aren’t sprayed with chemicals such as Round Up.

There is even a new health food restaurant called Crisp and Clean that recently opened up.

So you see the health-food industry is catching on but still a long way away. The supply and demand is rather low.

So if you are planning on a Super Bowl party and want to eat healthy, think about the menu. I know that a person doesn’t want to think about eating healthy while watching the Super Bowl. They want the unhealthiest snack they can eat. Even the commercial for the Super Bowl advertise the unhealthiest food and drinks.

Like I said, chili is alright to eat but not Buffalo wings. Pizza isn’t really as healthy as you think because of the dough. You can eat raw vegetables but stay away from the ranch dressing. (You probably calling me a party pooper for saying that) Believe me, who doesn’t love ranch dressing with their vegetables? People gorge themselves on chips at these Super Bowl party; but they are a no-no, unless you find the kinds that are healthier to eat. People even have to have nacho cheese sauce with their Doritos. A big no-no! Then of course there are desserts such as cookies and bars. Anything with sugar or artificial sweetener is extremely bad for you. Look for recipes for desserts without using sugar. Honey is better to use.

As you know the biggest night of television, the Super Bowl is fast approaching. It is the final football game of the season to see who is the greatest that year. A chance that all the NFL football teams work for all year long. The Super Bowl also draws the biggest viewing audience ever; even more than the Oscars. Even those who is not a sport’s fanatic watch the Super Bowl. It’s much watch TV. They don’t just watch it for the game but also the commercials and halftime show as well. All networks fight to air the Super Bowl as well for the ratings.

The last time the Detroit Lions had won the Super Bowl was in 1957. They also had won 3 other Super Bowl, 1935, 1952, and 1953. Then they haven’t won anymore Super Bowl or even made it to the playoffs and championship ever since. Actually, it wasn’t really considered the Super Bowl.

The first Super Bowl was January 15, 1967. The Green Bay Packers had won the very first Super Bowl.

I may be hard on the Minnesota Vikings by saying they always choke in the playoffs. They even choke 4 times that they had been to the Super Bowl. I also know, being from North Dakota and Minnesota, I should route for the Vikings; but how can a person keep cheering them on, when they keep choking. It’s very frustrating! So I choose the Green Bay Packers instead.

There is one team that is even worse than the Vikings and they are, the Detroit Lions.

If you know anything about lions, they are known as the king of the jungle. They are courageous and brave. So it doesn’t fit the Detroit Lions; anymore than the Vikings fit the Minnesota Vikings. I mean, Vikings are fierce warriors from Norway who came to America before the Pilgrims and the Spanish. Such Vikings is Leif Erikson for one.

One of the big game the Detroit Lions play is on Thanksgiving Day. It’s popular game; but not because of the Lions. People come to expect the Lions to lose; much like the Vikings is expected to choke. It’s just that the Vikings have more fans than the Lions.

Whoever plays against the Lions on that game and lose; it seems not to really count against them.

What gets me so frustrated is how can the Vikings lose to the Lions? It doesn’t make any sense! As Spock would say, “It’s illogical!”

In my division for the NFL, the Lions is not much of a rival for the other 3 teams. There is a big rivalries between Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. As well as a rivalry between the Vikings and Packers as well. If you are Packers fan up here in North Dakota and Minnesota, you better watch your back around the Vikings fans. They don’t want to hear about it. It’s even worst down in the Twin Cities.

I did a big no-no when I was with some people from Minneapolis going through Wisconsin. I said how beautiful Wisconsin was. You see they were loyal Vikings fans; and how dare I even think how beautiful Wisconsin is.

The rivalry is as bad as the rivalry between NDSU Bison and UND Hawks; formerly known as the Sioux. Whenever they played each other, it gets very offensive. There is name calling and such. Bison fans will shout out, “Sioux sucks!!”

I’m sure it get that nasty between the Vikings and the Packers as well.

The Lions come to accept the fact that they aren’t the best team right now. But the Vikings fans are still very loyal to their team no matter if they keeps choking. When the Vikings do choke and lose yet another playoff, they don’t take responsibility for it. Instead, they blame whoever for their loss. They blame the referee for their bad calls. They blame the coach; and if they lose too many times, they fire the coach.

