Happy Easter everyone!!

What kind of witness are you? How well do you do at witnessing to others? Are you lukewarm?

Many are afraid to witness because of when people sees the Jehovah’s Witness or the Mormons come strutting up to the house, apartment or even a car, they shut the blinds in hoping that they would go away.

Many Christians could give you a decent answer to why we need to evangelize the lost, but when you get around to specifics and plans, they begin to tremble, shake, and turn white.

If the church was a retail business, it would have floundered years ago, based on its bad marketing principles.

What part should Kingdom citizens(Believers) play in reaching the lost-an active or passive role? People needs the Lord, but so many of Christians don’t do a very good job at witnessing to others for many reasons.

What would you do if a lost person came knocking on your door? Would you turn them away?

The non-Christian population is busy with evading fears that they have either caused or that come from being victims. The Christians, unfortunately, often largely reflect the secular world when it comes to fear.

When we live lives with fear controlling our sharing of the Gospel, we are not living up to all that God has called us to.

Instead of dealing with fear, we sweep it under the carpet and call that good. It is time to have a wake-up call. Church, and honestly look at your life and see what actions and activities would be fear defining and faithless. What would the church be like internally and behind the scenes if it actually dealt with its issues or to quote modern psychology, its “demons”?

What a change we would find in our churches, regarding soul winning, if we had a different relationship to fear. Too often we have the white elephant of fear grossly distorting our walk, leading us to experience and pass on a counterfeit Christian experience.

Is the thought of witnessing scary to you?

I have a confession, I don’t know about you but I don’t do very well at witnessing to others. To be honest, I would rather be left alone than bother witnessing to others; as crazy as the world has become. I would prefer a cabin in the woods rather than deal with all the craziness going on in the world today., Believe me, the world is in desperate need of a Savior right now. What is the church doing about it? Are they as scared as I am?

When we witness, we are not to judge people’s lifestyle choices. Yet, there are people in churches who are hypocrite when it comes to witnessing to others. They are like the Pharisees and very judgmental of others. If you don’t look acceptable, you are not welcome into the church. If you don’t look or act the part, you are shunned away and condemn.

We all have a story to tell. Shouldn’t we be willing to share our story with the world? You can say that I am hiding behind my blog when it comes to witnessing to others. I haven’t done very well at witnessing because I don’t want to scare my readers away. Religious blogs don’t do very well for some reason. I’m aiming for what the readers want instead.

If your witness of Christ is hot, the King is accurately reflected and the Kingdom is blessed and grows. On the other hand, if you have a cold witness, your limp fish spiritual life will also become readily evident.

One of the hidden dangers of being lukewarm is that it dulls your senses. It slowly makes you think that life in partial obedience to God is actually another form of obedience.

What does a lukewarm heart do with the Bible, then? If the fire of the Spirit is not hot but just kept warm by a few dying embers of a past experience, this state will affect your approach to Scripture. If Christians continue being lukewarm, the Christian church will eventually die, when the elderly die. If the church doesn’t do their part in reaching the next generation, the devil will succeed. I’m afraid to say that the Christian churches are slowing dying.

When you think of a Christian as “on-fire” for God, what actions do you observe from their life?

We are in need of a revival once again. People needs the Lord now more than ever.

Where’s the beef? Much has been said recently about politics and how there is a dramatic difference from campaign promises to win election. This could be said and could be true of any political party, and can certainly apply to the Christian witness. It would seem a drastic problem when Christians at times do not resemble the name they bear. I have a hard time with people who judge others because they are different(sounds like I’m judging). Sometimes the devil is found in the heart of the long haired hippie type, while at other times it is the decadent heart of the clean cut church attending serial killer. On the other hand, in the church, spiritual fruit is not based merely on who can dress the best or quote the most Scripture or who listens to Christian radio. Yet there are people in the church who would judge a person if they drink alcohol or have been in a homosexual relationship.

The Great Commission states, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” This is our command as Christians to go out and witness.

As in Isaiah 6:8, my favorite Bible verse, “Whom shall I send, who will go for me? Here am I! Send Me!”

We mustn’t be all talk. The Lord will judge us by our actions as well. If we say one thing but do another, we are not truly witnessing. We are lukewarm and God will spit us out. There are people who doesn’t like drinking lukewarm water.

Now more than ever, the world needs to hear about Jesus. The Christian churches need to step up in their witnessing before it’s too late.

