As I said last week, this is a historical year for America. Now I will give you the rest of the story.

The Democrats say that they are fighting for democracy; when in reality they are the ones destroying democracy.

DEMOCRACY: is a system of government in which state power is vested in the people or the general population of a state. In other words, it’s up to the American people to decide in an election process. Yet, which I heard from someone at work, who is a Democrat, say that what today’s Democrats pulled is all about power and remaining in power.

About a month or so ago, the Democrats had pulled off the biggest coup in America’s history. What is a coup? COUP: a sudden, violent, and unlawful seizure of power from a government. I’m not saying that Joe Biden wasn’t fit to be President; but the American people should be the ones to decide through the election process.

After his failed debate with Donald Trump in June; in which Joe Biden showed his age and mental capability, the Democrats became very scared that they will lose in the election in November. Joe Biden was slipping in the polls, and so they decided to pull a coup to get him off the ticket. It’s like taking the keys away from an elderly parents because they are unfit to drive. The Democrats had turned on Biden so quickly and stabbed him in the back.

If Joe Biden would had chosen not to seek a second term early in the year during the primary, Kamala Harris would had to go through the whole election process to get the delegates to even runs for President. Look at the 2020 election, Kamala Harris was the first to dropped out before the Iowa caucuses; so she never really campaign for the American peoples votes.

The only reason, Joe Biden picked Kamala Harris in the first place was because of the DEI reason. What does DEI stands? DEI: diversity, equity and inclusion is a concept and practice used by organizations to recognize and value differences among people, ensure fair opportunities for everyone and foster a work environment where all feel welcomed and respected.

There was better candidates that Joe Biden could had chosen for his running mate in the 2020 election. Kamala Harris further Left than Bernie Sanders, it took more than one tries to passed the bar exam. Not to downgrade powerful working woman who got ahead the through hard works; the only reason Harris got where she is today was because she’s a woman of color. Like the joke, she got ahead by being on her knees like Monica Lewinsky in the Bill Clinton’s sex scandal.

Kamala Harris approval rating was lower than Joe Biden. She had the lowest approval rating of any Vice-President. It was lower than Dan Quale. When George Bush Sr. was seeking a second term, he was advised to changed his running mate; because the Republicans feared that Quale would hurt Bush’s chances for reelection. The joke back then was: The Secret Service had ordered to shoot quale if anything was to happened to Bush. To make that joke work, a person must know that quale is a bird.

Kamala Harris picked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate, making him the third person from Minnesota to be a VP pick for the Presidential election. Now 2 of them went on to run unsuccessfully for President later on. The first was Hubert Humphry in 1968 and the second was Walter Mondale. Humphry was Vice-President under Lyndon Johnson and Mondale was Vice-President under Jimmy Carter. But Tim Walz was the worse of the 3. (a little sidebar: it’s too bad that Burgum wasn’t Trump’s VP choice; just so Burgum could debate Walz.)

Under Tim Walz leadership in Minnesota, they burned down Minneapolis after George Floyd’s murder. Also during that time Kamala Harris funded those behind the burning of the major cities at that time.

At least in the 1968 election, Lyndon Johnson chose not to seek a second term before the Primary; which gave the American people a chance to decide who they would want to runs for President. Kamala Harris should had the same opportunity to do the same; instead of this coup that the Democratic party pulled off.

I’m not defending Joe Biden because I have been saying all along that he was too old and unfit to be President. What I’m saying is the Democrats party pulled dirty all in the name of power. I feel sorry for Joe Biden because what they pulled on him. They should be ashamed of themselves. They committed elderly abuse first; and then when they saw that they could lose the election, they pulled a coup to get rid of Joe Biden.

It’s like when my step-dad was in a nursing home, the family felt that he shouldn’t be allowed to drive anymore because of his age. We couldn’t persuade him to give up his freedom to drive or even stay in the nursing home. It was still his choice.

Joe Biden still was able to make his own decision; but the people behind the coup of the Democratic party threatened to take away their donations and even exposed Joe and Hunter Biden if Joe didn’t drop out. It was down and dirty what was pulled by them.

This will bite them in the ass this coming November as the American people will decide who will be the President of the United States. Will Trump be the second President in history to become President after losing 4 years ago?

I would rather drink a hot beer than vote for Kamala Harris and the Democrats ever again. We need to throw those bums out on their ass. We must send them a message from the American people that in the words of Donald Trump, “YOU’RE FIRED!!” What will it be?

This year is a historical year and no wonder it’s very vital we know our history; otherwise we are doom to repeat it. We can learn a lot from our history. History is known to repeat itself.