The year the Eagles beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl that was held at the Vikings stadium; the Vikings could had home field advantage and made history as well during the Super Bowl. Part of me would had loved to see that happened. But they choke and instead of taking responsibility for it, they blamed the Eagles for their bad sportsmanship. If anything, the Vikings were just as guilty. They were bunch of sore losers and wouldn’t admit their it was their fault.

Maybe when the Vikings actually do win a Super Bowl, I will eat my words. I will do a blog on that. You know when that happen, hell will freeze over. Or a President will become President and does what he says he will do. We’re all be eating that rainbow stew and drinking that free bubble up.

It will probably the same with the Detroit Lions as well. I have more confident with the Vikings making it and possibly win a Super Bowl before the Lions though. So Vikings are you going to keep letting down your fans and let the Lions beat you to possibly win a Super Bowl?

If you listen to those on the left from our Leftist mainstream news media to Biden and his fellow Leftist Democrats; they will tell you that America is a racist country. They will call anyone who voted and supported Trump are white supremacy.

Some even call the unvaccinated terrorist because they refuse to get the poisons.

This past week, Biden made a speech that called anyone who disagree with him as being terrorist. Biden wanted to unified this country; but instead he had created even more of a division than Trump ever did. According to Biden, if you are a Conservative and an American Patriot, we are considered to be terrorist against the government. We are on the most wanted list because of our Conservativism views.

This blog isn’t really about this though. It’s about the fact there are some good people in the world. We’re not all racist and evil as Biden and those on the Left will have you to believe.

There is a song out by Country singer, Luke Bryan called, “People are good.” I don’t really care for that song. Maybe because of seeing more and more crazy people, it makes it hard to imagine there are good people.

Anyway, that song is perfect not only for this blog; but also for Luke Bryan. He is one of the nicest country singer out there. When he became the judge for the new American Idol on ABC, he was just a bad fit because he is just way too nice; not like Simon Cowell. When Luke Bryan came to performed at the Fargo Dome, and as he was getting off the stage as we were getting on to tear it down, he gave everyone a high five. I will never forget that amazing moment. I have seen an YouTube video of Luke Bryan’s concert; in which the fans there were chanting, “Fuck U, Biden!” Since Luke Bryan is one of the nicest country singer, it was weird to see and hear people chanting that. As they were chanting, Luke Bryan just smiled and even commented, “Now, that’s not nice.” He said it in a non scolding manner though; a typical Luke Bryan.

There are some good people in the world out there. It just seems to be harder to be found today than in the past. Back when people actually knew their neighbors. I mean in the past, people would stop more for people to pick them up or lend a helping hand.

When I was a young child walking with my grandmother in North Fargo, before she passed away. We were either walking to Northport or home at the time, when she grew tired. Someone noticed us and pulled up to where we were to help us.

You probably don’t see that much now days though.

Yet, I have had 2 incidents happened to me as I was waiting for the bus by Hornbacher’s. For some reasons, they must had thought I was in need of help; because they called me over and gave me money. The second time, I was given $20. I wasn’t carrying a sign. I’m thankful for that. It showed me that there are good peoples in the world today.

I know that you are not supposed to pick up strangers because you never know what they may do. There was time when the weather was real cold and I was walking home from my bank, someone pulled over and gave me a ride home. Another time, when it was pouring rain and after I got off my bus, someone I didn’t know saw me and gave me a ride home in the rain.

So that does happened; but not as much as years ago.

Tomorrow we remembered Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. To be honest from his, “I had a Dream!” speech, he wouldn’t approve of the Black Lives Matter Movement or those on the Left way of thinking. He believed all was created equal and preached that while he was alive in his famous marches in the South.

There are some good Democrats out there who doesn’t agree with the Progressive Left. I had talked to a Democrat where I work and he wasn’t in favor of Joe Biden and those on the Left. Senator Joe Manchin, I would say is one of the few good Democrats. He voted against Biden’s big spending bill. Because he voted against it, he was verbally attacked for it by his fellow Democrats on the Left. It goes to show, if you don’t agree with them, they will attack you. They will eat their own and spit them out.

Think about it: if President Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy was alive today, they would not be accepted by today’s Democrats. They were considered to be too Conservative for their beliefs. They were Patriots and Nationalist.

