When the Queen of Country Music, Loretta Lynn passed away October 4, 2022, Country Music had lost the last of a Country Music legend. She came from the coalmines of Kentucky to rise to fame in country music. Her father was coalminer and she was the oldest daughter and second child born to Clara Marie and Melvin Ted Webb. The family claimed Cherokee heritage on Loretta’s mother’s side. Not only was her father a coalminer, he was also a subsistence farmer. She was named after the film star Loretta Young.

She married Oliver Vanetta “Doolittle” Lynn on January 10, 1948, when she was 15 years old. She was still a child when she got married and soon having kids of her own. It was almost normal back then to do that; whereas, now days, it would be frowned upon as child sexual abuse; since Oliver was of age and recently served a stint in the military.

This was a similarity when my older brother, who was 21 years old when he married his wife-to-be, who was 17 years old when she became pregnant with their first child. The only difference, Loretta’s wedding wasn’t a shotgun wedding like my brother’s wedding.

Another similarity is with my oldest sister, who married right out of high school to get away from home. The reason why my sister got married was because she was seen as just babysitter and housekeeper. I kind of wonder if, by chance, Loretta Lynn felt the same way; thus decided to get married at the age of 15.

Loretta Lynn began singing in local clubs in the late 1950’s. She won a local talent show in Tacoma, Washington, hosted by Buck Owens.

Her first appearance on the Grand ole Opry was in 1960 and was inducted September 25, 1962.

She credited Patsy Cline as her mentor and best friend. She also became best friends with Tammy Wynette. Loretta Lynn first duet partner was with Ernest Tubb.

She was controversial in her days as well because she was true Feminist who also was mother and wife as well. Some people frowned upon her because of some of her songs.

The autobiography movie about her really puts her in the limelight in the ’70’s.

Later on in the 70’s, her sister, Crystal Gayle. soon entered the country music scene as well, following in her big sister’s footstep. Crystal Gayle didn’t have the same success as Loretta though.

Even though, Loretta’s first duet partner was Ernest Tubb, she is more famous singing with Conway Twitty.

Patti Loveless was born Patricia Lee Ramey on January 4, 1957 in Pikeville, Kentucky. She is a distant cousin of Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle.

I haven’t seen or heard any country singer who can light a candle to Loretta Lynn. She is traditional country. Reba can come close though.

The big question is about Loretta Lynn is: did she have daddy’s issues because of marrying a man quite bit older than her? Did she have daddy’s issues because of the songs she sang about her father? And she had few songs about her father too. Or did she just love and respected her father so much?

I mean, she came from a generation, in which children actually respected their parents more than they do now.

Of the older country singers, she was one of my favorites. She will live on in history as the Queen of Country Music. While other singers may come and go.

She has a granddaughters who tried out for the American Idol but didn’t do very well.

This is not about liking Trump or hating him. It’s about what Joe Biden and those on the Left is doing to our Democracy. Justice wasn’t served because the trial was a political sham by those on the Left. Donald Trump didn’t get a fair treatment in New York because they are so far out Left.

Alvin Bragg should be disbarred for this persecution of Trump. Under his watch as District Attorney for New York City, The real criminals like murderers and thief are being able to be on the streets committing crimes after crimes; while all he cares for is a notch under his belt for going after Donald Trump for George Soros and Joe Biden. They both are funding that sham of a trial.

Judge Juan Merchan is a seasoned jurist who is no stranger to Trump’s orbit. His daughter is a big time donor to the Biden’s campaign. He was compromised yet, he didn’t excuse himself from the case. Normally, according to the law, if a judge is compromised, they have to excuse themselves from the case.

He issued a gag order against Trump which is also unconstitutional. He wouldn’t allowed certain witnesses from Trump’s defense team because it would jeopardize the Alvin Bragg’s case. He had a staring contest with another witness for Trump; in which he ordered him to stop or else. Everything he did is grounds for an easy appeal for Trump. Before the closing arguments, he allowed the jury to go home to be with their family for the Memorial Day weekend. Another no-no for such a case. A judge is not suppose to do that. Since Alvin Bragg couldn’t define the actual crime against Trump, Judge Merchan gave a list of trump-up charges and told the jury pick one or all. He should be disbarred as well.

Michael Cohen is a pathological liar and was even proven on the witness stand. He also stole money from Trump. Michael Cohen was the real criminal here.

Since Trump was found guilty, his popularity in the polls had risen even higher. More and more people feels that Trump had gotten a raw deal by our corrupt politicians and legal system. Even the blacks are now endorsing Trump because they know injustice when they sees it.