This year the Democrats convention is going to be in Chicago. The last time the Democrats convention was in Chicago was 1968, August 26-29.

The convention in Chicago in 1968, was a year of riots, political turbulence and mass civil unrest. They had 2 assassination that year. Martin Luther King Jr. back in April, and Robert Kennedy on June 5th. There was opposition to the Vietnam War; which inflamed racial tensions, burning the draft cards, and voter suppression.

We got pretty much the same thing going on in 2024. We have people protesting the war in Israel. There are riots in our major cities like Chicago. Pro Palestine are protesting against the war over in Israel and standing up for the Hamas terrorist group. The Jews are under attack not only in Israel but also in the United States as well. The Democrats are very much divided like they were back then. We have Bobby Kennedy Jr running as an Independent because the Democrats pushed him out.

The Democrats convention will be coming soon and there is already a big concern for another riots at this year convention like there was back then.

Former President Donald Trump is not the first time that a former President, who lost a reelection to win another term few years later. Former President Grover Cleveland, served as the 22nd and 24th president, from the year 1885-1889 and 1893-1897. He was the only U.S. President to serve non-consecutive presidential terms.

Trump could be the 45th and 47th President.

Believe me, if Trump wins the election in November, he would be the second President to do that. He could very well do that because he is more popular now than he was in 2016 and 2020. The last time a President was as popular for the Republicans was with Ronald Reagan in 1984.

Much like, Barak Obama was very popular in 2008 and 2012 for the Democrats. The last time a Democrat President was that popular was 1960 with John F. Kennedy.

Reagan was so popular in 1984, that he had a landslide victory defeating Walter Mondale from Minnesota. Reagan couldn’t win Minnesota and Washington D.C.; but won every other states.

Could Donald Trump repeat the Reagan’s landslide in November? Could he actually take Minnesota?

Ronald Reagan was the oldest President to be elected until the 2020 election when Joe Biden was elected. Toward the end of Reagan’s second term, he started getting Alzheimer; yet he still had more of his mind than Sleepy Joe Biden.

You can’t tell me that Joe Biden doesn’t have dementia. He’s so old that someone is guilty of elderly abuse. Could it be Jill Biden or Hunter Biden?

The only difference between Biden and Reagan was that Reagan was very popular and Biden is the worse President, worse than Jimmy Carter and George W. Bush.

Reagan was able to used his age to his advantage against Mondale. Biden couldn’t do that.

Now I’m a history buff. I really enjoyed history back in high school. There is not much a person can do with a history major. My love for history is coming handy through my blog.

As you know there is a third option for this election, for those who don’t like Trump or Biden-now Kamala Harris. That option is Bobby Kennedy Jr. He’s running as an Independent because the Democrats had pushed him out.

He has a name recognition behind him; even though, the younger generation are not familiar with the Kennedys. The Kennedys don’t have the popularity they once had.

Right now, the Kennedy’s family is divided over Bobby Kennedy Jr making a run for President. If Rose Kennedy knew how divided her family is right now, she would roll over in her grave. It was Rose Kennedy who controlled the family with an iron fist. She was very much like Queen Elizabeth of England. She kind of had to; since Joseph Kennedy Sr would had ruined the Kennedy’s name He made some shady deals along with the business savvy. There was bootlegging involved as well. I was still fascinated with the Kennedys rise to fame and power through the American dream.

When I think of Rose Kennedy, I can’t help but think of my grandmother Heger. If she controlled the Heger’s family like Rose Kennedy did, maybe the my family could had been better off as well. From what I heard about my grandfather through doing research for my family tree in school, at one time he had money and property; but he drank it away. In a way, he was much like Joseph Kennedy Sr, except for the drinking.

The reason Bobby Kennedy Jr was pushed out of the Democrat party was because, they and the Leftist mainstream news media called him the antivaxxer. He had a book published exposing the truth about Dr. Nazi Fauci. He was a labeled a conspiracy theorist. Those on the Left called him a nutjob. Yet, at the same time, they are a afraid of him as they are of Donald Trump.

They didn’t want to give him secret service protection, when he rightfully deserve it also. It was until after the attempt on Trump’s life, did they finally decided to give him protection as well.

Bobby Kennedy Jr should be allowed to debate both Trump and Harris; and before that Biden, but Joe Biden was so afraid of debating both Trump and Kennedy. He knew that he couldn’t win if he debated them both. He would just stammered like an old man he is.

Think about it, in the 1992 election, Ross Perot was allowed to debate the first George Bush and Bill Clinton. Now Ross Perot was considered a nutjob during that election. No one took him seriously enough.