Just like there are some good Democrats out there, there are bad Republicans out there also. They are the Rino’s Republicans. Here are just a few: Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney. They need to go. And of course, there is North Dakota Senator John Hoeven. I’m not a big fan of him. He did nothing when he was Governor and still do nothing as Senator. When he voted, he voted right along with his buddy, Mitch McConnell. He’s only in it for the power. Much like his wife, Mikey; who seems to not remembered her own name. I mean, she asked the staff at Apple Creek Country Club in Bismark, ND, if they knew who she was, by saying, “You know who I am?”

So you see, we’re not all racist, Biden! We are not terrorist because we don’t agree with you. We are proud American Patriot who will stand up for America against anyone, including you, who are out to destroy America. We’re not all bad people like you think we are. There are some good people out there. When everything was lock down, the good people would go to people’s houses see what they can do to help. There is no I in beer, we are a team, we are American Patriots.

Sometimes a person has to choose the lesser of 2 evils in life. It’s a matter of shopping around.

Let us go back to the election of 1992 between the first George Bush, Bill Clinton, and Ross Perot. Bill Clinton was the lesser of 3 evils in that election; that is why he was elected President. The American peoples were concerned about George Bush’s age and his Vice-President, Dan Quale.

Dan Quale had a low approval rating too. It didn’t help when he went after single mothers and the likes of Murphey Brown. Also, he was criticized for misspelling potatoes. There was this joke going around back then that states, “The CIA had orders to shoot Quale on the spot if anything happen to George Bush.”

Kamala Harris says that the reason for her low approval ratings has to do with the fact that she was a woman of color. Well, that’s not true, look at Dan Quale.

Also Ross Perot was an independent candidate running for President. He was ahead of his times, and the news media ridiculed him because they had a hard time in believing him.

We all know about Bill Clinton but to the American peoples, he was the lesser of 3 evils; and that is how he was elected President.

Also in the ’90’s, in the Governor’s race in Minnesota when Jesse Ventura was elected Governor of the state. No one expected him to even get elected. He wasn’t taken seriously much like Ross Perot. He was an independent candidate as well. Everyone expected Humphrey to be elected Governor of Minnesota on his name alone. The strangest thing is, he took third place in the Governor’s race. Ventura beat Norm Coleman by 1 vote.

After Dennis Walaker passed away during his term as mayor of Fargo, there was a special election between Tim Mahoney and Brad Wimmer. Both candidates weren’t as good as Walaker. Who would you vote for, the lesser of 2 evils here. I didn’t really care for either candidate but Mahoney had closer ties with Walaker than Wimmer; so I voted for him. I don’t know if I would vote for Mahoney again.

When Rick Berg challenge Heidi Heitkamp for the North Dakota’s Senate race, that was another lesser of 2 evils. I had nothing against Rick Berg personally. I knew him before he made it big. I voted for him for the North Dakota House of Representative; but couldn’t vote for him for Senate. I felt that he should had stayed in the House a little longer, but the power went to his head. I also couldn’t vote for Heitkamp at that time because I wasn’t sure how she would vote. Would she vote straight party line or vote for the people. So in that election, I wrote in my own name instead of voting for either of them.

Sometimes when it comes to voting, you have to wear a nose plug because both candidates stink. After voting, you will need a shower because you feel so dirty.

Sometimes, you don’t feel like voting because you don’t care for either candidates. I felt that way in 2004, I didn’t much care for George W. Bush or John Kerry. If the Established Republicans had their way in 2016, and nominated Jeb Bush instead of Trump, I’m afraid to say that Hillary Clinton would had won for sure. She would had been the lesser of 2 evil in that election. The American peoples had enough of the Bushes. I wouldn’t had voted.

Enough about politics though. Let us get into making life choices now.

I remembered back in the ’80’s, I was hired both at the Vikings Room in the Holiday Mall in Moorhead and Randy’s Diner in Fargo at the same time. Randy’s Diner paid more per hour than Vikings Room. Some people would pick Randy’s Diner because of that. Now just because a job paid more per hour, doesn’t mean that you will get paid more. The Vikings Room guaranteed more hours than Randy’s. So I took the Vikings Room over Randy’s.

A year before Kmart closed, I had the opportunity to jump a sinking ship before they closed. Plus I was paid much more. If I had the time to weigh everything out and was able to count the cost, it might be a different story. I just knew I had to get out of Kmart before the inevitable.

I do know this though. If the opportunity comes up for me to go full time at the Fargo Dome, I would take it in a New York minute. Even though, it would be less money; but the cost will outweigh it. There would be less expenses and less stress.