If you are moved by this blog to be a better witness press like and find yourself a good Bible preaching church. If you feel you are ready to come and accept the Lord, I hope that there will be someone who is a Christian available to lead you to accept the Lord. If not find yourself a good Bible preaching church. My prayer is that someone will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior from this blog. I also pray for a revival now more than ever.

What kinds of a leader are you?

Tough times can be your opportunity to make your leadership. One of the most challenging tasks leaders face is being a change agent and leading people through tough times. But it can be one of the most rewarding. Good leaders never delegate problem-solving to someone else. They are active in facing challenges, breaking through obstacles, putting out fires, correcting mistakes, and directing people. Tough times don’t break good leaders. They make them!

As human beings, we seem to believe that life is supposed to be easy. This is particularly a problem in America today. We expect a smooth and easy road to success. We expect our lives to be hassle-free. We expect the government to solve our problems. We expect to get the prize without having to pay the price. That is not reality! Life is hard!

Nothing worth having in life comes without effort. No one escapes life’s problems, failures, and challenges.

Good leaders understand that adversity and challenges are actually opportunities to rise up in leadership.

Leaders can do that only when they have the right mind-set.

Some leaders treat adversity as a stepping-stone, others as a tombstone. Which are you?

Good leaders see and seize opportunities. They are continually on the lookout for ways to help their organizations and advance their teams.

Great leaders are out front. Great leaders don’t merely send others out in times of trouble. They lead the charge. To me, the best leaders are those who are hands-on. They are not afraid to get their hands dirty if they have to. They will work right alongside you. Whereas leaders who sit on their lazy ass and bark orders are the worse managers. They have to have people skills.

I have worked under bad management and I have worked under good management. At one of my job, I had a good manager, who worked right along with us workers. His name was Eric Ronson from the Fargo Country Club. Because he was a good manager, it was easy to respect him, making it hard to leave for a better paying job.

The manager at the Fargo Dome also is not afraid to get his hands dirty as well. I have seen him out there working with the workers getting ready for a concert or an event.

Then I have managers who would sit on his ass in his office barking orders at the staff. Sometimes, they even have a list as long as my arm.

As a leader, you need to come alongside them to help them figure it out. No team can win and keep winning unless everyone works together. It’s the responsibility of leaders to promote teamwork. I have seen that at Concordia, when the managers would come downstairs during lunch hour to help out during the rush.

Leaders cannot delegate the solving of problems to someone else. They have to be active in facing challenges.

People pursue leadership for many reasons. Some want power. Others seek riches. Many are driven by an ideology or a desire to change the world.

Leaders who do not put people first will ultimately disqualify themselves as leaders, because their people will lose trust and respect for them.

If the leader is undisciplined, does sloppy work, wastes time, or treats people poorly, the people will follow suit. The employees will have a bad attitude because of poor management. Yet, some managers cannot see that they are the reasons for the bad attitude.

Insecure leaders have a hard time investing in other people because they fear that someone will take their place. Leaders who are honest with themselves know that they don’t have all the answers.

Insecure leaders rely on controlling the people.

Effective leaders make things happen and get results.

A strong leader earns respect; whereas a weak leader become the butt of all jokes. Trump may have a big ego and came across as a bully; but other countries feared him; which kept us out of wars when he was President. Whereas, with Joe Biden, the other countries are laughing at him and the United States. They sees him as being weak, old and feeble-minded. Other countries don’t respect him, because they don’t fear him. They sees Joe Biden as a bad joke for America; and someone who people can walk all over. It’s like elderly abuse when it comes to Biden. Then when he says, “You’re all going to pay,” or “I’ll take you out back,” no one can take him seriously.

What is the best way to lead a large group of people through a tough change? Appoint other leaders to share the load. No leaders on your team? Then grow them. Investing in leaders offers a greater return than leading followers all by yourself. The better leaders an organization has, the greater its potential.

As a leader, you may be tempted to build relationships only with the people you like or with whom you are highly compatible, and ignore the others. Good leaders deal successfully with these differences and leverage them for the benefits of the team and organization.

Nothing lifts a person like being respected and valued by others. In other words, to get respect as a leader, you have to respect those working under you. You can do that by working alongside your employees rather than sit in your office on your lazy ass, barking orders.

Once again, what kind of a leader are you? Are you hands on or do you sit on your lazy ass in your office barking order?

What are you taking or doing to boost your Immunity? Are you taking anything for your immune system?

