What is your principles you stand on? Where do you stand in life? What is your principle?
This blog will be based somewhat off the book, “Principles,” by Ray Dalio. We all have to have something to stand for. What do you stand up for?
Now daddy didn’t like trouble but if it came along, everyone that knew which side that he’d be on. You could always find him standing up for what he thought was right. You got to be your own man, not a puppet on a string. Never compromise what’s right and uphold your family name.
PRINCIPLES are fundamental truths that serve as the foundations for behavior that gets you what you want out of life. Without Principles we would be forced to react to all the things life throw at us individually.
Having a good set of principles is like having a good collection of recipes for success.
We all come by our principles in different ways. Sometimes we gain them through our own experience and reflections. Sometimes we accept them from others, like our parents, or we adopt holistic packages of principles, such as those of religious and legal frameworks.
You heard people, “You weren’t raised that way.” FAMILY VALUES sometimes referred to as familiar values, are traditional or cultural values that pertain to the family’s structure, function, roles, beliefs, attitudes, and ideals.
It’s like following a family tradition. FAMILY TRADITION, also called family culture, is defined as an aggregate of attitudes, ideas, and ideals, and environment; which a person inherits from their parents and ancestors. What is your family tradition, your family value? These are your principles you were raised on and made you into the person you are today.
Our schools today is trying to change the values of our kids. They are indoctrinating them from the way they were raised by their parents because it doesn’t coincide with their teachings.
When we are children, other people typically our parents and/or our teachers, guide us through our encounters with reality. As we get older, we begin to make our own choices. Hopefully, the choices we make coincide with what our parents teaches us as a core value.
Our DNA gives us our innate strengths and weaknesses.
For example: being “LIBERAL” meant being committed to moving forward in a fast and fair way; while being “CONSERVATIVE” meant being stuck in old and unfair ways-at least that’s how it seemed to the world, especially those on the Left.
My parents were never heavy into politics but they did vote in every election. They usually voted for the person as Independent; which usually meant they would vote more for the Democrat, even though they were considered to be Conservative in their thinking. If that makes any sense.
I got my Conservative values from them but became a Republicans in 1984 because of President Reagan. Since, I was a young Republicans I was loyal because I didn’t knew any better. As I got older, I was able to see that not all Republicans are good, just like not all Democrats are good. In the 2000’s election, I couldn’t bring myself to vote for George W. Bush, I voted for Elizabeth Dole instead, and I stood alone.
Just like when John McCain was running for President, I couldn’t bring myself to vote for him also. Both him and George W.Bush didn’t share my values and principles.
The Tea Party movement started under President George W. Bush’s administration because there were others like me who didn’t care for Bush. They were small at that time; but they stood their ground and look at the Republican party now.
In 2016, the Rhino Republicans, the Establishment wanted Jeb Bush; but the American people didn’t want another Bush. The Tea Party movement really took off and Donald Trump used that to his advantage, and created MAGA Republicans.
During Trump’s first term, he had a battle to faced by the Rhino’s and the Democrats. Then during last election, after the attempt on Trump’s life, when he stood up with his fist in the air as to say, “Fight!”, the American people saw that and was so impressed and hated what the Democrats were doing to America, that they voted for Trump in a big way.
President Trump been busy draining the swamp and cleaning house in Washington. We now got some good Republicans, as the Rhinos are stepping down or being voted out.
The government is shut down because the Republicans finally got some balls and stood their ground against the Democrats corrupted ways. Whereas the Democrats are acting crazy, crying because they are not getting their way. They are blaming Trump.
I’m glad that Trump and the Republicans are not backing down. They are standing their ground. I believe that President Reagan would be proud. When President Reagan was president, he was against the Establishment, much like Trump.
Even though, my parents voted for Independent and for the person. I believed that my step-dad would had voted for Trump. I see that Trump shared some of the same values as what my step-dad had and infused into us kids; whether we listen to it and/or follow it or not, that depended on us kids.
Even though, some Democrats had left the Democratic party because they felt that they had lost their ways and their core values and principles. There are some who remained loyal in hoping that they will see the light. You have to admire them for sticking to their principles. Yet, at the same time, you want to slap them across the head and say, as Cher said in the movie, “Moonstruck”, “Snap out of it!”
Those on the Left say that anyone who voted for and supported Trump is a cult; and they say that we are being brainwashed. Just like those who voted for Trump would say that those on the Left are being brainwashed by the Democrats and mainstream news media.
This is one of the reasons that the schools are indoctrinating our kids; much like Adolph Hitler did during World War 2. Since the Pandemic, parents were able to see what the schools were teachings their kids, and they finally woke up.
You got to stand your ground. You got to stand for something or you’ll fall for anything. You may not get everything you want by standing your ground. I mean, our family could had been better off if dad would had done more giving in or a little more backing down. Our family always had plenty just living his advice and sticking to his core values he was teaching us growing up. Since he had a lack of trust of the government, he didn’t get some of what he created patented.
I hope that President Trump and the Republicans don’t back down and cave to the Democrats. Believe me I will not back down. Even though, I was forced to get the poison (vaccine) to keep my job being I was so close to retirement.
I’m here to tell you to stand your ground and don’t back down. Stick to your family values. You got to stand for something and don’t let anyone tell you different!