Some people may thinks I’m nuts though! Much like the situation between the Vikings Rooms and Randy’s Diner. You have to weigh things out and count the cost.

Sometimes, you don’t have the time to shop around. You have to make a quick decision and hope for the best. It’s like taking a leap of faith.

Another example is looking for an apartment in a hurry. I’ve been there too as well. I have to admit, once again I gotten lucky there to when I found a much better apartment.

Sometimes you have to do something that you may not like.

Have you ever bought something, and later that things you had bought went on sale or was found cheaper than what you paid for? How did that make you feel?

You probably felt like kicking yourself over it.

That’s why it’s vital that you shop around before making a final decision. Yet, there’s time that you don’t have the luxury to do so. You have to really hope for the best. Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith. Sometimes, it’s like shooting darts in life and in voting.

The year 2021 was a year full of crisis, one after the other by President Joe Biden. This blog will be my year in review of these crisis that Biden had created himself. Thus quickly making him the worst President since Jimmy Carter. Joe Biden took that title very easily in just one year. And he still have 3 more years to go before hopefully he’ll be voted it out of office. How much more damage can Biden do to America?

Let’s start with the crisis at the Border. Once Biden became President he immediately stopped the building of the wall and creating an open-door policy for immigrants to come illegally into this country. Under Trump, he had created the stay-in-Mexico policy until the paper works can be process. The wall was about half finished as well. Biden overturned the stay-in-Mexico policy and now to date the Supreme Court been issuing that he has to reinstate that policy; which Biden is constantly fighting and refusing to do so.

During this Pandemic, having an open-door policy at our Southern Border is a horrible idea. He’s not having them tested for the virus or even get the vaccine. Yet, he wants everyone else to get the vaccine and to be tested for the virus. Is that fair?

When Sen. Ted Cruz went down to the Southern Border to see the overcrowding of the detainment camp, they wouldn’t allow him to take pictures of the inhumane things going on there.

It had gotten to the point that the Governor of Texas is going behind Biden’s back to continue building the wall. He’s not alone either, other governors from other Red States are joining forces as well.

Not only that, the Biden’s administration is secretly hauling these illegal immigrants across the country during the night to drop them off and run. The Governor of Florida stated that he should transport them to Biden’s door at the White House to see how he likes it.

The next crisis Biden created was when he stopped the building of the Keystone Pipeline. When he did that, the price of fuel started going up and up.

Not only did that happened, there was not 1 but 2 cyber attack; maybe even 3. These cyber attack was done by the Russians to crippled the United States powerplants.

What did Biden do about it, he bought in to the blackmail? That’s one thing a leader must never do, cave-in to blackmail. He proved that he was weak like Jimmy Carter. They are laughing at him and his poor leadership skills and demented mind.

Inflation is at it’s highest since Jimmy Carter was President. And Biden just wants to raise it even more with this huge spending bill he called, “Build back better.” Luckily, it was shot down so far. Yet Biden and those on the Progressive Left isn’t giving up too easily. They want Biden to use his executive order to get it pass. That’s not the way the Constitution is set up for. It’s up to the House and the Senate to do what’s right for the American people.

There are a lot of jobs out there with help wanted signs but no one wants to go back to work. Biden is partly responsible for this too by giving everyone free money, raising the inflation.

Inflation could get so high that our kids and grandkids will be paying for it.

I won’t go into full details about employers can’t seem to hire help because that’s a whole different blog.

With Biden and these Democratic leaders from the blue states, they are issuing vaccine mandate to force people to get the vaccine. They want to be able to control the American people. They think that we are too stupid to think for ourselves.

With labor shortage the way it is, the vaccine mandate made it even worst. Because if you don’t get the poison, you’re fired!

They think by doing that they can control us and defeat the virus. They probably even created the virus to control us. And it will be over when they win! Something to think about here!

Yet, those coming into this country illegally isn’t being made to get the shot.

The war in Afghanistan was abruptly ended in August. Even though it may had been a good thing, the way Biden handled it wasn’t though. The way he pulled out, it made the United States looked like they were running in defeat with their head behind their legs. It made us look weak. We lost more lives because of it. Also, there are people still stuck in Afghanistan unprotected from the Taliban.

Then with the open-border policy at our Southern Borders, terrorist can come into this country to attack us and get away with it.

