When Biden took office he promised to unite this country; but all he did was divided it even more. More and more of the American people are pissed off at how he running this country into the ground. They’re fed up with the high inflation, high gas prices, high cost of the food we eat, high crime rates, and the open border allowing illegal immigrants to come in and for the cartels to not only smuggle them in; but al drugs and guns.

We have our own resources such as oil, and Biden shut down the keystone pipeline and other pipelines as well. He’d rather deal with terrorist, China, and Russia for oil and other resources. All in the name of the green deal. What a joke? He’s a laughing stock to other world leaders.

How can he unite the country when all he does and says only bashed anyone who doesn’t agree with him. I mean, in his own words: “Come on, man!” When it came to forcing people to get the vaccine, he declared, “You’re all gonna pay!” He called Trump the king of Maga country; and it only blew up in his face. He called anyone who still support Trump as being White Supremacy and terrorist. So according to Biden, I’m a domestic terrorist! Yet he’s dealing with the real terrorist? Who’s the real terrorist here?

He even called parents who stood up against the school board over critical race theory as being terrorist. He even had the galled to say that parents don’t have the rights on what being taught to their kids.

When the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs, Wade by putting it back into the state, Biden said they were being out of control. He even said that this was all Trump fault.

The last time this country was this divided was back in 1860, prior to the Civil War. Under President Lincoln and the newly formed Republicans party, and the North were in favor of freeing the slaves in the South. Those in the South and the Democrats weren’t about to give up their livelihood, by allowing the blacks go free. They were property to them and that was all that matter.

Now the Democrats would rather we forget that part of history. They are even out to rewrite that part of history. They want to tear down any statues of Abraham Lincoln and cut down his legacy; to save their own neck.

They called Trump and his supporters White Supremacy. Don’t they realize from our history that it was because of the Democrats, the KKK was founded.

To be brutally honest, it was the Republicans who fought for Civil Rights not the Democrats. The Democrats want us to be slaves to the Government under the guise of Socialism. Which is another term for Communism.

They slammed Trump for being so hateful; but in reality it’s them who is so full of hatred for anyone who voted Republicans or even Supported Trump. If you speak out against them, they call us terrorist and try to have us cancel. You are even put in Facebook jail.

If they hate the Republicans so bad, why are so many leaving their blue states for the red states. They don’t like our Conservative value but yet they want what we have.

The Republicans stands for freedom; whereas the Democrats stands for total government control. Everyone who disagree with them are terrorist.

I’m all for people wanting to move to another state for a better opportunity. This is a land of opportunity, by all means.

Just leave your Leftist Liberal way behind when you come. Learn to accept the fact that your Liberal ways are only hurtful to America. Accept the things you cannot change!

This midterm election, let us turn those blue states to red. Let us vote them out of office from the governor to the senator to congress. Let us throw those bums out! Let us take back the House and the Senate; and send Nancy Pelosi packing and heading to jail where she belongs. Let us stop Biden from destroying America like he’s doing right now. He’s unfit to be President mentally and physically.

As in 2 Chronicle 7:14, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Let us pray for this country now more than ever. Those on the Left only want to destroy America and allow China to take over. They want to take away our freedom that our forefather fought for.

By doing that, then and only then can we be united. United we stand-united we fall!! It’s time we the American people wake up and take back America from those who want to destroy it. Let us send those in Washington a message. The message, “We the people are pissed! We’re not gonna take it anymore!”

As you can tell by this shirt I’m wearing, that I love America and I hate seeing it being destroyed by those on the Left. As you know tomorrow is the 4th of July; a day we celebrate our independence from England after the Revolution War in 1776.

It seems more and more those on the Left is out to destroy America. They are allowing China to take over our country and take away our freedom.

When I talked about the Left, I’m talking about the Democrats and especially Joe (dementia dog) Biden. Since he took office, he has been hell bent in destroying America. He’s dealing with terrorist and allowing China to gain more control of our beautiful country. Doesn’t he realize that this is God’s country?

He and the Progressive Left is taking away our freedom and the values that this country was founded on by our Founding Father. As President, he is to uphold the Constitution; but all he and his fellow Democrats want to do is rewrite the Constitution and take away the freedom that was fought for.

The Constitution states, “We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity, to ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

Only the Senate has sole power for impeachment; but the House of Representative is the one doing the impeachment hearing. They tried to impeach Trump when he was in office. And they are still trying to do it while he’s not to keep him from ever running again.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting free speech. Yet, they along with Big Tech is out to censor anyone who speak out against them. (With they probably will want to censor me after these next 2 blogs.)

