And no, I don’t mean, “It’s Howdy Doody Time?
Remember, a man with one watch knows what time it is; whereas a man with two watches is never quite sure. Yet now days not many people wear watches; when they can get the time from their phone, and they’re checking every so often. Almost to the point of being distracting to the task at hand
Have you ever noticed that some of the most miserable people in the world are those who can never make a decision? When the human mind is in doubt, it is most easily swayed by the slightest of impulses. This opens the door to many, many wrong decisions. Many times indecision allows things to go from bad to worse. Indecision is deadly. The truth is that the most dangerous place to be is in the middle of the road.
One of my favorite ride at the fair was the bumper cars. Have you ever been in a bumper car that would stall until someone would hit you? That can be frustrating!
Yet in life, we get into a situation that would stall us in making decision.
Procrastination: is the voluntary delay of a task knowing that putting it off will lead to negative consequences.
Are you a procrastinator?

I have to admit, I’m a procrastinator. I put off things. Believe me, it can get you into a lot of trouble, whether you realize it or not. I remembered when I was in college. I had a class that met once a week. It was a writing class. I would put off doing the assignment for the class since the class only met once a week; so I figured I had time. Believe me, I don’t know how I passed the class with a B.
James 1:8 says, “he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.”
Now believers should be the most decisive of all people, but we’re not. An indecisive person allows instability to creep into every area of his life. If we don’t decide what is important in our own lives, we will probably end up doing only the things that are important to others. The greater the degree of wishful thinking, the greater the degree of mediocrity. Being decisive, of a dream, greatly increases our probability of success. Ir also closes the door to wrong options.
The challenge for all of us is to be dedicated dreamers, or should I say, decisive dreamers. Harry Truman once said, “Some questions cannot be answered, but they can be decided.” Most of the time, we may not have all the facts available about any given situation, but we will usually have all the facts we need to make a decision.
This past summer, I heard a message at camp in which the speaker asked, “What time is it? ” He went on to say, “the time is now to reach the lost.” We seems to be living in the end time with all that is going on in the world right now. More and more people is turning away from God. We’re losing our kids as our schools is indoctrinating them. They are telling our kids that it’s alright for them to have a sex change operation. They are even saying that they are a pronoun. That is child sexual abuse and any teachers who do that should register as a sex offender. There are people who think that men should be allowed in women’s locker room and play on women’s team. How would you feel if a man entered the women’s locker room and your daughter was in there? You wouldn’t like it would you. Now men have more of an upper body strength making them stronger than women.
The clock is a ticking. The time is now to speak up against this injustice.
Some people would say that Christians shouldn’t choose political parties or get involved in politics. Whereas, now is the time more than ever for Christians to get involved in politics. Our values are at stakes now more than ever. We must think about our children and their future. If we don’t do something, God may bring about destruction on the United States.
I think this is one of the reason that Donald Trump was elected President even more in the 2024 election. Christian parents woke up to what was being taught to their kids in our schools.
The time is now to be decisive and not sit on our ass, doing nothing. The fact is that decisive people typically prevail and rise to the top because most people are indecisive.
We cannot remain neutral on this matters and spiritual matters, or we will likely find ourselves operating against heaven. We should not be the kind of people who claim that God has told us one thing this week and the very opposite next week.
Remember, misery loves company and if the devil can control our will, he controls our destiny. Now if God controls our will, then He controls our destiny.
The choice is ours! So what time is it? The time is now to make the right decision. As for me, I have chosen to serve the Lord. I have chosen to vote Republicans because I cannot support the Democrats and their views. The Democrats views go against everything I believe in and stand for.