Bobby Kennedy Jr. calls Trump’s trial profoundly undemocratic. The Democratic Party would rather beat President Trump in the courtroom rather than the ballot box. This will backfire in November. Kennedy’s criticism that the Democratic Party is trying to use the legal system to win the November election echoes GOP support.

The Democratic National Committee called Kennedy a “useful idiot” for his support of Trump.

Because of the verdict, the Republicans had raised more money and support than ever. People who hated Trump are coming in defense of him and our Democracy.

The Democrats under Joe Biden is turning America into Russia, China and the Banana Republic. According to Vivek Ramaswamy, he is ashamed that people here are asking him what the hell is going on. If this was happening in another country, we would say it’s a disgrace; but now it’s happening here in the United States.

When Russian President Putin opponent chose to run against him, Putin had him killed. Not just Russia, but also China and the Banana Republic. The only reason why Biden wouldn’t go that direction, is because he knows deep down there will be a major uprising in this country.

Believe me, there will be one anyway. It will be bigger than January 6 Capital Riot. It will be like the Boston Tea Party prior to the Revolution War when the Colonists decided to overthrow the King of England at that time.

I remember, growing up sitting around the kitchen table and my dad would constantly say, “There will be another uprising like the Boston Tea Party, when the American people will get so fed up with our corrupt government.

If they would persecute Trump, what’s not to say, they wouldn’t persecute Bobby Kennedy Jr. as well. They would probably even do this to Ronald Reagan and John F. Kennedy as well.

This is similar to the Pharisees persecuting Jesus and crucifying Him.

Some may say by saying this and supporting Trump, we are in a cult. If it’s a cult, it’s a cult for our fight for Democracy.

Now Hunter Biden will be in court. I hope to God that Hunter will be found Guilty as well. It may change Joe Biden’s tune a little. Right now, he says, justice was served. Would he say the same thing when Hunter is found guilty? I highly doubt it.

Hunter Biden should be lock up in prison and tortured; so that he would wished he was dead.

In the picture at the top, I’m pointing my finger like Uncle Sam pointed his finger saying, “Uncle Sam needs you!” Well, I’m saying, “Will you join the Trump’s team to take back America from Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats in November, and even now.” Let us send Joe Biden a message from we the people. Both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris should be taken in front of Congress to be impeach we wouldn’t leave until every one of those in Congress vote to impeach both Biden and Harris; and fire his administration.,

I didn’t like Trump at first in 2016; but I’m now more proud to be a Maga Republican. Not just because he was a good President and the economy was better than it is now. But because his fight is also our fight against those who are out to destroy America and our Democracy.

Our forefathers, such as George Washington warned that this would happen, when the government gets too big. They will be corrupted with power; and that is what the Democrats are. I will never vote Democrat. I learned my lesson.

Not just Donald Trump needs you; but so does America needs you! If we don’t stop Biden and his fellow Democrats now, it may be too late.

How Critical Race Theory is burning down the House. How today’s Democrats and teachers are giving America a black eye with this Critical Race Theory and Woke Theory. So for this Memorial Day weekend, I will be talking about this.

In schools and workplaces across the United States, Americans are being indoctrinated with a divisive, anti-American ideology. Critical Race Theory(CRT) is based on cultural Marxism, CRT bullies and demonizes whites while infantilizing and denying agency to blacks, creating a deep racial rift. As Abraham Lincoln famously observed, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” CRT aims to divide the American nation against itself and burn down the house.

We have now reached a point in America where racism with a Marxist twist is state-sanctioned and enforced by our major social institution.

CRT is far from “antiracism,” the term adopted by its proponents. It is rather, explicitly racist, demeaning designated “oppressor” and “oppressed” groups alike, CRT condemns people in the former category for the alleged sins of their birth, compelling them, in practice, to humiliate themselves in absurd, ritualistic fashions. CRT infantilizes and denigrates people in the latter category, describing them as hapless victims of a society that belongs to someone else.

Whether it is against whites or blacks, racial discrimination is counter to who we are as Americans, and it violates state and federal civil rights laws as well as the principles enshrined in the 14th Amendment’s Equal Protection clause.

Critical Race Theory sees minorities, especially black Americans, as victims of “systemic racism”: racism permeating a vast network of impenetrable institutional structures and cultural stereotypes-all created by whites to give themselves unearned advantages.

Critical Race Theory now threatens to undo this great work and to drag our country backward towards racial antipathy separation.

Under CRT-inspired instruction in K-12 schools, American children are now taught to view racism as the cornerstone of American society. They are taught that whites dominate a racial hierarchy in America and exercise power as a group.

In other words, the teachers are indoctrinating our children, instead of properly teaching them as they did in the past.