It’s their job to uphold the Constitution not rewrite it because they do not agree with it. If they don’t uphold it, we have the right to send them back home packing.

As bad as they are still trying to stop Trump, his popularity is still higher than Biden. Anyone, who Trump endorsed in this year primary is fairing better than those endorsed by the Rhinos Republicans and even the Democrats themselves. Go figured!

Liz Cheney, who is leading the charge against Trump after the election, is polling very low among her people in Wyoming. Her own people don’t even want her in office anymore. She’s a Rhinos Republican; who is no better than the Progressive Democrats.

As you know this year is the Midterm election; let us send them a message. The message is: “We the people are pissed!”

Since Biden took office, he been mandating things such as getting the vaccines against our will and such others mandates. He has been infringing on our freedom. This is what China want too. They don’t want us to enjoy our freedom; because their own people doesn’t have it.

Freedom is the reason people are coming to America.

When the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs. Wade by putting the power back into the states, those on the Left are crying about it. They hope to use that in their favor to remain in office after the Midterm. Well, I got news for them! That is not the biggest concern for the American people right now. We are more concerned about the economy, high crimes, open boarders; all created by the Democrats.

Since Biden took office, inflation is higher than it was when Carter was President. There is a high cost in gas, food, and such.

This midterm election, let us turned the blue states into red. Let us take back the House and the Senate. Let us get rid of Nancy Pelosi, once and for all. She is as out of touch as Biden is. Hopefully, it will not be too late to stop Biden from destroying America.

Even though it may mean Mitch McConnell will be back in charge of the Senate; and he’s another Rhino Republican and in bed the Chinese government.

Now Andrew Jackson, who was the first Democrats would not approved of today’s Democrats out destroying America and the Constitution. He was a Nationalist, who stood up for our freedom.

As you celebrate the 4th of July, remember those who fought for our freedom, and continue standing up for your freedom. The government doesn’t have the right to infringe on our freedom like they are out trying to do, destroying this country. God bless the USA!! Also, remember, we have the power, not those in Washington. They work for us; not we work for them, like they think.

Let us take a page out from the President of Ukraine, and continue fighting for our freedom.

How many of you have performed for a talent show either in school or wherever?

American Idol wasn’t the first talent show out there. Before the American Idol, there was Star Search. At least 2 stars came out of Star Search that I can remembered. They are Sawyer Brown and Rosie O’Donnell.

Stars even came out of the Mickey Mouse club, even before Brittaney Spears and Justin Timberlake. One of the big stars was Annette Funicello and Hayley Mills.

Can you name stars that came out of American Idol? I can for the first 10 years, when they were first on Fox. To be honest, since they returned to ABC, I cannot named one star that came out of American Idol. I’ll go into that reason later but now let go into when American Idol first begun.

The judges back then on American Idol were, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson. Some say that Simon was cruel; when he was bitterly honest. When you are trying out for a talent show, you have to be brutally honest. You cannot sugarcoat the truth. They need to know the truth before actually making a record and going on tour. If they stinks, nobody will buy their cd’s or go to their concert. They can’t be like grandma saying to their grandkids, “Oh you’re so good,” when they’re really not.

The 2 most popular singers who came out of American Idol are (drum rolls please!) Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. They probably sold the most and made the most money. Plus, they are both great singers too.

The second season of American Idol, Clay Akins, was a runner up became a star in his own.

The year that Fantasia won the American Idol, was also a year for Jennifer Hudson. Fantasia was the fan favorite but Jennifer Hudson went on to win an Oscar and outperformed Fantasia.

Kelly Pickler, who took 6th place on American Idol 5th season. The same season that Bucky Covington was in also. If you ask me, I’d say that Bucky was better than Kelly. I didn’t really care for kelly’s voice.

Chris Daughtry, who was on American Ido went on to performed with his band, Daughtry. Adam Lambert, who was a runner up because he had great stage performance went on to be the new lead singer for Queen, replacing Freddie Mercury, who died of AIDS.

Katherine McPhee, who was a runner up went on to become an actress as well as marry David Foster, who was quite a bit older than her.

Mandisa, who didn’t win American Idol was compared to Fantasia.

The last 2 stars that came out of American Idol that I can remembered are Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina. After them, the show was over in my book. I don’t know anyone who made it big in the new American Idol. Do you? The judges are just way too nice.