What I’m getting at don’t count Kennedy out quite yet. In the 1992 election, Ross Perot received 19,743,821 votes, the most ever received by a non-major party candidate, which accounted for 19.91% of the popular vote. This cause Bill Clinton to become President. He was considered to be lesser of 3 evils.

Let us look at the Governor’s race in Minnesota when Jesse Ventura was elected governor. They counted Jesse Ventura out. They thought that Humphrey would be elected governor on his name alone. Jesse Ventura, a Reform candidate defeated Republican Norm Coleman and Hubert Skip Humphrey. Jesse Ventura got 773,713 popular vote, the percentage of 37%. Norm Coleman got 717,350 popular votes, the percentage of 34.3%. Humphrey took third place with 587,528 popular vote, the percentage of 28.1% Now that was a shock to the people of Minnesota and United States as well.

Never estimated the American people, they may surprised you!!

If it wasn’t for Trump being in the race to be President once again, I would vote for Kennedy over Biden and Harris on the Democrats side. I wouldn’t vote for Nikki Haley as well. I don’t agree with all of Kennedy’s policy but I do like the fact that he’s against the vaccine; which I’m also against. That may be a strike against him.

Bobby Kennedy Jr. had said what I have been saying all along, which is, his father and uncle would not be accepted by today’s Democrats. Kennedy is for democracy like Trump. He’s for the American people. He felt that the Democrats were doing a witch hunt on Trump to eliminate him from his run for President again. Donald Trump called Kennedy a smart man, and he has great respect for him; like Kennedy has respect for Trump.

I have to admit I would love to see a Trump/Kennedy ticket, because that would really pissed off a lot of people on the Left, especially those who dislike Trump.

It’s good to see that Kennedy is persistent in his quest for President. I pray that he doesn’t get assassinated like his father and uncle.

His wife is a Hollywood actress that Hollywood seems to be turning their back on because of Kennedy’s run for President.

The reason the 2000 election had a recall between George W. Bush and Al Gore was because of Ralph Nader, another third party. People like me, who did not like George W. Bush and Al Gore; and I wrote in Elizabeth Dole’s name when I voted in that election.

So once again, don’t count out Kennedy in this year election. One of these times, the third party could actually get elected President. Could it be this year?

If you don’t like Trump or Harris, then vote for Kennedy!! He could be an upset like Ventura.

Have you ever run into someone who seems to have a self-righteous attitude? Someone who thinks they are so much better than everyone else? Do you know any self-righteous preachers?

These are people who have such big ego. They build themselves up by making others look small. They are quick to judge and condemn others. When confronted on it, they are quick to condemn you by ridiculing you. They look down on you because you are not like them.

Do you ever wonder why some people refuse to go to church?

There are self-righteous preachers and people in the church who are quick to judge and condemn you for whatever reasons.

Have you noticed that there are churches propping up with no denominational affiliation?

It’s to attract those who are so against self-righteous preachers and people.

Well, Jesus Christ, himself came across that with the Pharisees in his days. He accused them of being hypocrites. He told them to take a good look at themselves before condemning someone else.

Even though, I’m a Christian, there was a time I felt like leaving the church because of a self-righteous preacher at that time. I believed in God and Jesus as my Lord and Savior; I just had a big problem with these self-righteous people.

Apostle Paul said in Romans 3:12, “All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.”

Like the song, “Follow Your Arrow,” If you save yourself for marriage, you’re a bore. You don’t save yourself for marriage, you’re a horrible person. If you won’t have a drink then you’re a prude. But they’ll call you a drunk as soon as you down the first one. If you can’t lose the weight, then you’re just fat. But if you lose too much, than you’re on crack. If you don’t go to church, you’ll go to hell. If you’re the first one in the front row, you’re self-righteous.

In another song, “Mississippi Squirrel Revival,” by Ray Stevens, A Young boy took a squirrel that he caught and put it in an old shoebox to the First Self-Righteous Church. I don’t know about you, but that would be fun to see happen in a self-righteous church with a self-righteous preacher and people. It might shake them up a little.

People like Michelle Bachman are quick to condemn someone for being gay and want to pray the gay away. I believe their tune would change if they actually had a family member who is gay. Believe me, I had gotten in a debate with this self-righteous preacher over that, ever since I discovered that I have a cousin who is gay. There are family members who doesn’t accept him and want not much to do with him. Now he’s missing and we don’t know where he is or if he’s still alive.

If you have a drink and posted it on Facebook, there are self-righteous people who are quick to condemn you for it. I would get into debate with these people over that. The Lord knows I drink, that don’t give you the right to judge me for it. It’s between Jesus and I; and if he’s not condemning me, why should you?