The simple truth is that America is being destroyed from within and very few of us presently understand what is happening or know how to fight back in an effective manner.

One of the thing that the shut-down because of Covid was, it open the eyes of parents in what their children is being taught in our schools. Since they see it now, parents are standing up at the school board meeting against the school board and teachers; and being called, “Domestic Terrorists” by Joe Biden and the FBI.

CRT demeans people of color by denying them ownership of and control over their own lives.

Critical Legal Studies(CLS) uses the law to attack society (“hierarchical structures”), going after such things as procedural equality, market freedom, property rights, and indeed, rights per se, consistent with its opposition to individualism.

CRT shocks the sensibilities of many Americans, especially those who hold to traditional American values and principles. CRT proponents bully, shame, and intimidate K-12 school children no less than adults forced into diversity training.

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, and general intolerance directed toward whites, Christians, men and other groups deemed “oppressors” by their attackers likewise fit this bill.

Under CRT they have this new history under the guise of the 1619 Project, which distort American history. They even have a new math, in which the old math is considered racist.

I have been out of school now for 40 years, as my 40th class reunion is coming up this summer. When I was in school, every morning we would say the Pledge of Allegiance in elementary school; which I heard that they don’t do anymore. Students respected their teachers and teachers actually inspired their students. They were properly taught the basic and given the tools needed in life.

I used to be in favor of public schools over home schools; but not anymore. I believe kids need the social interactions of other kids; but they don’t need to be indoctrinated by our teachers. I’m now leaning more towards home schooling our kids instead. That way they will be properly taught and not indoctrinated.

Even though, I went to public school, I came close in going to a private Catholic school; but since my mother went to the Catholic school in Wild Rice and hated it, she chose not to do that to her kids.

Teachers are demanding better pay. I say, “How about they first teach our children the basic 3 R’s; rather than indoctrinating them with this CRT and Woke?” In other words, they should actually do their jobs.

When you elect school board members, make sure that they do not believe in CRT and will not allow it in our schools to indoctrinate our children. Not every parents can afford to homeschool their children, because they both have to work to make a living.

So you see this CRT is giving a black eye to America. Not just CRT but also Woke Theory. They both are a product of today’s Democrats and the Liberals running our school boards. We need teachers who would stand up against the teaching of CRT and Woke. We need parents to wake up to the fact that their children are being indoctrinated; similar to what Hitler did during World War 2. We need to bring back the Pledge of Allegiance in our schools as well.

Our children are the future, and if they are being indoctrinated, America will cease to exist! Then all those who fought and died for our freedom will be lost forever. There will be no reason to honor those on Memorial Day. It will just be a 3-day weekend instead.

As I was reading this book, I had to laugh myself and think how can those promoting Wokeness be so stupid? It’s too stupid to be taken seriously by normal decent people. Anybody with half a brain wouldn’t come up with this Wokeness that those on the Left had.

Being woke means waking up to the cause. What cause? Every far-left, radical, communist, Marxist cause we can think of. Wokeness isn’t a private religion you can keep to yourself.

Being woke means: realizing the problems in your life are not your fault. Blame everyone else for your problems. This is pretty much sums up social workers or unqualified counselors, who tells you to blame your parents for your troubles. Believe me, I have witnessed that first hands with social workers going through counseling myself.

Worshiping the planet because humanity is evil. Rejecting organized religion and mindlessly believing the Left. Finding racism, sexism, and hatred in everything.

Brainwashing our kids to hate life and be miserable. This is what they are teaching our kids in school today.

Rioting-sorry; peacefully protesting- in the name of justice. Even though, they are destroying public property in the process. You see it on college campuses and you see it in major cities.

Never; ever being satisfied and having happiness, but instead constantly complaining about everything.

It’s important to remember that your problems are not your fault. They are the fault of the oppressor class: your parents, teachers, people with a different skin color than you, Anyone who disagrees with your woke worldview.

Class is how much money you have, how cool of a car you drive, and whether or not you have one of those fancy fridges that dispenses ice and water right from the door. To the woke: poor person is good and rich person is bad.

Any religion is acceptable except Christianity.

Being woke is all about diversity. They love people of all nationalities and want the whole world to just be a big melting pot of all cultures, creeds and nations. Except of course, Americans. America is a disgusting place filled with white nationalist who could learn a thing or two from more advanced socialist countries like Venezuela or the Soviet Union. They even side with the Hamas over Israel and America.

Race is a social construct created by white people to excuse their oppression of black and brown bodies.

Many of us who go about our lives thinking we don’t hate people for their race are actually secret racist. You breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide. You say you’re not racist. You judge people not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. You only like vanilla ice cream. You’ve mispronounced someone’s name before-especially a person of color. You believe 2+2 equals 4. In other words, they believe in the new math.