I’ll tell you what I have been doing later in this blog.

For many of us, the Covid-19 pandemic served as a wake-up call, forcing us to take a frank look at how well our immune systems could serve us during challenging times. Is your immune health up to par? Could it save you from a monumental threat?

Eating a wide array of herbs and spices on a regular basis, Dr. Mercola explains, can go a long way toward strengthening your immune system and preventing illness.

No one is talking about eating healthier with home-grown food and such. Instead, they are promoting the vaccine; or what I would like to call it what it is, POISON, The doctors and the pharmaceutical are only after our money. They don’t want the truth out about the healthier way to boost your immunity. They rather keeps us unhealthy and at their beck and call. The more we depend on them, the more money they make.

Your immune system is your first line of defense against all disease, especially infectious disease, like Co-Vid.

The best way to develop immunity to any infectious threat is through natural exposure.

When you get a vaccine, you stimulate only your humoral immunity, the B cells. The T cells are not stimulated.

It’s important to know that even the medications and vaccines that so many rely on for protection against disease doesn’t work by themselves. But yet people seems to believe whatever the doctors tell them. They take what they say as God’s truth.

When you strengthen your own immune system, you strengthen your ability to create active immunity.

I have been taking elderberry syrup and ginger roots. I also am taking Glucosamine: Chondroitin and turmeric. I’m even taking cod liver oil.

Before the advent of drugs, plant remedies were the go-to medicines.

Elderberry is a bold flu and co-vid fighter.

Garlic is better for your heart and prevent cancer than anything the Pharmaceutical can offer you.

Ginger is a spicy medicinal powerhouse.

How many remembered taking vitamins when they were children? How many still do? Believe me, I was given vitamins when I was a child. The reason for it is because we are not getting enough vitamins in what we eat daily.

You may heard the statistic that about 80% of your immune system resides in your gut.

If you are anything like me, you probably don’t drink enough water like we should. We should drink up to 8-8ounces of glasses of water per day. The color of your urine can help you determine if you need to drink more water.

Sleep is absolutely vital to your health. Yet there are some who have trouble getting enough sleep. They takes drugs to sleep. Those who takes drugs to sleep, also have to take drugs to wake up. Mike Huckelby promotes a sleep relaxant to help him sleep. To me, it’s a drug and he should know better, being a former Baptist preacher. When he promoted this, I lose confidence in him.

The same with those who promotes eating healthier, but yet at the same time they rush to get the vaccine, as though it’s the miracle cure. I don’t have faith in them either. They are talking out of both side of their mouth.

We all know that coffee is used to help people wake up in the morning, because of the caffeine. But do you know that drinking herbal tea will help you relax; so that you can get a good nights sleep? It’s way better than any drugs, even the drug that Huckelby is promoting. I will not take it. I will settle with herbal tea instead. Not the regular tea either.

I’ll drink coffee in the morning; but I cannot drink too much coffee, otherwise it has the opposite effect on me, and I get sleepy.

Matter of fact, I have a cup of herbal tea with me as I write my blog. It helps me to relax and keep my focus; so that I can write.

I didn’t rush to get the vaccine like so many people did; even though I worked at a hospital. I put it off for as long as I could, hoping that somehow I could be exempt from it. When I couldn’t hold off anymore, I took the advice from my chiropractor, who told me to take real lemon juice to dilute the poison from the vaccine I was being force to get. My chiropractor also been helping to boost my immune system.

If it wasn’t for the benefits like health insurance and retirement, I wouldn’t had gotten the poison. Matter of fact, I wouldn’t get chemo if I ever come down with cancer. The vaccine and chemotherapy will just destroy your immune system.

Stop believing the doctors and those promoting any drugs like the vaccine! If anyone tells you about herbal and organic; and yet still promote the vaccine or any drugs, think twice before you believe them. They are just talking out of both side of their mouth. Do your research for yourself like I have been doing. Anyone who promotes the vaccines and other drugs is only looking after themselves. They don’t care about keeping us healthy. They want us to remain sick; that way they can continue making money.

In 1973, a charismatic doctor convinced 8 healthy people to commit themselves to mental hospitals. They had to prove their sanity to be set free. Their undercover mission would change our understanding of madness forever.

You may wonder why anyone would willingly commit themselves to a mental hospital in the first place. In this blog, I will show the horror of mental institutions and why we do not have them anymore. I call this “Funny Farm”; but like funny bones, it’s no laughing matter.