If you keep it up, I will just have a beer with Jesus and tell Him about how you are so quick to condemn and judge.

I know a co-worker, who thinks that he’s so damn good; when in reality he’s as not good as he think. Not just me, but there are other co-workers who gets so frustrated with him.

People like that has such a big ego. They would bragged just about anything, making themselves look better than you. I got family members like that. My dad would get so upset with them when they come to visit, because they would be constantly bragging.

Those who lives in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. There are people just because they are rich they think that they are so much better than everyone else. I mean, Mikey Hoeven, even said to the staff at Apple Creek Country Club in Bismarck, “You know who I am?” Well, I wish I personally heard that, I would had said, “do you know who I am?” Believe me, if I ever run into John Hoeven, I would say, “ask your wife if she knows who I am.” Because of that I have no respect to John Hoeven.

I would love to get a shirt made up with what Mikey Hoeven said, “you know who I am.” When I wear it people would ask where I got that shirt. It would draws a lot of attention.

Yet these rich people looks down on anyone who is poor, either lived in an apartment or a trailer. If you are homeless, they look down on you as well.

They want to improve the city but they forget about the homeless and/or the poor who cannot afford to live in these fancy buildings.

The next time you are tempted to think you are better than another, remember that no one is righteous. To those who think they are, get off your high horse and walk a mile in my shoes. Or as the woman in the movie, “The Help”, who made a pie and then said later, “eat my shit.”

Let us not be so quick to condemn someone just because of their lifestyle choices. Let us stop judging others because they don’t have what you may have. This is America and we are a melting pot.

All those memories, we got them!

The old Fargo Highrise is torn down. When it was first built, it was the tallest building in Fargo, North Dakota. My great Aunt Nora and Great Uncle Art lived there when it was first built. The apartment was very small. It was a senior home that became a low-income housing. It was a landmark for the city of Fargo there was no other way but to tear it down. It had asbestos. Now asbestos is a group of fibrous minerals used to strengthen and fireproof materials. When inhaled, the asbestos fibers become trapped in the body. It causes such diseases as mesothelioma and lung cancer. The high rise also had bedbugs bad before it was finally torn down.

The oldest hospital, St. John’s hospital was also torn down recently in Fargo, ND. Now St. John Hospital was the first hospital in Fargo, ND; even before St. Luke, now Sanford. It was built in 1904. I had my tonsil taken out in that hospital before Easter the year I was in the 3rd grade.

We all know that both Kmart and Sears are no longer around.

For those who used to lived in Fargo and moved away, you wouldn’t recognize the city because of the changes. Some of the buildings burned down throughout the ages and some were torn down to make room for newer buildings. At the old Frying Pan on Main Ave in Fargo, showed pictures of the old Fargo. You probably can go to the public library to see old pictures of Fargo, just to reminisce. In other words, the younger generation will not experience Fargo the way it once was. I’m glad that I’m from the generation that at least saw some of the old memories of the city.

The house I lived in before my folks were married and shortly after is now torn down. It was near Elephant Park and the VA hospital. Even West Fargo had changed since I was a kid. West Fargo had grown quite a bit. I don’t even recognize my old neighborhood in the trailer court.

My folks are gone now also and have been for a few years. Who needs pictures with a memory like mine. I will cherished the memories I have of my folks-some good and some bad. I’m grateful for them even though at times I may get upset with them. Since my step-dad raised me from the time I was 5 going on 6 years old, he was more of a dad to me. I made a decision to be cremated and my ashes buried with them in Rollag, MN.

At the beginning of World War 2, aerial bombings flattened much of Warsaw, Poland. However, most of one damaged building still stubbornly stood-the Polish headquarters for the British and Foreign Bible Society.

It goes to show that many throughout the ages had tried to destroyed the Bible and God’s Words had endured.

It seems that common sense is also a lost art as well. People doesn’t seems to have common sense anymore. As my dad would say, “You can be book smart but not street smart.”

There is a lack of respect now days as well. I was raised to respect my elders. I would get my face slap if I didn’t.

There is a lack of respect for the American flag and people of authority as well. I remembered every morning before classes would start, standing up facing the flag with a hand on our heart and saying the pledge of allegiance. I heard now, they don’t even do that in school anymore.

People used to respect others even though we didn’t agree with them with everything they may said. I said it before, when I was going to NDSU, I became a Republican and had a professor, Dr. Thomas Matchie, who was Democrat, we had respect for each other and he became my advisor. You don’t see that now days in college.

If you go on Facebook, all you see is people spewing hatred because of who you may vote for. There is no love and respect anymore. There’s no unity. Sure this is an election year, and we have the right to vote and support for who we want. But we also have to be willing to accept others viewpoints as well.