How to be a Feminist: Don’t get married. Get an abortion! Have lots of cats or dogs if you prefer. Speak in a very loud, high-pitched voice. Shave your head or dye your hair a neon color. Take up some casual witchcraft. Affirm that trans women are women.

They talk about pronouns.

America’s fake founding: let’s make a country that has liberties. America’s real founding: Let’s make a country that will be more hateful and oppressive.

They believed that Abraham Lincoln was a racist; even though he was responsible for freeing the slaves after the Civil War.

They are easily offended by everything.

They believe that Jesus was woke and want to make churches woke as well.

They follow the science and believe in the like of Dr. Nazi Fauci. They believe that the vaccine is a cure-all. They take what their doctors says seriously instead of seeking a second or third opinions.

They believe what causes climate change are: Capitalism, Whiteness, cow farts, you existing, racism, homophobia, low taxes, freedom, hamburgers, and the nuclear family.

They believe to combat climate change we must: kill someone, get an abortion, eat bugs, switch from plastic bags to paper bags, drive an electric car, pay more taxes.

They believe that our naive parents and grandparents were totally lame, and they tried to change the world by being nice to their neighbors, going to church, loving their families, and raising their kids right.

They vote to bring about utopia.

These are just some of the craziest ideas coming from those promoting Wokeness. You’ll have to read that book or check out The Bees online to learn more.

The world has gone completely crazy! No wonder I prefer a cabin in the woods and to live off the land.

I won’t tell you companies or celebrities who have gone woke because that is for a future blog.

I hope you see how stupid those on the Left had become with this Wokeness. Believe me, this is not a joke. It’s too stupid to be a joke. It’s a joke that no one is laughing at.

Not only do we celebrate mothers on this Mother’s Day; it’s also fishing opening season for Walley fishing. If you are anything like me, you may wonder why?

I loved my mother, but I also love to fish. So when the government puts both on the same weekend, you wondered what the government was thinking? Then again, anything the government does, doesn’t make a bit of sense.

Mother’s Day should be a special day to honor your mother and the sacrifice they made for you. They carried you 9 months inside their womb. They took care of you when you were a child. They didn’t count the cost. Mothers look after you even when you became an adult. Even mothers who are not with us anymore, still watches over us through their spirit.

Could it be that by putting both on the same weekend, fathers would give mothers a break by taking the kids fishing?

I mean, who doesn’t love to go fishing? You can catch and release or you can catch and eat; whatever you prefer. There’s nothing like a good fish fry; especially by the lake when the fish you caught is still fresh.

It’s hunting, fishing and loving everyday. If I could make a nickel off turning them bass, never worry about the price of gas, I’d be wheeling and dealing and sitting there reeling them in.

There’s nothing like being on the lake fishing. I would rather fish than golf any day. It’s very relaxing just fishing on the lake, being one with nature. It’s so peaceful; unless you have stupid people out there making waves with their speedboat. Those people doesn’t understand being one with nature. All they care about is destroying nature and everything around it.

I’ll never forget when my dad would take us fishing. It was the best time we had with him. It didn’t matter what kind of fish we caught either, Sunfish, Walley, Northern, etc.

I even remember the family going up to Canada on a fishing trip before we needed a passport or birth certificate. We even went fishing at the Lake of the Woods; and the only way to get there was going up to Canada first and then coming down on the tip of Minnesota. I even remembered one time, dad got mom in the boat with us as we were fishing up in Canada. That was the year, I caught an eel. Someone from afar shouted, “they’re good eating!” But my dad ended up cutting the line as the eel was close to the boat instead of bringing it in the boat. Good family memories I would forever cherished.

As Brad Paisley sang in “I’m gonna miss her, he was talking about going fishing instead of spending time with wife/girlfriend. In this blog, I will mention, how I miss my mother now that she has been gone for around 12 years.

As Trace Atkins sang, “You’re going to miss this.”

Treasure the moments you have with your mother while she’s alive. When she’s gone, you will surely miss her.

My parents weren’t the kind to go out on a date to be alone with each other. They were more like to spend it with the family, doing things together as a family, creating memories for us kids. Memories are so much better than actual pictures.

Even though, my mother is gone, I believe that her spirit is watching over me. At times, I feels her presences. I believe that what saved me when I was in a car accident was the fact of three reasons: seatbelt, the airbag, and my mother’s spirit; as her spirit put her arms in front of me before the crash.

I love to fish and I love my mother. I missed my mother very much.