Parents who had grown children who was killed because of Biden’s stupidity, were very upset with him. They didn’t want him to come to their child’s funeral. They blamed him for their child’s death.

Not only are they coming into this country illegally at the Southern Border; so is the drug cartel using them to smuggle illegal drugs into this country.

Crimes rate is at it’s highest and their is nothing the police can do about it. The reason because Biden and his fellow Democrats were pushing to defund the police. They are not letting the polices do their job. The polices are even quitting the force early because they are not getting the proper respect from Biden and the Progressive Left. Our major cities are being destroyed.

Not only is a labor shortage of people getting back to work to fill the shelves; there is also a supply shortage. They cannot get the supplies they need to fill the shelves in the stores, because they are stuck out in the ocean on ships or these loading docks at the major ports are full of ships trying to get in to unload.

If people would buy American made product, we wouldn’t have the problems of getting products in from overseas.

Seth Green said about the crime rate, “we should expect that from living in the cities.”

A news correspondent on MSNBC said, “we should be grateful for this inflation and not getting our supplies in.” They think this is so good for America.

Biden is not taking responsibility for all these crisis. Instead, he is blaming Trump for the mess he created.

The fake mainstream news media is going too easy on Biden by not telling the American people the whole truth.

A President must be at the White House and available to faced the crisis. But since Biden had created these crisis, he’s doing nothing about it. He’s taking every weekend off and going back home to Delaware or Camp David. He had been spending most of the day sleeping. A normal person starts right away in the morning; not Biden. He doesn’t start his day until around 1pm, and work only about 4 hours.

Both Biden and Harris hadn’t been to the Southern Border to see the crisis he created at the border. And that’s their job!

Everything Biden and Harris are doing is grounds for impeachment. They have committed treason of the American People. They have not held up their bargain to uphold the Constitution. This is just the first year. What could the next 3 years be like if they continue doing what they are doing to America? Some say they are just puppets. Who is pulling the strings then?

Say what you want about Trump, at least he did his job as President. The economy was way better than what it is right now. Trump wasn’t a puppet like Biden is.

This is the midterm election of 2022. It’s time that the American people stand up to stop Biden and the Progressive Left from destroying America. If 2021 was bad; what will the next 3 years be if we don’t stop them?

There are people who are accident prone and can’t help it. Some people create their own mess but won’t admit it. Biden had created all the crisis of this past year.

All across America the people are chanting Fuck U, Biden! or even Here we go, Brandon! It’s all because of the horrible job Biden had done in his first year.

The author of this book says that the world is destroying families; but you be the judge. The author even said that success of such TV shows as Married with Children, Roseanne, and The Simpsons satirized the American family life, by ridiculing and mocking them for the sake of a few laughs.

If you asked me, they are just depicting true family life as being dysfunctional. There is no normal family. All family have their share of problems.

Shows like the Brady Bunch depicts fantasy of what people would like their family to be like. I have to admit, growing up I would fantasied that my family was like the Brady Bunch. As I gotten older, I realized that was the farthest from being the real thing.

If you’re family anything like mine, you probably know what I’m talking about. This title comes from a Montgomery Gentry’s Christmas song; and it depicts the true American family, whether the author like it or not.

Sometime parents don’t want to admit that their family is dysfunctional. They are in denial; much like the author of this book.

For those who are in recovery needs to let go; otherwise they can never get past the hurt. Letting go can be hard; especially if you got someone in your family who doesn’t seems to get it or living in denial.

I mean, it ain’t Christmas unless someone is crying. That’s the way a dysfunctional family is operated.

To even cope being with your family, a person needs a little liquid encouragement to get them through the holidays; not just food either. Sometimes, you just need a drink.

Sometimes, a person will used the excused of going outside for a smoke; when really they are getting a drink of alcohol also, just to cope with all the family’s drama.

It used to be that parents could turn on the television with confidence, knowing their kids would see only harmless programs promoting positive family values.

Family values is taught by the parents; but if the family is dysfunctional, sometimes the bad will outweigh the good.

It used to be that parents could let their children play all day in the neighborhood, knowing the neighbors were good, church-going people who would look out for the kids and reinforce family rules.

Now days, we don’t really know our neighbors or even sometime even want to.

Yet, at the same time child abuse isn’t always the creepy neighbors. It can be a member of your own family or someone you may trust. Once again, parents seems to have their blinders on to what is actually going on under their nose.