I mean, Luke Bryan, is one of the nicest country singer out there, even nicer than Blake Shelton. When I saw an YouTube video of his concert, the fans were chanting, “Fuck You, Biden!” Luke Bryan didn’t do anything to stop or encourage it; instead he just smiled in his nice ways saying, “Now that’s not nice.” So you couldn’t take him seriously.

Can you tell me any new stars that came out of the Voice? I cannot name one star. They say that Blake Shelton had the most winner, but who are they and where are they now?

Sure before the Voice, Blake Shelton was a judge to another talent show in which he discovered his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert; but that’s about it.

Simon Cowell had discovered more stars with his brute honesty. He discovered the group, One Direction and Susan Collins. Now Simon Cowell is back as a judge on America’s got Talent. I have this to say, since he became a father, fatherhood had soften him a little.

Terry Fator, a ventriloquist and impressionist was a big winner from America got Talent, discovered by Pierce Morgan.

Everyone has some kinds of talent, being singing, telling jokes, dancing, writing, or even acting. Don’t ever give up on your dreams of making it and becoming famous. There may be some who only have 15 minutes of fame; but some will have lasting fame. There are talent scouts out there looking for the next big thing. Are you one of them?

I love to sing and I even write songs. I play the guitar and the recorder. You also noticed, my talent lies in writing such as my blogs. I have written letters to the editor of the Fargo Forum and few were printed. There are people who told me that I should look at creating a blog to share my opinions with the public; since that is one of my talents. One thing, when I wrote letters to the editor, they would take things out of the letter if they don’t agree with it or like what is being said. Whereas, with my blog, I can be straightforward and not much can be done; unless certain people want to cancel me because what I may say.

Do not ever give up on your dreams! If you have talents, use it. Who knows, you may get discovered. There are talent scouts out there looking for new talents; no matter what it may be. I will be practicing my recorder once again. Stars are discovered all over from on the beach to being a waitress in a restaurant. DREAM BIG!!

Fathers and dads comes in all sizes and forms. Today we honor them all with a special tribute to the simple man who cherished the simple life. They are the everyday common man.

My family could had been better off financially, if my dad would had patented what he had built with his own 2 hands and his own thoughts behind it. He only had an 8th grade education; but he was a self-taught man.

One of the reasons he didn’t patented what he created was because of his mistrust of the government. This is where I get my mistrust of the government as well.

My dad built the house we lived in on the farm himself with his own sawmill and woods. The house outlasted him; because he made sure that it was done right and made to last. Whereas anything built today is not built to last; but rather made to buy.

Now, the person who happened to have boughten our farm in the auction has literally destroyed it piece by piece. I just recently saw the destruction of our old homeplace and it was very upsetting. The window in the living room was taken out, the siding of the house was stripped. It was a total disaster and a lack of respect. They even cut down the evergreen trees that were in front of the house, nothing was wrong with them.

My dad would not be too happy if he knew the destruction that was done our old homeplace. He would probably roll over in his grave if he’s not haunting the place.

The house wasn’t the only thing he built himself. He built the woodstove in the basement himself. He created it in the shop before putting it together down in the basement. He made his own wagons to haul things such as square haybales and other such things out of old cars or just by scratch. He created his own welding truck that he used to get out to the neighbors farmers to fix their equipment; as part of his own business. He was able to fix up old tractors, combines for our own farming. He made his own root cellar to store vegetables from our garden; such as potatoes.

There was nothing fancy about him. He was just a simple common man living and loving the simple life. He even said that when he dies just put him in the ground six feet under and cover him with dirt. He didn’t need all that fancy funeral arraignment.

He may not had been a Cadillac man but I sure hope that he enjoyed the ride from the funeral home to the church. He would probably scold us for spending too much for his funeral. Even though, he did went out of his way to buy a nice headstone for his and my mother’s grave; it was more than just a marker. He had it built and then later his name was added.

He didn’t just built things for himself, the farm or the family; he also built things for others as well. He made someone else a woodstove also. He made a railing for Rollag Church from the road up the hill heading toward the church.

He was a jack of all trade and master of none.

Few years before my mother passed away, he built her new kitchen cupboards himself from his own sawmill. He even built a railing going up the steps to the backdoor of the house.

You could say that I got my mistrust of the government from him. You can also say that I’m a simple man myself because of him. I don’t have much fancy stuff in my apartment. I’m content to live the simple life; even if I ever win the Powerball or my blog ever goes viral. I would pick the seclusion of country over the city life any day.

He would had been totally surprised at how much the farm went for at the auction and the bidding war. Both him and my mother wouldn’t like who ended up getting the farm. They would had preferred someone else in the neighbor.