Like the song, “They’re coming to take me away,” where life is beautiful all the time, and I’ll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats. Believe me mental institution is nothing like that song.

For centuries, doctors have struggled to define mental illness-how do you diagnose it, how do you treat it, how do you even know what it is?

You’d have to be crazy to get yourself committed to a mental hospital.

Psychiatry, as a distinct branch of medicine, has come far in its short life span. The field has rejected the shameful practices of the recent past-the lobotomies, forced sterilizations, human warehousing. Today’s psychiatrists boast a varied arsenal of effective drugs and have largely dropped the unscientific trappings of psychoanalytic psychobabble, the “schizophrenogenic” or “refrigerator” mothers of yesteryear who had been blamed for triggering insanity in their offspring.

I’ve seen firsthand when I was a child visiting my one brother, who was sent to Jamestown State Hospital in North Dakota. They had him drugged so bad, that he was slobbering when the family took him out for a day.

When a person thinks of mental institutions, you think about the movie, “One flew over the Cuckoo Nest.” There is a lot of screaming and abuse that goes on in these mental institutions. Some of these buildings are now haunted because of the abuse. Those that were patients there and eventually died in them, their ghosts are haunting those buildings to this day.

So what is mental illness? The question of how to separate sanity from insanity, of how to even define mental illness, rises above semantics, and above deciding what kind of specialist will care for you or your loved one during a time of intense need.

Psychiatry makes judgements about people-about our personalities, our beliefs, our morality. It is a mirror held up to society in which it is practiced.

Have we been looking at mental illness all wrong?

Once declared insane, you could permanently lose custody of your children, property, and rights to inheritance. Many would remain locked away for a long time, if not the rest of their lives.

Madness has been dogging humanity for as long as humans have been able to record their own history.

Doctors began to slice and dice their way through “insane” brains. They removed living people’s thyroids, women’s ovaries, and men’s seminal vesicles based on half baked theories about the genetic origins of madness.

In America, 32 states passed forced sterilization laws between 1907 and 1937-why not stop the spread of undesirables, they thought, by cutting off their ability to reproduce.

Rosemary Kennedy was a famous person who had that done to her by her parents and put into a mental institution. Her siblings were kept in the dark about it too.

I had a co-worker, I worked with years ago, when she was a child, her mother had the procedure done to her to keep her from reproducing. Knowing her, there was no real reason for her mother to have done that to her.

In 1967, when Ronald Reagan was governor of California, he passed several acts that hastened the demise of the institutions across the state-and the eventually the rest of the country soon followed.

Years ago, anyone with a disability, mental or physical were put away as a disgrace. Some were even aborted. Some adoption agency didn’t want handicapped people to be adopted. Before my Uncle and Aunt got their one son, the adoption agency didn’t want them to adopt him; but thank God, they adopt him anyway. He has Cerebral Palsy; despite being diagnose with that, he is able to do a lot of things.

Even actor John Ritter, has a brother, who also had Cerebral Palsy. Tex Ritter and his wife kept that from John growing up.

I had a sister, who recently passed away, who had dementia. Toward the end of her life, she had drifted back to a childlike state. I witnessed that firsthand. She was older than me, but because of her dementia, she was leaning on me like a child.

Because of witnessing firsthand her dementia, you can’t tell me that Joe Biden doesn’t have dementia himself. Believe me, the signs are there, if no one else want to believe it or not.

I had volunteered in helping Special Olympics bowling tournaments, and believe me, it was privilege to do so. Seeing people with handicap, physical or mental being productive in our society is something special; instead of having them locked away in a mental institution. Some of them even have very strong faith, and to watch them worship is amazing.

I may not have the patient to really work with them full time, because you will need lots of patience to do so. Even though, they may have an illness, they seems to be better off than some of the stupid people out there who are normal but does stupid things.

I’m glad that these mental institutions of the past are closed now and people with handicaps are becoming productive citizens rather than being locked up.

For several years now, news reports have been full of startling breakthroughs in genetic research. Scientists are mapping the human genome, seeking answers to the mystery of life. Some kinds of cloning have become a reality. Specific disease-causing genes have been isolated. We are in the first stages of a history-shaking genetic revolution.

What does your DNA say about you? Like, who are you and where have come from?

DNA is the molecule that carries genetic information for the development and functioning of an organism. It is made of two linked strands that wind around each other to resemble a twisted ladder-a shaped known as a double helix.