Who haven’t heard of Paul Harvey? I grew up listening and watching him on the evening local news at 6pm. He would closed out the news with the rest of the story. If you ever noticed in some of my blogs, I would make references to him. I was fascinated with him and his stories. He was a true journalist, who actually done his research to give you the facts, just the facts. I want to be that kind of blogger, like Paul Harvey before there was actually blogs back in his days.

As Paul Harvey would say, now the rest of the story.

Paul Harvey was born September 4, 1918 in Tulsa, Ok. He passed away February 28, 2009 in Phoenix, AZ. He was an American radio broadcaster for ABC News Radio. He broadcast news and comment on mornings and mid-days on weekdays and at noon on Saturday and also his famous “The Rest of the Story” segments. From 1951 to 2008, his programs reached as many as 24 million people per week.

Paul Harvey was best known as one of the most widely followed radio and television news commentators. He showed an interest in radio during childhood and in high school was a champion orator.

Paul Harvey News was carried on 1,200 radio stations, and on 400 American Forces Network stations, and in 300 newspapers. You can even catch his rest of the story on YouTube.

He attended Tulsa Central High School, where he 2 years ahead of future actor Tony Randall. Paul Harvey’s teacher, Isabelle Ronan was impressed by his voice.

By June1944, he began broadcasting from the ABC affiliate WENR.

The US attorney for Illinois empanel a grand jury to consider an espionage indictment; in which he went on the air to suggest he was being set up.

He had gone public in the late 1940’s and early 1950’s. He debut on November 16, 1952, when he began a 15 minute newscast on ABC.

To this day, there is no one who can light a match to Paul Harvey’s true Journalist ability. He deserve a praise for being a pioneer in the field of Journalism. People like him and Walter Cronkite actually had integrity when it came to reporting the news. He gave you the facts and kept his Conservative views to himself. He had integrity and actually did his research before giving his reports to his listeners.

I strive to be more like Paul Harvey when it comes to writing my blog. I want to be able to give you the facts along with my opinions to help you make the right decision. If somehow some of the facts in my blog isn’t correct, I apologize for it. I pledge to make sure to do my research much like Paul Harvey did, and true journalists should do. I strive to give you: who, what, why, where, when, and how, as I learned in studying journalism in college.

Not many journalists today is willing to do that. Most of them are bias; and they are not supposed to be. They are more of glorified blogger rather than a journalist. I don’t care what news station you may listen or watch.

I may watched Fox news, but I also watch my local ABC news stations. I want to get the full story, the rest of the story. That way, I can make the right decision. As a good reporter or lawyer, we must get all the facts, not just what certain news stations want to give us. That is the job of a good journalist and/or blogger must do.

I don’t think that Paul Harvey would be too proud of the news media right now. He would probably say that they have lost their ways and became too bias.

Even though, I may be a Conservative blogger like Paul Harvey was a Conservative, I try to give you the facts, just the facts; so you can make a rational decision.

The internet can be a tool for human trafficker and for those looking for a mate. Who ever had contact with someone from another country from someone looking for a way out of their country by marrying someone from the United States? Years ago, I had received e-mails from women from Russia trying to hook up with me to get out of Russia. They wanted men to pay for them to come to the United States, and they will become their wife. Not just Russia, but the Philippines as well.

We all know that the oil boom brought prosperity to North Dakota. But do know that it also brought human trafficker to the Western part of the state as well?

If you are thinking, “we do not have trafficking in North Dakota…you are not alone. Common misconceptions lead people to believe human trafficking is something that happens in another state, larger cities or across the globe. However, human trafficking affects every community in the United States across age, gender, ethnicity, and socio-economic backgrounds.

Individuals are advertised for sex online and trafficked out of local and rural hotels and homes. They are forced to work long hours on a rural farm. This may include the withholding of personal identification documents if they are from another country. They may also be withheld food, water, money and medical treatment. Labor traffickers may make threats against the worker’s lives or the lives of their love ones. Survival sex is the exchange of goods, like food or shelter for sexual act. Parents/Guardian trading their child for sex to obtain drugs and alcohol. This happens behind closed doors.

Very much like slavery was before the Civil War!

We all know about Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking and his island he done his business from. We know about who was on the guest list to Epstein’s Island. I won’t go into the list of famous people involved with Jeffery Epstein’s sex trafficking because that’s another blog. Besides you already know some who are on the list anyway.

The latest celebrity to be under investigation for human sex trafficking is Sean P. Diddy Comb.

Now let’s go south to the Border. Not only does the open border brings illegal immigrants into the United States, it also brings drugs and guns illegally. The cartels is also human trafficking these immigrants into the United States as well.