He never had a credit card. Whenever he wanted something that he couldn’t build himself, he saved up for it. He was very big on savings. You could say he was a Conservative; even though he never affiliate himself with any political party. He voted for the person instead of the party.

To all the fathers and dads out there, Happy Father’s Day!! It’s alright to be a simple common man; nothing wrong with that. I have more respect for those who just cherish the simple life and simple things in life. You don’t need anything fancy to impress someone. Just be yourself!

It sure would had been nice to have been better off financially than what we were; but children from rich family are starving for love and affection from their parents. They have this entitlement issues instead. They have everything but the actual love.

I have to say there was love even though he never really expressed it. I was taught to appreciate what I have and to be content.

With all that is going on in the world today; it makes a person wondered if the end is near, as bad as things are getting.

My mother would say, “the end comes for somebody everyday.”

If you read or watch “Left Behind,” they misinterpret the book of Revelation.

Now the book a Revelation is a difficult book to read, study, or comprehend. It’s easy to misinterpret. That’s one reason why some preachers won’t preach on the book of Revelation. I’m not even going to go there.

In the movie, “Left Behind,” they talked about being raptured. I don’t know what to believe on that. If there’s such thing as being rapture, I would love to be rapture up before it getting any worse; but I don’t delve into it like certain religious sect..

As my grandmother had said, “The Lord only gives you what you can handle and nothing more.”

If you listen to the Jehovah Witness, they try to convert you over to their religion by saying that they will be the only one left in the new earth. They even prophesied that the end was going to happened in the ’70’s. As you can tell, it never happened.

Few years ago, I went to prophesy seminar about the end time. At first, I didn’t realize that it was hosted by the Seventh Day Adventist.

So a person have to be very careful about these so-called end time prophecy. They can easily deceive you; just like the devil; who is known as the great deceiver. It’s important that you have your eyes open and truly knows your Bible or you will be easily deceived.

There was a so-called cult that committed suicide because they were following Hally comet and they felt that the end were near.

One thing it does say in Revelation, there will be wars and rumors of wars until the end time. When they work to take God and Jesus out of our schools and Christmas; that is what the devil wants to do. They are looking at taking God out of the Constitution as well. Those on the Left say it’s too offensive.

Ever since they took the Bible and prayer out of our schools, there had been more and more school shootings. They blamed it on the guns and guns manufactured. In the words of the great movie character, “Shane,” gun doesn’t kill, people kill.

Even though, I have been praising the President of Ukraine for fighting for their freedom against Russia as a hero; if the people only knew the truth that the news media doesn’t report, you might think twice. I heard that the government in Ukraine was very corrupt; much like our government in the United States.

We just don’t have our eyes open to the truth. And that’s the way they like it and that’s the way the devil like it. They don’t want us to know the truth. If we knew the truth, they couldn’t control us like they want.

The devil is the father of all lies and the great deceiver. He uses certain people to do his bidding.

Our moral values are being destroyed more and more. The values that our forefather is being destroyed as well.

We need to wake up and not just the church. It’s time we wake up and see what is happening right in front of us. If we don’t wake up, it may be too late. Maybe the end is near and Jesus will return for us all. If we’re not ready, we may get left behind.

Like the 7 brides who missed out on the bridegrooms because they didn’t have enough oil in their lamps and it burnt out. Are we going to be like them?

Are we going to remain asleep or are we going to wake up?

It’s time we get back to God! It’s time to wake up and see what is going on in the world. We need to quit destroying each other and this planet.

The last days are coming! We just don’t know when. We just have to ready and alert.

I may not know much about things but I do know what I know and have my opinions; and is willing to share them. These are some of the things we ought to know.

Young ladies should know how to change the oil and tires if they own a car. They should know how to fixed things around the house inside and out. They shouldn’t be afraid to get their hands dirty. I would respect women like that; more than someone who comes across so dainty. If she’s squirmish around creepy things or afraid to get her hands dirty, I want to say, “you’re no fragile doll.” I remembered one time my mother caught a mouse in the bathroom on the farm with a plunger.

Much like young boys should be taught how to cook, clean and even sew. It doesn’t hurt them to take a home-ec class in school. It’s good to know in case you don’t get married or even happened to get a divorce. It’s even good to know; so you can help your wife out with the housework. Years ago, some may think that boys should only do guy things; while girls do girl things. If a boy did anything that was meant for girls only; they were labeled, “fag.” They would be ridiculed by their classmates, and bullied.

