The bad guys are everywhere and how can you protect yourself from them?

In the 70’s, a person could go walking in the dark in Fargo, North Dakota and not be afraid. You could even do that in the 90’s. When did this all change for Fargo?

You didn’t need to locked your doors to your home and/or car years ago. Back then,you knew your neighbors and they watched out for each others. The kids played together. If you went vacation, your neighbors would watched your place for you. It just seems that people doesn’t take the chance to get to know their neighbors anymore. What used to be neighborhood party, now there is a tall fence between the 2 neighbors; so that cannot see over the other side.

The bad guys are using your phone, your computer, filling your email, mining your info, tricking your love ones, impersonating you, and plotting their next steal.

Make no mistakes about it: we are at war with a growing industry of fraud. Thanks to timely technology and timeless greed,scam pitches have escalated to the point that most pitches every other day, each of us is forced to contend with fraudulent emails, texts, social media posts and phone calls.

Fraud starts with information about you. It can be easily and cheaply bought in an underground marketplace.

There are more than 15 billion pieces of stolen personal data. The average person logs in to nearly 200 sites that require passwords or other information.

You can fight back by taking these steps; set up your digital accounts to multifactor authentication, freeze your credit at the 3 major credit bureaus, do not save credit card numbers online, activate biometric locks or fingerprints on your cell phones, use antivirus software, and try not to have your phone numbers involved in too many online accounts.

Criminal call center from around the world may be dialing your number soon. If it sound too good to be true, you are probably dealing with an amateur.

Ignore phone calls from numbers you don’t know. Never make quick decision when it involves money. Listen for telltale words and phrases like “insider information.” Crooks can also reach you through social media or email newsletter. Before committing to any investment check their credentials.

Stealing your money is only half the battle for cyber crooks.Let’s take a look at some of the hottest scams.

Google voice scam-never share verification codes with anyone. Rental assistance cons-as eviction bans in cities and state expire, renter should be on the lookout for rental assistance scams. Fake Amazon employees-ignore calls, text messages, emails and social media messages about suspicious account activity. Cryptocurrency ATM payments. Local tax impostors. Favor for a friend gift cards-double check with your friend to make sure. P2p payment requests-only send money to friends and family.

Never buy gift cards for any purpose other than to give as a gift, Use credit cards for all online transactions, they will with protection. Don’t pay for goods and services with cryptocurrency. Never send cash through the mail.

Organized crimes are becoming more and more lately.

Watch out for medicare scammers! Never give your medicare number to anyone. If someone offers you free genetic testing in person or online, it’s a scam. If someone calls and promises you COVID-19 tests hang up the phone. Medicare will not reach out to you regarding enrollment.

Bad boys,bad boys,who are you going to call when they come looking for you? Crimes are at an all-time high. The polices are overwhelm and underpay because of the defund the police movement by the Democrats. Under the Biden’s administration, we have criminals and terrorist entering this country illegally with the help of the cartels. Our Liberals DA and judges are setting these criminals free with the help of George Soros.

Thank God we got a President who is cracking down on these criminals. Thank God that we got Elon Musk and the DOGE investigation going on involving corrupt government officials. Those on the Left are crying about it.