The DNA research is also behind cloning of sheep that became very controversial.

The scientific research involving DNA is used in research of finding cure for certain diseases. There is also research involving our DNA involving our heredity. A person who they are related to throughout history. A person can find their long lost relative by taking a DNA test. (or you can just win the Powerball and you will have relatives coming out of the woodworks.) Then you still will need a DNA test to prove it.

My mother told me that I have my real father’s nose. I have been told that I have my mother’s eyes. My mother even told me that I looked like my Uncle John, her older brother, one of the reason my grandmother kind favored me.

Now my mother looked like her sister, Aunt Rosella, and they both looked like grandma. My Uncle Frank looks like my grandfather, from the picture I have seen of him.

I may not have my step-dad’s DNA, but I’m still considered to be his son. Our DNA is not the only thing that make a person. It’s also the culture we were raised in. I was raised by my dad from the time I was 5 years old. He had been more of a dad to me than my real father; even though I don’t have his DNA.

Do you know that churches and businesses also have DNA?

The Dreadnought D-35 guitar was developed in the early 1900’s. It is known for its bold and loud tone. The back of the D-35 is unique, because of the shortage of wide pieces of high quality rosewood, the craftsmen innovatively fit three smaller pieces of wood together, which result in a richer tone.

My mother made the amazing homemade vegetable soup. She threw everything in it but the kitchen sink. Sometimes, she would even add meat. She sometimes would canned the soup in the Fall for the winter. She wouldn’t canned the meat though with it. When she did heat up the soup she canned, she would add the meat.

Much like the United States, it’s considered to be the melting pot. United States is a country of many nations and cultures. We are blended together to make one nation, united we stand-united we fall. It just seems like some of the American people had forgotten this country’s DNA. It seems like we cannot get along anymore. We can’t get pass other opinions. I mean, if we don’t agree with each other, argument arise, causing a rift in this country.

The last time this country was united was after 9/11 in 2001, after the World Trade Center was destroyed. Now, we are so divided, and can’t see eye-to-eye.

It shouldn’t matter what our political, religious, and views over the vaccine are, we should be united with one another. We should learn to get along.

It was only scrap wood, but Charles Hooper saw much more than that. Salvaging old timbers from a long-abandoned corncrib, he sketched some simple plans, felled oak and poplar trees, and painstakingly squared them with his grandfather’s broadax. Piece by piece, he fits together the old lumber with the new to build the beautiful postcard-perfect log cabin, tucked away in the trees of Northwestern Tennessee.

We need to get pass our differences be united with one another like our founding father intended. We are a melting pot of many nations and cultures, with many different opinions. We are blended together much like my family. If my step-dad could accept me as his son without having the same DNA, why can’t the American people learn to accept others despite of their DNA and opinions?

The church I go to is a multi-culture church, and we seems to get along with each others. If my church can do it, why can’t the United States do it once again?

Senator Eugene McCarthy made an attempt to run for President in 1968 against Lyndon Johnson. He was against the Vietnam War at the time. Because of him running for President, Johnson chose not to seek reelection, giving room for Senator Robert F. Kennedy Sr the nod to run for President. At the time, him and Hubert Humphrey were both from Minnesota.

Bobby Kennedy Jr. was compared to Eugene McCarthy when he threw his hat in the run for President against Joe Biden on the Democrats side. Now Bobby Kennedy Jr. is running as an Independent hoping to upset Biden’s attempt for reelection. The Democrats didn’t really want Kennedy, that is why he’s running as an Independent. They call him crazy because he’s against the vaccine. There is even a division within his own family. He was also censored by the Social Media and mainstream news media because of his stance on the vaccine, Covid, and Dr. Nazi Fauci. He stands for freedom also.

I have a hypothetical scenario involving 1968. Before I gives you this scenario, we all know that Robert Kennedy Sr. was assassinated at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California. He was leading in the polls back then and looked like he would had gotten the nomination to run for President against Richard Nixon. Since he was assassinated, he never gotten the chance; so Humphrey got the nomination instead.

Now my hypothetical question is: what if Kennedy wasn’t assassinated? Would he had became President like his brother in John F. Kennedy? Would the Watergate scandal existed? Would Jimmy Carter become President in 1976?

We would never really know; but you wouldn’t want to mess with history anyway. Like the 1980s sci-fi classic, “Back to the Future”, starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, they traveled back in time. In the movie, history was mess with which affected the future.