Girls can do anything a boy can do and vice a versa.

It doesn’t hurt for teenagers to get a job when they hit certain age. I’ll never forget when my mother told me at the age of 13, I was getting a summer job. It wasn’t the fact that my family needed the money; it was to teach us the value of money and hard work. To show us that money doesn’t grow on trees.

I don’t believe parents should buy a phone for their kids. If they wanted a phone, they should work for it; so they can make their own phone payment. It will be to teach them the value of money. If they bought the phone themselves, they may take better care of it.

Much like, if they start out early making money, it will eliminate the idea of them feeling entitled and entitlement. Young people today isn’t taught that. Parents today are only after buying their love. If they start out early working for their money, they may appreciate it more when they do inherit things from their parents.

If they are taught the value of money when they are young, they may become a Conservative when they get older. They would appreciated it more. They wouldn’t feel entitlement.

We have 2 ears and 1 mouth, so we should listen more.

It is better for a leader to make a mistake in forgiving than to make a mistake in punishing.

Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men.

If you want to make enemies, try to change something. Look at Trump and Elon Musk for example.

It is not enough to have a good mind. The main thing is to use it well.

There can be no greater accomplishment without risk.

If you don’t know the guy on the other side of the world, love him anyway because he’s just like you. He has the same dreams, same hopes and fears. It’s one world, pal. We’re all neighbors.

Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding.

When you go out in the morning, you want to know what the weather would be like. You want to know if you will need a jacket or an umbrella. So it’s the weatherman job to inform us.

Much like, it’s the news reporter to report the news to inform us. It’s their job to give us the facts. Yet the fake mainstream news media fails in doing that. They were bias when it came to Biden. They went after Trump but never once reported on Joe and Hunter Biden illegal scams. If they had truly done their job, the election of 2020 could had a whole different turnout.

Just like, we need to know the facts on the vaccine that they so desperately pushing on us. They don’t want us to know. They know if we knew the whole facts, they couldn’t force us to get the poisons.

Also the same goes with the knowing the facts on Coronavirus. We have the rights to know all the facts on it. Yet both Dr. Nazi Fauci and Bill Gates don’t want us to know about it.

These are some of the things we ought to know. If there is anything you feel that we need to know that I didn’t mentioned, I want to know. Inquiring minds need and want to know.

The war over in the Ukraine since Russia attack back in February is still going strong. The reason was as President Zelensky of Ukraine said, “The Ukrainian will never becomes slaves to Russia and Putin. You have to keep fighting for your freedom; otherwise you will lose it.”

I have to admire him for that; because he is showing himself as a true strong leader. The thing is: he wasn’t a career politician. He was a comedian and an actor. He’s shown strength as a leader; something that is truly lack in Biden.

Putin isn’t very happy that his takeover of Ukraine isn’t going as plan. Putin is like a spoiled brat who isn’t getting his way. That is very scary because he is even more dangerous now.

Before Russia attacked Ukraine, the Canadian truck drivers were protesting all the mandates set up by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Mandates such as: wearing of the masks and getting the vaccine(poison).

Now Justin Trudeau is cry baby wimp. He was hiding away out of fear. He even called them domestic terrorist. He was doing all he could to stop them from standing up for what they believed in. He would do whatever he could from freezing their bank account to ciphering their gas. It was wintertime, and they needed the gas to stay warm.

In my book, Justin Trudeau is no better than Putin. They both are evil dictator and should be taken down. I have no respect for him what-so-ever.

Even our worse president, Joe Biden is weak link who I have no respect for. He called those who stormed the Capital as being domestic terrorist. Anyone who would disagree with him are terrorist.

I got news for Biden, we are not terrorist. I love this country will stand and defend it against those who are out there to destroy the United States. I will continue speaking out against people like them. This is a free country and we have the right to stand up for our freedom.

Our forefathers fought and died so that we may be freed. We are not going to let their death be in vain. We are not going to let those on the Left take away our freedom.

Millions of men and women gave their lives so that generations to come could live as citizens of a public, united around principles founded in our Constitution. This is the purpose of the regular election of government officials, for your vote is their performance review. Voting is our responsibility to provide feedback to the elected officials. Therefore, elect men and women of principle who, as statesmen, will risk their House or Senate because they choose to care more for themselves than the American people they represent. Remember those in government worked for us; not us working for them, like they think. So it’s our Civic duty to vote!

Sometimes it can be a very difficult to go to the pull to vote. Sometimes there is no decent person to vote for. After voting, you have to take a shower afterward because you feel so dirty.