Years ago, we used to know our neighbors. Now, we prefer not to get to know our neighbors. We seems to be just too busy to get to know our neighbors. Neighbors did things for each other. They look out for each other as well. We didn’t have to worry about people stealing packages like we do now.

When did all this hatred come about? We are supposed to be united but we are so divided as a country. The last time this country was united was after 9/11, when George W. Bush was President. We weren’t united under Obama. We got even more divided under Trump in 2016. This country is even more divided under Joe Biden.

If anything, the attempt on Trump’s life had shown us the pure hatred in this country. There is more hate in this world than there is love. We should be able to love but hate the action; but people can’t seem to separate them. Another thing that was shown at the Republican convention this past week was that the Republicans are finally united; which I have to admit, I haven’t seen before. I mean, the Democrats are not this united right now.

I don’t know about you but I missed the old days when there was love and unity. People accepted you despite your opinions and political views. We need to go back to those days, the good old days. It shouldn’t be up to the church but rather starts with us the American people.

It seems that the devil is winning in causing a division. It’s up to us to change that! I don’t know about you, but I miss a little back then, now.

Have you ever dreamed of moving to California?

At one time, it was a dream for many to move to California. Now just the opposite is happening. It used to be go west, young man; now it’s seeing California in my rear view mirror.

I have to admit, when I was younger, I wanted to move to California to be an actor and singer. It was my dream. I’m so glad that my folks talked me out of it. I will go into why people are leaving California.

At one time, California was a hot spot for anyone who wants to be famous. It’s used to be a red state. Now it’s a state full of fruits and nuts; and not the kind you eat.

When did California went from being a red state to a blue state?

For many years, the Republicans Party was the dominant force in California politics. Yet the state was never overwhelmingly conservative. It was a leader of the national Progressive movement of the early twentieth century and for decades continued to support a range of liberal policies even under Republican governors. Democrats began to gain ground in the 1950s and the 2 parties were highly competitive in the 4 decades between 1958 and 1998. In the 1990s, California began to shift from a competitive two-party system to Democratic control. Today, the Democrats have gained near total control over California, making it the nation’s most consequential blue state.

For many years, the Republicans easily won California and Texas. It wasn’t until 2000, that California turned blue.

Most Hollywood stars and producers of the past were Conservative; but their focus was on making movies more than politics. Now, Hollywood are more inclined to vote Democrat. Most of them get more political rather than focus on making good movies. They used their star status to speak for the rest of the country. Well, I’m here to tell them, that they do not speak for the American people who lives in the Midwest. They should stick to making movies and keep their political beliefs out of it.

California Governor, Gavin Newsom has become a poster child for the new Left of the Democratic Party. They have groomed him and built him up much like they did Barak Obama.

The truth about Gavin Newsom is though, people have been leaving California more and more under his watch. The taxes are high. The economy is very poor. Crimes is at its highest. Homeless and drug abuse are at an extreme high. Just go into any major cities in California, you will be stepping over homeless people and needles for those addicted to drugs. Businesses are closing their doors and leaving California.

There population is shrinking. As their population shrink, they also lose electoral college delegates.

The biggest fear for California used to be a big earthquake happening, that would literally break the state off the rest of the country. Now, that’s just like so what!

California been known to be a beautiful state; but they have had so much fire the last few years. The fire been destroying a lot of trees, homes, and wildlife.

There are fewer than 120,000 acres, or 5%, of the original redwood forest remains today.

During the Pandemic, under Gavin Newsom leadership, there have been more death in California by Covid. A lot of these deaths were elderly people in the nursing homes. He was all for shutting everything down, from businesses, schools, and even churches.

Other blue states governors look up to Gavin Newsom and try to duplicate him for their state. Minnesota governor, Tim Walz sees Gavin Newsom as some sort of god. He wants Minnesota to be like California when it comes to getting electric cars for example.

Whereas the red states such as Florida, Texas, North Dakota and South Dakota ect, are booming.

Few months ago, Gavin Newsom had a debate with Florida governor Ron DeSantis and got his ass whipped. Proving that Ron DeSantis is a way better governor than Gavin Newsom.

Not just California, but the state of New York is also losing people, as the good people are moving away and going to such state as Florida. As they lose people, they also lose electoral votes as well.

What get me, those on the Left hates our Conservative values; but yet they want to move to the red states for the better economy. Are they jealous of what the red states have to offer?

Like the song goes, Heads Carolina-Tails California, I’m so glad that I never moved to California like I wanted to. I may complained about the winter in North Dakota or how cheap North Dakota is; but at least we have a better economy.