That’s why it’s so very important to know your history; otherwise we are doom to repeat it. Believe me, history has a tendency to repeat itself.

I just hope that Bobby Kennedy Jr and Donald Trump don’t get assassinated because the Democrats fear both of them. Russia and China will have their political enemies killed just to remain in power. Those 2 are a threat to today’s Democrats agenda.

Donald Trump calls Bobby Kennedy Jr. a smart man. Trump has nothing but respect for Kennedy. I think that it would be an awesome ticket if Trump had Kennedy as his running mate. He would gain some of the Democrats vote, those who doesn’t agree with the radical Left. It will pissed off few people but at the same time, it will show unity.

Instead with Kennedy running as a third party, it could cut in both Trump’s and Biden’s chances of being elected President. A strong third party candidate could possibly do some damage in the Presidential election. Both Kennedy and Trump are fighting for the freedom of the American people. This is why those on the Left compared Bobby Kennedy Jr. runs for President to Eugene McCarthy back in 1968. Biden will not debate both Trump and Kennedy out of fear.

God forbid, if somehow Nikki Haley gets the Republican nomination for President, I will vote third party and vote for Kennedy. Thank God Trump is beating Haley in the primaries.

There is something about Nikki Haley, I do not trust. She said that her mentor was crooked Hilary Clinton. That’s one strike against her. She reminds me of Michelle Bachman from Minnesota. I didn’t care for her either. Democrat millionaires are endorsing her to try to throw a wrench in Trump’s run for President. If they could get her nominated, they would turn around and still vote for Biden in the general election.

This is going to be another interesting election this year. We just need for Nikki Haley to wise up and drop out. Then it could be a 3 person race for President, with Kennedy giving the Independent party a better chance.

The scandal that I’m talking about here is Watergate. Now Watergate was a major political scandal in the United States involving the administration of President Richard Nixon from 1972-1974 that led to Nixon’s resignation .

The scandal stemmed from the Nixon administration’s attempts to cover up its involvement in the June 17, 1972, break-in of the Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington D.C.

During the whole scandal Nixon would denied by saying, “I’m not a crook.”

At the trial, E. Howard Hunt, who had planned the break-in and 4 of the burglars pleaded guilty. G. Gordon Liddy, who helped in the planning, and James McCord, refused to cooperate.

Chuck Colson was an American attorney and political advisor who served as Special Council to President Richard Nixon from 1969 to 1970. He was known as the “hatchet man.” He served 7 months in the federal Maxwell Prison in Alabama. He had a lifechanging conversion because of his stint in prison. He was a born again Christian in 1973 and started a non-profit prison ministry.

On my birthday, Aug. 9, 1974, the year I turned 9, President Nixon resigned as President to keep from being impeach. Shortly after Gerald Ford became President for only 2 short years.

One of the thing that Ford had done that maybe he shouldn’t had done was pardoned Nixon. That may had hurt his chances for seeking reelection for his first full term as President. But he was loyal to Nixon. Was it a mistake?

Sometimes, not being loyal to a former President, like Mike Pence wasn’t to Donald Trump can actually hurt. At the first Republicans debate, Mike Pence was booed because he wasn’t loyal to Trump.

How George Bush Sr. was able to get elected President, was the fact that he rode on Reagan’s coattails and popularity.

Whereas, Al Gore, broke away from Bill Clinton’s popularity when he ran for President in 2000. He tried to disassociate from Clinton’s and his sex scandal.

The big question is: should a Vice-President stand behind a popular president as they seek their own terms or go out on the limb? Should Ford have been loyal to Nixon and pardoned him for his involvement with Watergate?

Even though, Nixon was President for at least 6 years, 2 terms, Watergate hurt his popularity. Whereas, even though, Clinton was impeach for lying and having sex with Monica Lewinsky, he was still more popular than Richard Nixon. Go figured!

I’m not defending Richard Nixon, like I said I was a child during that time. Seeing the Democrats as they are today, a person has to wondered if the break-in at Watergate was stage?

Even though, the Democrats were more normal back then, than they are today. When did the Democrats become crazy Leftist?

Think about it, wiretapping is nothing new. It was done during Watergate and it was done with the Russian hoax, made up by the FBI and the Democrats to slam Donald Trump. They had done it to President Kennedy and President Reagan as well. Even President Obama was somewhat guilty of wiretapping as well. It goes to show that some candidates will stop at nothing to get elected to public office or even reelected , just to keep the power.