It’s even hard to trust if your votes matter; especially when you see cheating done by those in office or by Big Tech who wants to control the election results. Like what happened in the election of 2020.

Then there are people who continue electing the same person to office.

We need people in office who share our values and the values of this country. They need to share our principles as well. If they don’t, just don’t vote for them.

We haven’t had a real decent candidate running that we can feel comfortable with for a long time; at least since 2000. George W. Bush over Al Gore or John Kerry were both bad. John McCain and Mitt Romney were Rhinos Republicans. In 2016, people didn’t like Trump or Hillary Clinton; and then in 2020, people didn’t much care for Biden or Trump.

This midterm election, it’s time to throw the bums out and elect someone who share our values and principles. It’s time we show them who is the boss. It’s time to let them know that they work for us; and that they are doing a very poor job at it.

No matter what Biden may say, we are not domestic terrorist; just because we choose to speak out against their tyranny. We have the rights to stand up for our freedom.

If we don’t stand up for something, we will fall for anything. If we don’t stand up to those who want to take away our freedom; we will become like slaves in our own country. Don’t let them tell you that we have no right; because that’s a lie. Show them who’s boss!!

The President of Ukraine has my utmost respect; while Justin Trudeau and Joe Biden don’t. What about you? Who do you respect? Are you willing to stand up for what you believe in?

It always seems impossible until it’s done.

You’ll never know what you can do unless you just do it.

In Philippians 4:13, “I can everything through him who gives me strength.”

One of the kids stories is about the little engine that could. As you were trying to do something when you were a child, you were told that story to encourage you to never give up and keep on trying. You were told to keep saying, “I think I can, I think I can;” until the task was done.

Hopefully you had parents who encourage you to never give up. Keep on trying! Hopefully, you have people out there in your corner to support you and your dreams. Without their support, it’s easy to just give up the fight.

If you have people who always criticized you and doubt that you can even do it. You need to get them out of your life once and for all. If they are not willing to be in your corner, then they are not worth having around you. They will only hurt you and keep you from achieving the task at hand.

Whatever you’re thinking, think bigger. Just tell yourself you can do it. Ignore those who dare to criticize you. They are just jealous. They want to see you fail. When you fail, they win. Whatever you do, don’t let them win!

Just say to yourself, “Honey, I am the chief of my train. If critics want to hop on board, fantastic. There’s plenty of room.”

You just got to go, go, go!! It makes no difference where just so you go, go, go! Remember at the first opportunity go! You’ve got to learn your instrument. Then you practice. And when you finally get up there, forget all that and just wail.

I may not be expert or a genius but that’s not going to stop me from doing things. I will not let people tell that I cannot do it. I have opinions and I will express them. If they don’t like it or they want to criticize me; that’s their problems.

There are people out there who encouraged me to create a blog because I have sent letters to the editors and had few published.

Do you know anyone who is so critical of you and everything you do? They just wants to cut you down.

Believe me, I know people like that. I even work with people like that. They are nice to your face; but once you are not around, they are quick to criticize you and say, “I had to redo it all!” They’ll even post it on Facebook. They think they are so much better than you. In reality, they are a bully. They want to see you fail. They’ll go out of your way to hurt you.

There’s a song by Mark Wills called, “Don’t Laugh at Me,” that says it best. That song was my mother’s favorite song.

They think that they are so much better than you. As my mother would say about them, “They think their shit doesn’t stink, but their farts give them away!”

Who needs them? They do not need to be a part your of life. You do not need to have them around if they are going to constantly criticize you either verbally or go behind your back and redo things and then rub their nose just to make fun of you.

I’m not going to saying this person name; but I know you may know someone like that. You may even know that particular person.

Whatever it is you’re scared of doing, do it anyway. Prove your critics wrong!

Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, “I will try again tomorrow.” In other words, if you don’t succeed, try, try again.”

If you don’t make mistakes, you aren’t really trying.

You can become a winner only if you are willing to walk over the edge.

To dare is to lose one’s footing. Not to dare is to lose oneself. The most effective way to do it, is to do it.

Take risks. Ask the dumb questions. Fail if you have to, and then get up and do it again. As teachers would say, “There is no stupid questions.”

Just keep moving forward and don’t give a shit about what anybody may thinks. Do what you have to do, for you. Don’t let your critics cut you down because of their jealousy. Don’t let them bully you with their words and/or action.

As the ads for Nike shoes, “Just Do It!” Just tell yourself you can do it. I am somebody that my critics are jealous of. They just want to hurt you to make themselves better. Remember, you do can all things despite what some people may say or do to offend you.

