This is a controversial topic that has been in the news lately. It will be over the reason for the 14th and 15th Amendments. It’s controversial because of people from other countries like China for example is coming to America to get pregnant and have the kids here. That way, their children will become natural born citizens. That way they can get their foot in the door of our government and get all the benefits.

Born in the USA is a Bruce Springsteen’s song about coming back from the Vietnam War.

Now Bruce Springsteen was known as “The Boss.” He was one of the greatest rock star of the ’80’s, back when they actually made good music and kept their political beliefs out of the song. Back when people could have different viewpoint and no one cared. People actually got along, and America was united. I’m not saying we were perfect. Some topics were left off limits.

The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was adopted on July 9, 1868, establishing birthright citizenship, equal protection under the law. This came about after the Civil War that freed slaves. It prohibits state government from making laws that limit the privileges or immunities of US citizens. It prohibits state government from taking away life, liberty, or the property without fair legal procedures. It was an equal protection to treat everyone as equal.

Seven things to know about birthright citizenship and the 14th Amendment. Number one: birthright citizenship in the United States pre-dates the 14th Amendment. Number 2: the purpose of the 14th Amendment was to reunite the country following the Civil War. Number 3: The 14th Amendment initially did not mention citizenship. Number 4: birthright citizenship for all children of immigrants was first upheld by the Supreme Court in 1898. Number 5: Native born did not include Native Americans. Number 6: There are still some exceptions. Finally, Number 7: most of the Western Hemisphere followed the U.S. example.

The 15th Amendment prohibits the federal government and the states from denying a citizen the right to vote based on race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

It was the Republicans who passed these amendments. The Democrats were against it because they didn’t want to freed the slaves in the South. Just like it was the Republicans who fought for Civil Rights for the blacks. The Democrats will try to tell you different though. They come across as the party of the blacks; even though they were behind the KKK being founded.

This came up again because of certain countries are taking advantage of these 2 amendments for their own gain. It went up the Supreme Court and they ruled in favor of the amendments. Which make sense because they were appropriately written for that time. They couldn’t foresee the future. They had no idea that other countries would try to take advantage of it.

The thing the Supreme Court recommended was for the Congress to amend those 2 amendments. They can’t seem to come together on that. Both parties are at each others throat. Not only that, even within the same party there are those fighting it as well. They can’t seem to pass the Save America Act.

The Save America Act will require voter’s ID to vote. The Democrats say it is racist and sexist. They think it would be Jim Crow point 2. They think that it’s too difficult to get an ID. Yet they wanted an ID for everyone who got the Covid vaccine. Does that make sense. The Democrats is now the party who cannot define a woman.

What this this amendment will do would prevent the Democrats from cheating in the elections by allowing illegal immigrants from voting. It will also keep the Democrats from getting votes from the dead as well.

They had voter’s ID in North Dakota as long as I was able to vote.

There was talked about that Obama should had been president because some think that he wasn’t an American citizen. It was proven otherwise though.

I think that it should be required to be a Natural Born citizen to be in the House and Senate; half of those would not be allowed to hold office. Illhan from Minnesota would be one of them to be kicked out.

Other countries don’t have this problem; because they don’t have duel citizenship like United States does. When a missionary goes to another country and give birth, their children doesn’t become citizens of that country. So why should people from other country like China be allowed to in the United States?

It’s time to passed the Save America Act! Anyone who doesn’t passed it may their name be name mentioned so that the American people can vote them out in November.

At one time the Democrats was for it; but since Trump is for it. they are against it.

There’s also a few Republicans who is against the Save America Act like John Thune from South Dakota.