If California does get hit with the great earthquake that cut them off from the rest of the country, it would be good riddance of all the fruits and nuts that live there. Maybe, a wall should be built around California to keep those in and away from the rest of the country.

I don’t mind if the good people of California leave for greener pastures; but they must leave their Leftist views behind. We have enough crazy people, we don’t need anymore of those fruits and nuts.

Are you California dreaming or California leaving? Are you tired of poor economy, high crimes, high homeless and drugs rates? Do you want to go where there is greener pastures? You are welcome but don’t bring your Leftist views with you!

The Democrats is grooming Gavin Newsom to become President. Why would the United States want what California has? He doesn’t speak for the good people of this country, especially me. I would pick Ron DeSantis over Gavin Newsom any day.

How many have played the old computer game “Oregon Trails,” when computers first came out?

Just think, games like that and going west wouldn’t happened without Thomas Jefferson and the Louisiana purchase April 30, 1803. It was purchased from France by the United States. The United States purchased 828,000 square miles of land west of the Mississippi River for $15 million. For roughly 4 cents an acre, the United States double its size, expanding the nation westward.

Lewis and Clark expedition happened May 14, 1804- September 23, 1806. Sacagawea led Lewis and Clark out west as translator and a guide.

Those on the Left wants the people to know that Lewis and Clark were racist by making them out to be the villains by making them look bad. If you really think about it, they couldn’t made the discovery out West without Sacagawea. They needed each other.

If anything, the Whites introduced small pox and whiskey, also know as “fire water” to the Native Americans. You can say that the Native Americans were good for the new Americans from the time America was discovered, up until the Lewis and Clark expedition.

After the Lewis and Clark expedition, the American people would slowly make their ways out West to enlarge their territory of the United States. They first needed someone who knew the right path and how to navigate.

It wasn’t until between 1840’s and 1860’s did hundreds of thousands of Americans traveled west in covered wagons pulled by teams of oxen; even though the old Western movies showed horses instead.

The California gold rush started January 24, 1848. The American people caught the fever for gold and rushed to moved West.

Who haven’t played cowboys and Indians when they were a child?

Who haven’t sang the song, “Home on the Range?” That was the theme song for the cowboys back in the 1800’s.

The West was wild back then but yet it was much different than it is today. It was true cowboy’s justice. They had respect for property; not like they do now. In this new wild west, those on the Left is destroying cities with their protest.

Maybe I was born in the wrong era, because I should have been a cowboy. Life may have been rougher but it still was better than it is today.

Now days we seem to have the new wild west. The true American cowboys would roll over in their grave if they knew how this new wild west is actually destroying things.

You heard the old saying, “Go West, Young Man!” Throughout history, many have took it literally. It’s started with the Gold Rush and expanding the United States. Many went to prosper. I have relatives, who was born in Casselton, North Dakota and lived in Fargo; but they had gotten the fever to go out West for a better opportunity.

Now it seems that the tides had switched. The American people are fed up with this new wild west. Stay tuned for next week as I will talked about how many are leaving California.

Give me a home where the buffalo roam and wide open spaces. A place where you can see the stars at night without pollution and city lights.

To some people like my mother would say, “the end comes everyday for someone.” It’s almost like they refused to see the possibility of the end time being near.

Some people believe in the rapture. What is the rapture? When will it actually happen?

According to 1 Thessalonians 4:15, “According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.”

The rapture is an eschatological position held by some Christians, particularly those of American evangelicalism, consisting of an end-time event when all dead Christian believers will resurrected and, joined with Christians who are still alive, together will rise in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

There’s a big debate on when the rapture will happen. Some say, “it will happen before the tribulation,” some say, in the middle of the tribulation.” I’m still confused over when the rapture would happen. I can only hope that I would be rapture up before it’s get even worse here on earth.

The spirit of Jezebel is running rampant, wreaking havoc by leading modern civilization into idolalatry and perversion, promoting her own brand of religion: the religion of self. At the same time an explosion is taking place: the spirit of Elijah is released into the world.

Jezebel, the master deceiver and false prophet, turns her followers into eunuchs and zombies while on her mission to destroy the true prophets of God.

Some say that the end will come like a ball of fire. There will be wars and rumors of wars before Jesus will return.

In the book and movie, “Left Behind,” the anti-Christ will make a false peace with Israel, only to deceive the world. I remembered when Pope John Paul the second was alive, he made a statement, “Beware of the next pope, because he could introduce the world to the anti-Christ.”

How did we get such blatantly corrupt people running the White House and our country? Judgement will come on this country because of the wickedness of our elected officials, and the travesties of injustice perpetrated on the sleeping public.