I hope those who are reading this blog will be encourage to just do it. Ignore your critics!

JUST DO IT!!

Ronald Reagan became President after the 1980 election after he defeated Jimmy Carter. He was the first President to have been married twice and divorce. He was an actor from Hollywood back when good things came out of Hollywood. He was the oldest President elected; who was older than William McKinley when he was elected. Now Biden is older than what Reagan was.

Reagan didn’t comes from money as so many politicians had. One of his first job was as a lifeguard. He first married actress Jane Wyman and they had 2 kids: Maureen and Michael Reagan. Actually Michael was adopted by Ronald and Jane. Their kids were probably more Conservative much like them.

Ronald Reagan was a Democrat before becoming a Republican. He voted for FDR for President. What he said to why he switched to being a Republican was the fact that he didn’t leave the Democratic party, they left him. In other words their values didn’t match up.

I believe that both John F. and Robert Kennedy wouldn’t be accepted by today’s Democrats much to the same way. They both were too Conservative for today’s Democrats.

Since Ronald Reagan had political dreams, his wife, Jane Wyman didn’t had the same dream as he did; so they soon divorce. Then Ronald met his second wife, Nancy Davis while on a movie set. She became the love of his life, and they were married up to his death. They had 2 kids as well. There names were Ronny Jr. and Patty Davis. They were more Liberal than Maureen and Michael. I would say that they were kind of wild; much like George W. and Laura Bush daughters, Jenna and Barbara. Patty was a thorn in Nancy’s side so-to-speak, with her wild living. Whereas Ron Jr. appeared on Saturday Night Live dancing in his briefs playing a broom like a rock ‘n’ roll guitar in a takeoff from the movie “Risky Business.” So you could they were an embarrassment.

When Reagan was elected President inflation was at an all-time high because of Jimmy Carter. It never had been that high until now under Biden; which inflation is even a little higher. Plus gas prices were also high and there was long line at the gas pumps as well. Another thing that hurt Carter and helped Reagan was the fact of the Iranian hostages that was taken during Carter’s Presidency. Carter didn’t or couldn’t do anything about it when he was in office; making him weak and the worse President up until now as Biden had taken the title away from him in a short time.

Now Ronald Reagan wasn’t part of the Established Republicans, so he had difficulties within his own party; much like Donald Trump did. Reagan also had the same problems with the Democrats and the news media. They hated Reagan like they hated Trump today. The only difference, Reagan had more tact than Trump. He was able to used his sense of humor in his favor. I don’t think he would be able to do that today though.

Reagan made quite a few movies, was President of the Screen Actors Guild, and the Governor of California all before becoming President. His 2 most famous movies were “Bedtime for Bonzo” and “Knute Rockne.” Bedtime for Bonzo, the media made that one famous to ridicule him when he was President. Whereas a line from Knute Rockne was, “Win one for the Gipper!” He used that line himself whenever he wanted to get something passed Congress and the Senate.

Even though George Bush was Vice-President under Reagan, they really didn’t get along. Reagan didn’t fully trust Bush, their policies were different. Much like John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson. The only reason Reagan had Bush as his running mate was because he wanted to show unity within the Republican party.

When Reagan was President, Tip O’Neill was the Speaker of the House. Now O’Neill was a Democrat; yet they had the utmost respect for each other despite being from 2 different political party. They were friends as well. It’s unheard of today!

I remembered the day when Reagan was shot. I was in my 5th hour class when the Principle, Mr. Pederson came over the intercom to say, “Pres. Reagan was shot and school was dismissed.” When I got home, my mother was watching the news on TV and I could swear there was a tear in her eyes when she saw the news. I think it reminded her of when Kennedy was killed.

Thank goodness, Reagan survived the assassination attempt! He joking said to Nancy, “I forgot to duck!”

In 1984, the year I was able to vote for the first time, was the year I became a Republican; all because of Reagan. Reagan had the charisma to attract the young people as well. Not only was he Conservative; he was anti-government. He even said, “The Government isn’t the solution, they are the problems.”

Even though I was a young college Republican, I had a professor who was a Democrat and a state Senator. His name was Dr. Thomas Matchie. Back then we had respect for each other and he even became my advisor. Because of Dr. Matchie, I do more reading today; so that I can come up with ideas for my blog and able to give readers the facts, the whole facts.

