halloween

One of the reason I loved Halloween is because I can dress up in whatever costume I choose to wear for that year. You could say, “hiding behind the mask,” so to speak.

A good actor can put himself fully into the character they portray in the movies or television, and a person will think that they are the actual person. When they do that, they could win an Oscar, because they played the part so well.

Maybe the reason why I loved dressing up for Halloween is due to the fact of the childhood I’ve had. Being molested and/or abused will make a person hide behind the mask and pretend to be someone they’re not.

Since I was molested as a child, I would pretend I was OK even though I really wasn’t. I would hide my feelings by stuffing them and pretend to be someone I’m not. I could easily have won an Oscar. There was a time that I would imagine my family to be like the Brady Bunch as a cover-up.

One of my costume I would dress up a lot as a child was Superman. Believe me, I was no Superman for dealing with the abuse I suffered.

A political example is the Democrats always hid behind a mask ever since the Ku Klux Klan was formed in December 24, 1865. it was formed by the Democrats and became a vehicle for them as a resistance to the Republican party’s Reconstruction and ending slavery in the South.

The Democrats would rather the American people not know this truth. If they could, they would rewrite history and leave that part out. They would rather have the American people to believe that anyone who supports Donald Trump is a racist. They want the blacks to think that the Democrats is the party for them; when history tells you different. It was the Southern Democrats who didn’t want to end slavery, because it was their livelihood.

To this day, the Democrats have been hiding behind a mask to avoid the confrontation and fooling the American people. They even have the fake mainstream news media backing them up as well. People like Whoopi Goldberg will defend the Democrats even though it was them who fought not free the slaves during the Civil War.

During the Pandemic, once again, it was the Democrats who pushed the wearing of mask. They would used the excuse that it’s for people’s health. In reality, they would have kept everyone wearing a mask to this day and the future. To this, we the people say, “Wear your mask, take your pills, now a whole generation is mentally ill.”

When Trump says that we must build a wall to keep the illegal immigrants out, they called him racist.

It only goes to show that all the Democrats care about is to remain in power at all cost. They hide behind a mask by showing them that they are not racist. It was the Republicans who had done more for people of colors than the Democrats.

Usually when you see someone wearing a mask in the past entering the bank or a store, your first reaction is that they come to robbed them. Yet, during the Pandemic, it was a requirement set up by the Democrats to get everyone to wear a mask.

Then during the riots in our cities, the rioters would be seen wearing a mask. They almost look like terrorist. The Radical Muslims would be seen wearing mask to hide their identity. When those rioting the war in Israel, they are wearing a mask as well. They are wearing a mask in honor of Hamas.

The Pandemic is over, but I still see some who are still wearing a mask. I wouldn’t doubt that they wear a mask while alone in their car or home. To them, I want to say, “Take the damn mask off! You’re by yourself, for crying out loud.”

What are you hiding from? Who are you trying to fool?

You can wear a mask for Halloween but the next day, take the mask off.

It makes me think of a time when I was in Detroit Lakes, there was a person who would drive around wearing the Jason’s mask from the movie, “Friday, the 13th.”

I may have been a victim of child abuse, sexual and otherwise; but I’m no longer a victim. I’m a survivor. I don’t need to hide behind a mask anymore.

What is your reason for wearing a mask? What are you hiding from?

You can dress up for Halloween if that’s what you’re into but after the holiday, take off the damn mask.