Look at the last 3 presidential elections, will you? Back in 2016, it was between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. They were not the most popular among many Americans. Much like the race for the White House between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. There are people out there who wished that there was a better choice. It gotten so bad that any decent person doesn’t want the job as president of the United States. Our politicians have become so corrupted. Any decent person wouldn’t want their dirty laundry out there to be expose.

The best governor of North Dakota, Ed Shaffer, when asked if he ever considered running for future office. He replied with an astounding NO, because he had his filled of it.

Just like when Mike Huckelby had ran for President, I was so against the idea of a former Baptist preacher running for President; and it has nothing to do with the fact that he was a Baptist. I don’t think any preacher should even think of running for President.

Those on the Left wants to take the Ten Commandments monument and plaque out of public places because they are offended by it. They already took the Bible and prayers out of our schools. They took the Ten Commandments out of the courtrooms already.

Those on the Left is so in favor of abortion; but luckily when Trump was President in 2016, he appointed Conservative judges and the Roe-vs-Wade was overturn, by putting the power back into the states where it belongs-not the federal government. Half of the country then made abortion illegal.

Those on the Left wants to eliminate the pro-nouns male or female. They want to make it ok for men to go into the women’s restroom because they see themselves as being a woman instead of a man. How wrong is that? They are asking for trouble that way. It would only leads to women being sexually assaulted and rape.

Persecution and great tribulation are coming. You will be unable to resist Jezebel if you fear death. We will overcome by the blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony and love not our lives unto death.

To make America great again, we must put God first instead of the government.

On the money we have it says, “In God we trust.” It doesn’t say, “in government we trust.” Yet those on the Left wants to remove In God we trust. They would rather that the American people put their trust in the government rather than God. They pushed this very hard during the pandemic. They wanted the American people to trust science and get the vaccine(poison). They forced it on the American people and/or attacked anyone who refused to get the poison. They even threatened to take your job if you didn’t get the poison.

This country was founded on the principles of the Bible and putting God first., Our forefathers even warned that this could happen if the government gets too big for their britches. This is why we celebrate the 4th of July, our Independence from the King of England after the Revolution War.

It’s our Independence Day coming up this 4th of July. I will stand up for our independence and defend her to this day.

It’s time America get back to God and make Him first in our lives! It’s time we bring back the Bible and prayer back in our schools. It’s time we bring back the American flags in our schools. It’s time students in our schools stand up to say the pledge of Allegiance like I did when I was in school.

As we celebrate the 4th of July this week, let us remember when our forefathers fought for our independence from England. Let us put God first over the government! Let us get back to God! It’s time we get right with God! Being rapture or not, I’m ready to go home to my heavenly home. Are you?

How many have seen the funniest movie, Grumpy Old Men?”

Grumpy Old Men was my step-dad’s favorite movie. He actually laugh and laugh while watching it over and over again. For those who knew my dad, he wasn’t much for laughing. He had a very stern look on his face. Not much can make him laugh!

Walter Matthau was perfect for the movie. If you have ever seen him in other movies, he played similar roles. He had that looks that made him a perfect fit for the movie. He was in such movie as “The Bad News Bears” with Tatum O’Neal, “The Odd Couples”, and “Dennis the Menace.”

When producers were looking for an actor to portray Oscar in the “The Odd Couples” series, they had to find an actor that was somewhat similar to Walter Matthau. They found that with Jack Klugman, playing opposite Tony Randall.

The remake of that series with the late Matthew Perry was an utter disaster, because Matthew Perry couldn’t light a candle to Walter Matthau and Jack Klugman.

Of course, the pairing of Walter Matthau with Jack Lemmon was just awesome. They were so different but yet so much a like. They had great chemistry together.

Did you know that Grumpy Old Men was filmed in Minnesota in January 1993, actually February 2 because of a lack of snowfall? The lake scene was shot at Lake Rebecca. The house was located at 1122 Hyacinth Ave East, St. Paul. Other filming location in Minnesota were: Red Wing for it’s scenic overlook, Center City for the church, Faribault, MN for it’s opening credits, and Stillwater, MN. A good location choice for filming the movie.

Like I said earlier, my step-dad loved that movie. Some who knew him best would have to admit that he was a grumpy old man. It was hard to get him to laugh. He was very serious all the time. The only other time he actually laughed was when my oldest brother, told a joke after Rock Hudson got AIDS. The joke was: how to not get AIDS; “sit on your ass and keep your mouth shut.”

When dad spoke, us kids better listen or feels his wrath. You almost hated to be in the same room with him because you will be lectured big time.