There isn’t that kind of respect on college campuses today for anyone who happens to be a Republican. Most of the college professors are Liberals. There is a lot of hatred for anyone who is a Conservative Republican on college campuses and abroad. Look at ANTIFA for example. Yet the Leftist news media blamed Trump for the hatred. It’s not Trump fault, believe me! He just stood up to them; much like Reagan did in his days; except Reagan did it with a sense of humor.

I had a chance to see Reagan in person back in 1986 when he came to Grand Forks on the UND college campus. I’m so glad I did too.

Other world leaders respected Reagan as well. Margarette Thatcher had the utmost respect for him as a leader. He was able to keep United States out of war while building up our defense. He told Gorbachev, “Tear down that wall!”, in reference to the Berlin Wall.

His policies was known as Reaganomics; which stood for the trickle down affect. All the good policies he did came through in the ’90’s when Bill Clinton was President. Clinton tried to lay claim to the good economy; but Reagan was the one who deserved the credit for it.

In 1984, Reagan ran for reelection against Walter Mondale, who was the Vice-President under Carter. So he had 2 strikes against him. #1 was Reagan’s popularity and #2 was Carter’s unpopularity. They even tried to used Reagan’s age against him; but it only backfire when he said, “I will not use age to exploit my opponent youth and inexperienced.”

Even though Reagan started showing signs of having alzheimer, he was still more cognitive than Joe Biden; who may have dementia. You can’t tell me that Biden doesn’t have dementia; because I will not buy it. I will put Reagan’s state of mind up against Biden’s state of mind any day, and Reagan still was more stable than Biden.

Reagan was the best President we had in my lifetime up until Trump. I have to admit, even though I like Trump for what he did for America when he was President, Reagan still got him beat. I’m a Republican today because of Reagan. Yet, there are some Republicans I definitely doesn’t approve of. They are the Rhino’s Republicans. Trump brought me back to the Republican party. I wasn’t happy with George W. Bush, John McCain, and Mitt Romney; that’s why I couldn’t vote for them. I think that Reagan would agree with me. He would approve of Trump but at the same time he would laugh at his mean tweet. He would totally disapproved of all those on the Left who are pushing Socialism. He saw Socialism as Communism.

Just like John F. Kennedy was the last great Democrat President. There was never one that could light a fire to him. He wouldn’t be accepted by today’s Democrats. He would say that the Democrat party had left him as well.

What did your mother wanted you to become when you grew up?

All mothers want the best for their children. They want their children to have a better life than they had. Mothers would want their daughters to marry a rich man. They would even say not to marry someone like their father; if their father was abusive or cheated on their marriage.

They just don’t realize that daughters would marry someone like their father anyway. While sons would marry someone like their mother. It’s because the way they had grown up. They grew accustom to that type.

Daughters may go to college and return home with a guy, their mother didn’t expect. It breaks a mother’s heart when that happen.

Sometimes, a mother would give up their child; so the child can have a better life, one they cannot give them.

Now that’s better than not having the baby at all. Yet at the same time, they could end up even having a worse childhood than thought possible.

My mother always wanted to be a nurse; but she had to dropped out of school after her father was killed by a train, to help take care of her baby sister, Jo-Anne. She even had a chance to go to Germany with a guy who was in the military; but her mother wouldn’t sign, since she was not quite 18.

My mother’s dream for me was to become a lawyer for some reason. Now can you imagine me as a lawyer?

Even though mothers have big dreams for their children; why is it so hard for them to let them go when that time comes? They do all they can to hold onto their child and the memories of their childhood. They would save whatever they can that hold special memories of their child, just to hold onto them for as long as they can.

My mother kept my old cub scout shirt, high school graduation gown and even my baby blanket.

I love my mother very much. I miss her; but she was a pack rat.

Deep down she didn’t want to let us kids go because she was afraid.

My mother may wanted the best for me. She wanted me to have a life she never had; yet at the same time it was hard in letting go. She wasn’t able to become a nurse like she wanted. She wasn’t much in really dressing up; because she felt she had no real reason to get all dolled up.

Today was Mother’s Day. A day to honor your mother and her crazy dreams she have for you. It’s pipe dreams. My mother is gone now and so is her dreams not only for herself but also for me. I will treasure the memories I have of my mother. She may not had been a nurse and I’m definitely not a lawyer.

My mother did worked part time in nursing home as a cook; so that’s the closest she came in living her dream of being a nurse. I worked in a hospital myself; so I believe that my mother would be happy for me.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there!! Don’t never give up on your dreams for yourself and for your children. It may not comes true as dreamt but you never know what could happen. Keep dreaming and praying!