Human trafficking meets human smuggling at the Southern Border. This one of the reason President Trump stresses the need for a border wall to stop human trafficking.

Human trafficking is defined by the U.S. State Department as a crime involving the exploitation of an individual for the purposes of compelled labor or a commercial sex act through the use of force, fraud, or coercion.

The excuse that some of those in Washington used for not securing our Southern Borders is: the United States need people to do the job that no one here would do for less money. Some excuse, ha?

Some of the illegal immigrants coming across the borders were in prisons in their home countries. Their government are releasing them in hoping that they will come to the United States and become our problems. The cartels are helping them in getting across the borders as well.

So you can see that Joe Biden is on the Cartel’s payroll, so to speak. He is their employee of the year. It’s the President’s job to secure the border, and Joe Biden is failing at that. He is as guilty at human trafficking as Jeffery Epstein and P. Diddy Combs.

This is another reason why we must secure our borders. We have to do our part in stopping human trafficking from getting out of hand. We must stop the cartels once and for all. I’m glad that I didn’t get suckered in when some of these Russian women was pleading with me to help them to escape Russia and come to the United States. Believe me, it was a tempting offer. Luckily, I didn’t have the money to do that.

It’s time to secure our borders and stop the cartels from human trafficking. Even Bobby Kennedy Jr. says the same thing. If Joe Biden won’t do it, than he got to go in November.

I don’t know about you, but when I was in school years ago, we were taught about Haiti. I first learned about Haiti through the school lunch program at school. I was taught to be grateful and to eat what is on our plate, because there are people starving in Haiti and other countries.

These last few years, I have learned even more about Haiti through my church. Bridgepointe Community Nazarene Church has a good pastor who came from Haiti. Since he understands the plight of those in needs, he started a church pantry as an outreach in Fargo-Moorhead.

This is just one of the things Bridgepointe Community is doing as an outreach. I will mention the church’s connection with Haiti as well.

Haiti is a Caribbean country that shares the island of Hispaniola with the Dominican Republic to its east. Though it’s still recovering from the 2010 earthquake, many of Haiti’s landmarks dating to the early 19th century remain intact.

The capital of Haiti is Port-au-Prince.

The official languages are Haitian Creole and French.

Haiti is east of Cuba and Jamaica; and south of The Bahamas.

We all know about Cuba and Fido Castro, a dictator of Cuba, who kept the people there poor and under his thumb.

We also know about The Bahamas as being a hangout for the rich and famous.

The island of Haiti was claimed by Spain after Christopher Columbus discovered it. After the 17th century, the island ceded to France in 1697. The French colonists established sugarcane plantations, worked by enslaved persons brought from Africa.

The Haitians scramble to survive, seeking food, water and safety as gang violence chokes the capital.

The United Nation says deaths rising sharply as gangs vie for power in Haiti; after overtaking the capital a couple months ago.

There is a do not travel to Haiti warning right now. The security situation is volatile. Violent crime is common, including murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, assault, sexual assault and carjacking.

Haiti is the poorest country in the Americas and one of the poorest in the world. The latest official poverty estimated suggested that over 6 million Haitians lived below the poverty line of US $2.41 per day and more than 2.5 million fell below the extreme poverty line of US $1.12 per day .

Gangs united to overthrow the remainder of the government, releasing more than 4,000 prisoners and causing violence in Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince. Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry has announced that he will resign once a transitional presidential council has been created. Many families have been forced to flee their homes, seeking safety with very few safe places to go.

A long-simmering crisis in Haiti has escalated over the last few weeks, resulting in unprecedented spikes in gang violence which have shut down the country’s airports, disrupted movement of people and goods, and displaced over 362,000 people inside the country, including 33,000 newly displaced.

The Leftist news media here in the United States and the those on the Left says that they shouldn’t have overthrown the capital. The reason for them saying that is because they are so in favor of the corrupt government. They don’t see anything wrong with the government. It goes to show that when you have Socialism government, it leaves the people poor and the government rich and powerful. Anyone who tries to stop them; they go after hard.

What’s going on in Haiti right now is a lesson for us in America to learn. This is why we need to stand against our corrupt government we have in Washington; especially those on the Left. This is why I will continue speaking out against those who wants to destroy America.

Now back to the other connection with Haiti and Bridgepointe Community. Through the Nazarene church and United Hearts for Haiti, we have started a church in our pastor’s home town, where he came from. We also started a technical trade school in that same town as well. People have gone there for a Work & Witness trip to help build the church and school.

I’m so glad for the connection I have with Haiti. It helps me understand more than what I was taught back when I was in school. This gives me a heart for mission and a heart for the people of Haiti as well. I stand behind them!

PRAY FOR THE PEOPLE OF Haiti!!