In next week, blog, I will asked a “what if” question that may or may not affect Watergate. It will have to deal with the year, 1968 and what happened back then. I will also bring that into this election year as well. Stay tune!!

What is the greatest love story?

Some may say that Romeo and Juliet is one of the greatest love story. Romeo and Juliet is a play written by William Shakespeare. He was widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world’s pre-eminent dramatist.

I have to admit that Romeo and Juliet is a great love story; but I’m not real big on it because of the old English is harder to comprehend than the American English. I had to recite a speech from Julius Caesar for Freshman English class in high school and that wasn’t fun.

Romeo and Juliet was banned from Florida school district due to it’s sexual content. They even tried to do that in North Dakota last year as well. Students will no longer be permitted to read many of Shakespear’s plays due to sexual content.

Who hasn’t read or performed in any Shakespear’s play back in high school? I mean, it’s a high school tradition. You shouldn’t deny our students the opportunity to learn a classic; that is one of the greatest love story.

Back when Shakespear wrote the play Romeo and Juliet in the 16th century, it was a time in which the role of women was not to be a person in their own rights, but to be a wife to their husband and a mother to their children. Back then the role of Juliet was portrayed by a young teenage boy rather than a woman. Now Christians today will frown upon that.

Then there was a movie starring the late Ryan O’Neal and Ali MacGraw. The movie was “Love Story.” It was also one of the greatest love story in the last century. Ali MacGraw played a woman who was dying of cancer and a love interest for Ryan O’Neal’s character. One of the famous line from that movie was, “Love is never have to say you are sorry.”

Years later, that movie became real for Ryan O’Neal when the love of his life, Farrah Faucet came down with cancer and fought a long battle until her death. You could say that Ryan O’Neal lived that love story twice. Once in the movie and once in real life.

Just last year, Ryan O’Neal recently passed away. He is reunited with Farrah Faucet, the love of his life. They lived that love story.

Even though, Elvis and Priscilla marriage didn’t last, they had one of the greatest love story. Elvis loved Priscilla up to his death. He even tried to win her back. She loved him too and that was why she never remarried. She even wants to be buried beside him; even though they were divorce.

Before my folks were married, my step-dad entered the house in North Fargo, where my mother and I were living at the time. My mother thought it was romantic when he sat beside her while she was in bed, and said, “Marry me or you’ll never see me again?”

What do you think? Was it romantic? Was it a romantic proposal or just creepy?

When my mother shared that story and said that she felt that it was romantic, us kids just shook our heads in disbelief. They were married for 40 years before she passed away. Even though, I have gotten a dad and siblings out of it, I would tell my mother that it wasn’t very romantic. She should probably had said, “fine, see you!”

These were just few examples of the greatest love story ever written or told. Do you have your favorite love story? I would love to hear from.

This Valentine’s Day is a time to share and remember the greatest love story, either real or imagined.

First, I want to congratulate the Detroit Lions for getting as far as they did. No one expected it! They almost made history.

I also want to congratulate the Kansas City Chiefs for heading to another Super Bowl. As the Super Bowl is next Sunday, I’m rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs. I just hope that Taylor Swift doesn’t put a curse on them.

As you know, the next man on her radar is Travis Kelso. She goes through men, like I goes through underwear. She’ll dates them and then when they break up, she write songs about them; whether they like it or not. Like Shania Twain sang, “Any Man of Mine , better be proud of me.”

Taylor Swift is a needy person. It comes with the fact that fame came early for her back when she was a teenager, much like LeeAnn Rimes and Tanya Tucker. This is her biggest issues that’s hard to get passed.

I read a letter to the Editor in yesterday’s paper that said, “The trouble with Taylor Swift.” She is totally out of control. She lulled many people into thinking that she is a great person. She needs to check her ego at the door. She’ll probably say to me, “We’re never ever getting back together.” Or “Why do you have to be so mean?”

I’ve seen her concerts twice at the Fargo Dome. It was alright but it wasn’t the best concert I’ve seen. She had her nose so far out of joint that security was so strong around her. No one could get close to her.

Didn’t Travis Kelso heed the warnings about dating Taylor Swift? She’s the one mama warns their sons about getting involved with.

Could it be the poison, Travis Kelso bragged about getting had made it possible to not heed the warnings?