The older I get the more I seems to be more like my dad; and it’s nothing to do with DNA. He had rubbed off on me. Believe me, that’s not always a good thing either.

I don’t know if it’s the fact that I’m getting older, or I worked at Kmart for 12 years, or the world had just gone crazy; or a combination of all 3. You could say that I’m turning into a grumpy old man, and I’m only 58. Some say that I have an attitude because of my grumpiness. Maybe I do or maybe the world had just gone crazy. You tell me! Some say that it’s not a Christian thing to be a grumpy old man who prefer a cabin in the woods.

The book that I’m holding up is called, “The Problem with Everything.” It’s about the culture war between the older generations and the younger generations. Believe me, this is nothing new! There has always been a culture war between the 2 generations, from the time when I was young to now.

I mean, we felt the older generations were stick in the mud like they think of us today. Growing up, inside, us kids were laughing at dad foolish way of thinking. We even had teachers who we felt were old and out of touch, just like dad. I mean, I didn’t much care for my English teacher, Mr. Nelson readings choices but now I have to admired him.

I’m sure that the younger generations probably think the same about us as we did when we were their age. And I’m sure that it will be the same for them as well, we hope.

I don’t think they could redo Grumpy Old Men. Hollywood would destroy that classic.

If you see me as a grumpy old man, don’t criticize me and suggest that I should ask the Lord to melt my cold, cold heart; but instead pray for this crazy world we live in. There’s probably a good reason why I’m the way I am. I mean, aren’t we all a little grumpy because of the way the world has become? What do you think?

How many remembered holding their dad’s hand?

My dad’s hands were rough to the touch. The reason was because he was a hard working man who refused to wear hand lotion or even washed up. He would even say that men real men don’t wear hand lotions.

How many was spanked as a child?

My mother would say, ” swat them on the ass because there’s cushion.”

You could read quite a story in the callous’ and lines, years of work and worry had left their mark behind. I remember daddy’s hands working ’til they bled, sacrificed unselfishly just to keep us all fed. There was always love in daddy’s hands.

For some reason, my dad hated taking a bath, and he even smelled like it too. His body odor would linger in the house even after he passed away.

My dad was a hard man, who never showed his emotions except maybe his anger. When my mother would tell us kids to go give your dad a kiss goodnight, he would just shrugged it off. He wasn’t much for giving hugs and kisses. He believed that real men hide their feelings and boys don’t cry.

Maybe this is why, I wasn’t able to get married, even when I have had a few girlfriends. I couldn’t expressed my feelings and be passionate with them.

I do remembered getting whisker rubs from him though, and it didn’t feels good.

There was a time after my folks were married and came to pick me up at the babysitter. I ran outside to the car and trip on the sidewalk. I got up and inside the car, and my mother told me that I asked, “Kiss my hurts, daddy?”

He taught me how to tie my shoes, zip my jacket and even ride a bike. He carried me upstairs to my cousin’s bedroom while we were on vacation out West to Washington State; while I was sick. There was even a time as a teenager, when I was on one tractor and he was on the other, pulling that tractor back up to the farm to be worked on. He taught me how to fish and let the boat out off the road instead of the public loading dock. He taught me so much but when it came to expressing his love for his children, we were treated the same. He was cold and heartless. My mother had the feelings rather than him.

Yet, I do remembered him caring for his oldest grandchildren very much. They were the apple in his eyes. He took his oldest granddaughter for a ride and bought her black licorice. Her grandmother had her all dressed up very nice to go somewhere when they came back home, and she had it all over herself. Her grandmother was very upset with him.

When his only grandson was a baby, he adored him and bounced him on his lap. He was proud of him when he got his first deer when he became a teenager. So it hurt him, when his grandson took the shovel without asking.

When he talked, we better listen or else feels his wrath.

How many have received the back of their father’s hands?

Because of his anger issues, when it came to discipling us kids, he would goes overboard to the point of abuse.

Kids today are not discipline like we were growing up. Parents don’t dare discipline their children because they could be charge with child abuse.

This is why young people doesn’t respect their elders, because they are not disciplined like we were growing up. I’m not advocating beating a child. I’m just saying that a child needs to be disciplined once in a while. Raised them up right and they will become a respectable adult.

Daddy’s hands can either be soft or rough depending on the type of man he is.

Have you ever held your dad’s hands before he passed away?

My dad wasn’t much of a hugger and kisser but he would gladly take your hands to shake it. He believed that men shouldn’t hug men.

I will never forget my daddy’s hands, how big they were compared to my small child’s hands, as a young child.

Today is Father’s Day, if you can take your father or dad’s hands into yours. Cherish the memories of holding daddy’s hands.