For those who are around my age and from North Dakota and near Fargo have experienced culture shock. When I was younger, Fargo was a much different city to live in. There was less crime and more normal people. There wasn’t that much difference races and culture, as there is today. It was much like the movie “Fargo;” which was filmed in Brainerd, MN. That movie was a satire of how the people of Fargo lives and talk. You could say that Hollywood was poking fun at Fargo with that movie.

That movie was fiction but culture shock is not.

What some may see as being racist, may only be culture shock. If you are not used to someone from a different culture, we could come across as being indifferent to other cultures or lifestyles. It’s because we don’t understand other cultures and/or people’s lifestyle choice.

Believe me, I’m not racist or indifferent about others life choices. North Dakota was considered to be in the stone age with a lot of things. North Dakota is one of the last state to move into the 21st century.

Just like the baby boomers and older generations, they are easily shell shocked in their way of thinking. Generation X, my generation is the generation that slowly sees changes in our way of thinking. Even though, I’m so close to being a baby boomer.

When my family moved from West Fargo to the farm in Rollag, south of Hawley, Minnesota, and we went to school in Hawley, it was a bit of a culture shock for us 2 youngest kids. The school and the town of Hawley was different to what we came from in West Fargo, or even Fargo. The kids were different too.

Even though I was culture shock, I have to admit, I see myself as a small town country boy now. To me, Hawley was and is my hometown. The farm is the ground, I grew up on. Hawley is where I got a better education than I did in West Fargo school system. I may had hated the moved back then; but I’m glad to have that experience of living in a small town such as Hawley.

There wasn’t hardly anyone with a different culture in Hawley; but one exchange student from the Philippines. He was taken in by a classmate’s family of mine. Could you imagine the culture shock that he went through? Probably more than what I went through. I graduated with him.

Like I said earlier, I grew up on a farm south of Hawley, in Rollag. It was like going back in time. The people there was really in the stone age and unacceptable of certain culture and lifestyle. I have a book that I’m in process of typing up in hope to get it published, called, “Rollag Hills.” Even though, that book is a novel, it depicts life in Rollag.

The older members of Rollag Lutheran church seems to control the pastor there. When the pastor was doing his job when he asked if the daughter of one of the family, if she was pregnant, and that was why she was getting married, he was immediately asked for resignation. It happened in the ’80’s; and it goes to show how behind time they were.

Another example was when a mixed-raced couple was living in Rollag. The older generation, my folks included thought it was horrible. They felt bad for any children they would have.

Or when a young woman was sexually assaulted and raped. The older generation blamed her because they felt that she was dress inappropriately.

These are just some of examples of people from a different generation being culture shock and making false accusations.

Just like a family who has a member who is a homosexual. Some are quick to condemn them for their lifestyle choices. They are quick to disown them as well. I have a cousin, who is gay, and believe me, there is members in my family who is condemning him for his lifestyle choice. They try to be accepting of him but deep down they want nothing to do with him. And now he is missing and no one knows if he is dead or alive. He’s my cousin and I love him despite of his decision.,

Some of these family wants to send anyone who is a homosexual to camp to de-program, camp set up by Michelle Bachmann. They think that they can pray the gay away.

I remembered one summer, when us two youngest ones went to Minneapolis for the weekend with an older sister. That was a culture shock for us as well. We saw people of different cultures and race. Even going to a bigger city than Fargo was enough of a shock to our system. The first night there we went drinking and stop at a White Castle afterward. When my brother-in-law and I was sitting in the back of his truck, he knocked on the window to get his wife, my sister to hurry up and leave out of fear. But it was probably more culture shock than anything.

Back in 2001, while driving past Chicago, I was a bit culture shock, and to this day I hated Chicago. While driving by it on the interstate, I reached over to make sure that the car doors were locked, out of fear.

I didn’t go through much culture shock when I went to NDSU; even though I met an exchange student from South Africa. Maybe because Fargo was still somewhat normal than it is today.

For some reason, I didn’t have much culture shock when I went to Indianapolis for a work & witness. Even though, I have encountered people from different culture and countries there.

There was a woman, I knew, and became friends with of a different race. Some thought she was a girlfriend. I even have a friend who is a Christian now; and he is from Iran. His name is Fred. He still got family in Iran and some are Muslims. They don’t have much to do with him because he’s a Christian.

So you see, I’m not racist. The church I’m a member of is a multi-national and multi-cultural church.

Sometimes, it’s not being a racist but rather it’s being culture shock instead. If a person isn’t used to another culture or someone with a different lifestyle than ours, we come across as being indifferent of them.