Then again, when a person falls in love, they are blinded by the person’s faults. They can’t see the truth because their heart is too much involved.

Taylor Swift is like Kryptonite to Superman. Some men can become weak in the knees when it comes to her. She is like Delilah to Samson. We all know what happened to Samson. Delilah tricked him into getting a haircut; which took away his strength.

She is like the woman in Scarlette Letter, who had to wear the letter “S” to warns people about who she was.

Believe me, I understand the affect that some woman may have on men. I’ve had a woman who broke my heart and stabbed me in the back. Her name was Theresa. Luckily, I had friends who helped me get over her and the pain of being stabbed in the back along with getting my heart broke.

A warning to Travis Kelso, be on your guard when it comes to Taylor Swift. Don’t let her put a spell on you. Or is it too late for him? I hope that he has good friends that can help him if that relationship doesn’t work out. He’ll need all the help he can get.

I just hope that Taylor Swift won’t put a curse on the Kansas City Chiefs because of her involvement with Travis Kelso. If they lose the Super Bowl because of her, there will be a lot of angry people at him because of her. It won’t be just the fans, it may also be some of the team mates as well.

Go Kansas City Chiefs!! Don’t let the curse of Taylor Swift get you!

In the first 2 parts of the series of “Be a Voice,” I showed how anyone can be a voice no matter who they are. The least likely person can have a voice and make a difference. It doesn’t matter who you are or what your issues may be.

This week in part 3 of this series, I will show how we must look passed a person issues, and see them how they are being used as a voice.

I mentioned that some people finds it difficult to see Donald Trump as being a voice for the American people. I even mentioned last week, Moses was a voice and chosen to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land by God. I mentioned that he had an anger problem and a speech impediment. I even mentioned how I too am a voice for the American people through my blog. Even though, I’m just an average joe with a speech impediment as well.

There was a country singer, Mel Tillis; when he talks he would stutter, but when he sang, you wouldn’t even know that he had a speech impediment as well.

Then there was one of the great pop singer, Whitney Houston. She had one of the beautiful voice when she sang. She could sing a phone book and it would sounds beautiful. But she had some issues that led to her early demised.

Whitney Houston was nicknamed, “the voice.” She was regarded as one of the greatest singers in history. She shared a birthday with me, born August 9, 1963 in Newark, NJ. She died February 11, 2012 at the age of 48 years old of Coronary artery disease because of drugs. She was a teen model on the cover of Seventeen in 1981. She was discovered by Clive Davis, groomed as a gospel singer. She is a first cousin to Dionne Warwick. She married Bobby Brown and they had a daughter. Now Bobby Brown was the one who got her hooked on drugs.

In a Diane Sawyer’s interview, Whitney Houston said, “Crack is cheap. I make too much money to ever smoke crack. Crack is whack.”

One of Whitney Houston biggest hit song was a Dolly Parton hit song. The song was, “I will always Love You.” Because of Whitney singing that song, it was able to become a big pop song as well as a country song by Dolly Parton. I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing that song beside her and Dolly Parton. Vince Gill did it but wasn’t as good.

There isn’t one pop singer who can light a match to Whitney Houston’s powerful voice. The closest one was Fantasia, when she was a contestant on American Idol. She had her issues as well.

Then there is singer from Great Britian, Susan Collins. When you looked at her, She was nothing to look at; but she had such a beautiful voice when she sang for Simon Cowell.

It goes to show that anyone can be a voice for the people. King David was a man after God’s own heart; even though he had sinned when he slept with Batheba, a married woman at the time. He even had her husband killed in battle.

It doesn’t matter what’s in our past or what our issues may be, we can still be used to make a difference.

I know of a Nazarene pastor, Reverend Keith Bundy, who was blind. He was a brilliant preacher.

Some may not like the way I talk because of my speech impediment.

Don’t laugh or judge someone by their personality or how they may looks on the outside. Who knows, by inviting someone who you may not approve of, you may be inviting an angel.

Man will looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart. He knows what is in our heart. We may not approve of certain people but they could be the voice we all need in this time.

You are made just as God made you. You are beautiful and you have a voice that can make a difference.

Trump is seen as part of the problem, making it his biggest obstacles to be seen as a voice for the American people.

Let your voice be heard loud and clear! It doesn’t matter who you are or what issues you may have. I’m making my voice heard through my blogs. You will either like it or hate it.