It used to be that public schools were safe sanctuaries of learning that fostered a love for God and country.

I won’t go into too much detailed on this because that’s whole different blog. I will say this though, parents do have the rights to know what our education system is teaching our kids.

When you think back on some of your fondest memories, what pictures come to mind?

I have some good memories of my family; but I also have memories that I wish I didn’t had. I’m sure that I’m not alone with this!

Home is suppose to be a refuge, a safe place for a child. In a dysfunctional family where there is all kinds of abuse; it doesn’t feel safe for a child. Sometimes, they don’t know who they can go to for help. Or even, they are afraid of being hurt anymore or breaking up the family. So they continue taking the pain and carrying it with them unto the adulthood; and the cycle continue.

I have been told that daughters would marry someone like their father and sons will marry someone like their mother. All because that is all they know. If you are from an abusive family, the abuse is what you know. If you are lucky enough not to be raised in an abusive family, good for you. I doubt there is a perfect family out there though. Even family that looks perfect on the outside has their share of problems. They just know how to hide it.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my family; even though there are members I would prefer not to see too much. I mean, during this Pandemic, I worried about certain member of my family. I’m not that cold and heartless. There is some members of my family, I prefer not to see too often for my own sanity and safety. Not that I don’t love them!

So if this blog is speaking to you and you have a family that drives you crazy, stress you out, or if you have painful memories that needs to be dealt with to stop the cycle. Then it’s time to seek help immediately.

Maybe there is a reason why grandma left to go back home to get her medication; which led to her being run over by a reindeer. She was just trying to get away from her crazy dysfunctional family.

This time of year we need a little good news, now more than ever. This is the time of year we send good tidings to people we know. This is the time of year, we wish people a Merry Christmas.

Those on the Left may be offended by wishing people Merry Christmas. As those are out to cancel culture wants to cancel out Christ in the word Christmas. They want to take Christ out of Christmas because they see it as offensive. Just like they want to take Christ out of our schools and take the Bible out of our schools.

Books that had been cancelled in our libraries, the Bible is one of them. To those on the Left, it’s offensive.

They don’t want you to say Merry Christmas because it’s offensive. They want you to say Happy Holiday instead.

Christmas is celebrated all over in every country around the world. It had been like that since the birth of Jesus Christ.

The Jews may had persecuted Jesus and even tried to kill baby Jesus; but they too celebrate Christmas in the form of Hanukkah this time of year.

Jesus been around longer than Santa Clause and is still around. He’s the reason we celebrate Christmas every year. Those on the Left may keep trying to cancel Christmas and Christ; but He will outlast them all. Much like when the Nazi went and burned the Bibles during World War 2. The Bible still survived and is still on the best seller list despite those on the Left wanting to cancel it.

We all need a little good news now more than ever in this crazy mix-up world we lived in.

I don’t know about you but when I do hear some good news on the local news, it tug at my heart to hear it for a change. It’s good to hear those kinds of news stories every now and then.

We can make a difference if we just go tell it on the mountain the reason we celebrate Christmas. It’s up to us. Are we going to continue spreading bad news on social media or are we going to send a little cheer to others?

I’m not saying that we should go out preach the Gospel. People doesn’t want to hear that. Some people gets turned off by that.

You can spread a little good news just by simply wishing them a Merry Christmas or have a good day.

If you are tired of all the bad news you get on television and social media, just turned it off. I’m not telling you to pick up the Bible and read it. That’s up to you! You will get good news from reading the Bible. It’s your choice to read the Bible or not. All that matters, instead watching all the bad news on television or social media, turn it off and find something else to do with your time. Your time is important to you.

Your sanity is important to you. So why get so depress when watching the news? It will only depress you. You have a choice to either be depress by watching the news 24/7 or shut it off and find something else to do with your time; for your own sanity.

You can make a difference this Christmas. It’s all up to you!

Those on the Left will not want me to wish people a Merry Christmas; but it’s alright to say Happy Holiday instead. I don’t care though! I still will wish everyone a Merry Christmas. If they are offended, that’s their problems.

Christmas is only 5 days away. I wish everyone who reads this a Merry Christmas. This is my good tidings to you. Go ahead and spread a little cheer, a little good news this Christmas! The world sure needs it now more than ever.