We are all brothers and sisters in the Lord. We must learn to accept one another and get pass any issues that differs from our own. We must learn to get along! We live in a nation of melting pot.

Not all of us talked like in the movie, “Fargo.” That movie is just a satire, being poked fun of by people of Hollywood.

Last summer, while at camp at Lake Geneva, at Alexandria, MN, there was a missionary from South Africa that brought back memory of the first time I encountered someone from South Africa. It was 1984, and I was going to NDSU. During the ’80’s Apartheid was going strong in South Africa. This person was an exchange student from South Africa and he was staying at University Lutheran Center; since they was sponsoring him, the Lutheran Church. He was the first person of a different race and culture I encountered once I graduated from high school.

Most young people today probably don’t know what Apartheid really is. I hope to help people get an understanding of what Apartheid is and how a similar thing is going on here in the United States.

The term “apartheid”, an Afrikaans word, derived from the French term “mettre a part”, literally translated to separating, setting apart. Apartheid is a policy that is founded on the idea of separating people based on racial or ethnic criteria. Racial segregation, especially a policy of racial segregation formerly practiced in the Republic of South Africa.

The best explanation of Apartheid is: The Apartheid (1948-1994) in South Africa was a racial segregation under the all-white government of South Africa which dictated that non-white South Africans (a majority of the population) was required to live in separate areas from whites and use separate public facilities, and contact between the 2 groups.

It was the year 1948 that Apartheid started. It was the election of the Nationalist Party in 1948 that marked the beginning of legalized racism’s harshest features called Apartheid.

The crime against humanity of apartheid means inhuman acts of a character similar to those referred to in paragraph 1 of Article 7, committed in the context of an institutionalized regime of systematic oppression and domination by one racial group over any other racial groups.

Apartheid was a system for keeping white people and nonwhites separated in South Africa.

Under the administration of the South African president F. W. de Klerk, legislation supporting apartheid was repealed in the early 1990’s and a new constitution-one that enfranchised blacks and other racial groups-was adopted in 1993.

In addition to Mandela and his fellow ANC prisoners release, the white government announces a package of reforms that include lifting the ban on the African National Congress and other Black groups. Mandela leads the negotiations with the government to end apartheid.

Nelson Mandela wound up spending 27 years in prison for leading the African National Congress, which opposed apartheid policies that kept South Africa’s black residents segregated, often in inhumane conditions.

Amid growing domestic and international pressure and fears of racial civil war, President F.W. de Klerk released Nelson Mandela in 1990. They led efforts to negotiate an end to apartheid, which resulted in the 1994 multiracial general election in which Mandela led the ANC to victory and became president.

Fast forward to today and similar thing is happening involving our Democracy; which is at stake. Under Joe Biden, he is weaponizing the FBI to keep Donald Trump off the election ballots. A similar thing is also happening to Bobby Kennedy Jr as well. Those on the Left are just so afraid of both Trump and Kennedy.

Donald Trump has a bunch of legal battles because of Joe Biden and the FBI under him. Yet, he is fairing very high in the polls with the American people; much like Nelson Mandela did in South Africa. The American people hated seeing what those on the Left is doing to our Democracy.

With Bobby Kennedy Jr. he first ran for President as a Democrat; but because of those on the Left, he was forced to runs as an Independent. Those on the Left is fighting to keep him off the ballot as well. They don’t even want to give him security. Anyone who runs for president is entitled to securities. He too is fairing better than Joe Biden in the polls.

Both Trump and Kennedy are fighting for the American people, democracy and our freedom to vote for whoever we may choose. That is the American way! This is so similar to the Apartheid in South Africa. It’s our god given rights as American citizens to vote for whoever we choose. They fought for this democracy in South Africa to end apartheid; now those on the Left is fighting to stay in power against anyone who may oppose them. It just happens to be Trump and Kennedy right now.

Without the impartial rule of law, there is no true democracy or moral governance. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. calls Joe Biden a threat to democracy. Joe Biden is a bigger threat to democracy than Donald Trump according to Bobby Kennedy Jr.

Kennedy wants a fair election by letting the American people make the decision on who should be president, not those on the Left and those in power. He stands by Trump as well as the American people; even though, he is running for president himself.

So you can see how this year election is similar to Apartheid in South Africa; except for the racial context. Those on the Left is separating anyone who may disagree with them and taking away our democracy and freedom. They want to remain in power and will stop at nothing to do so. We, the American people must stands our grounds against them. It’s our god given rights as American citizens; that our forefathers fought for, and our those in military also fought and died for. Don’t let them take away our rights as free American citizens. Don’t let them destroy our democracy. I will continue to stand up and fight. I will do this through my blogs as well.
