I know I’m late with this Father’s Day blog but I somehow got the date mixed-up, so sorry. As I rated the top TV mothers for Mother’s Day blog, I will do the same with TV dads. Some of the top TV dads may surprised you a little. You may wondered why they are on the list because of the stars reputation. No one is perfect! As my mother would say, “If I was perfect, I be in heaven rather than hell on earth.

The #1 TV dad goes to Bill Cosby from the Cosby Show. To some this may come as a shock; because just few years ago, Bill Cosby was falsely accused of raped by women wanting not just money but to make a name for themselves. If you ever watched the Cosby Show or even saw his Saturday morning cartoons, you’ll understand why he is #1, despite of the scandal.

At the #2 spot, it goes to Mike Brady, portrayed by Robert Reed. He would of had the #1 spot but Bill Cosby took it away. Once again, another surprised for you. Robert Reed held a dark secret while filming the Brady Bunch. That secret was, he was a homosexual; even though he was married and had a daughter of his own. I picked him because I grew up on the Brady Bunch and wished my family was more like the Brady Bunch.

Coming in at #3 goes to Charles Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie. He was portrayed by Michael Landon. He didn’t set a perfect example in real life; but his portrayal of Charles Ingalls made him top TV dads. He also had a role model himself in our #4 TV dads. That goes to Lorne Greene from Bonanza. Michael Landon worked with Lorne Greene on Bonanza; so he learned from one of the best. Lorne Greene was so good at playing a father type role, that he played similar roles later on in life.

Another surprise comes in at #5 goes to Alan Thicke from Growing Pains. His character on Growing Pains made him a good role model; even though he may lived up to it off the show. He was married to actress/singer Gloria Loring from Days of our Lives. They even co-wrote songs together some for TV shows. They had sons together as well. One of their son is Robin Thicke; who is splitting image of Alan Thicke.

At #6, it goes to Tim Allen. Some people in Hollywood may not approve because he is a Conservative Republican; but he was able to play a father very well on Home Improvement and later on with Last Man Standing. He also had criminal past before making it big as a comedian, TV, and movie star.

Now at #7 it goes to Ed O’Neill from Marriage with Children. Even though that show depict true family dysfunction; he was still able to make the list. Later on in life, he went to starred in Modern Family. His character on Modern Family had some similarity with Al Bundy. He was just perfect for that role.

Another surprised goes to Blake Carrington on Dynasty. He was portrayed by the late John Forsythe. You may go, ha, Blake was an oil tycoon, how can be a top TV dad. Well the answer is simple, he was also a family man who loved his children and his second wife, Krystal. He even loved is one son, Steven Carrington; who was gay. Now John Forsythe in the ’60’s starred in the “Bachelor Father;” which I don’t know much about. He also played the voice of Charlie in Charlie Angels. He comes in at #8.

At #9, comes Dick Van Patten from 8 is Enough. He was a family man on the show with 8 kids. A lot of kids for being made in the ’70’s and ’80’s

Rounding it off at is John Ritter from 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughters. That was his last show before he passed away.

I know we cannot forget Archie Bunker from All in the Family; even though his character was a bigot.

Who is your top TV dads? Do you agree with this list? Love to hear from you.

There’s more to be proud of than what gay pride month. In this blog, I will be talking all a person can be proud of. At the same time, I will not downgrade the gays being proud and gay; that’s their choice. We all have that rights to choose to be who we are. It’s our freedom to be who we are. I’m proud of the freedom we have to be who we want to be.

There’s a story that my daddy tells religiously like clockwork every time he sees an opening in a conversation about the way things used to be. Us kids just roll our eyes as he would talked. Sometimes, we couldn’t get away fast enough.

My step-dad may not been perfect, but at least I’m proud to be his son. He did more for me than my real father. He raised me from the time I was 5 going on 6 years old. He was the only dad I knew. Some kids never had a dad around. I’m proud to call him daddy.

I’m proud of our veterans, who fought and some even died for our country. I’m proud of our military. I never served but I’m proud for those who did. Whenever the opportunity comes up, I will say thanks for their service.

I’m proud of the American flag. I will gladly and proudly stand up to salute the American flag. Whenever I see someone choosing not to stand up for the flag; it’s make me very angry. I remembered back in school, standing up for the Pledge of Allegiance every morning before class begin. Now, they don’t do that anymore in our schools. They need to bring that back in our schools.

Whenever I see rioters burning the American flags in protest; it’s pissed me off. We live in a country where we are free to protest but we do not have the rights to burn the American flags and/or destroy private or public property. Whoever is caught burning the American flag should get jail time.

I’m proud of the 10 commandments and the Bible. At one time there was a 10 commandments monument outside the Fargo Public library and the old City Hall in Fargo, North Dakota. It had been taken down. It should be put back. They should put back the 10 commandments in our schools as well. The moment they took the Bible, prayers, 10 commandments and the American flag out of our schools; there have been more school shootings.

I’m proud of our police. They have a job to do, to protect us. Yet, there are those on the Left who want to de-fund the police. Whenever I get the chance when I see the police, I thanked them for their service.

I’m proud of those who risked their lives daily during the Pandemic. When everyone else were forced to stay home during Covid, they went to work saving lives. I had to go-to work everyday during the Pandemic.

I used to be proud of our teachers; but I’m not anymore. If the teachers actually did their job and taught what they are supposed to instead of teaching Critical Race theory. I’m proud of those who done what was right. If the teachers would teach rather than indoctrinate our students then I can be proud of them. They do not deserve a raise and/or our respect.

This past Saturday was something to be proud of. I’m talking about the parade and celebration in Washington DC in honor of the army 250th anniversary. I saw how beautiful it was. It made me proud to be an American. It was such a proud moment for America. I cannot understand why those on the left can be so disrespectful. It was very Patriotic and that is something to be proud of. I was all choked up when I saw it.

When did the Democrats become so hateful, disrespectful and unpatriotic? At one time, the Democrats were patriotic, what happened to their patriotism? Do they actually hate America that bad?

I have to admit that I’m proud of President Donald Trump. I haven’t been proud of our Presidents since President Reagan. I was never proud of Joe Biden and George W. Bush. I wasn’t proud of Bill Clinton when he made a mockery of the Oval office when he had oral sex with Monica Lewinsky.

Parents should be proud of their children no matter what they do in life or what their grades are in school. Kids will be kids. Parents mustn’t compared their kids over the grades they get in school. Each kids are unique. I was compared to my sister when it came to our grades on our report cards.

When a child mess up and misbehave, a parent shouldn’t stop loving and being proud of them. A parent shouldn’t stop loving of being proud their kids if they happened to be gay either. Yet,some parents would not want anything to do with their kids if they choose to be gay.

I have a cousin who is gay and some of his siblings and other family members don’t want anything to do with him. They disowned him. As they are getting older and death seems to be knocking on their door, then they have a change of heart. They pushed him away and now they want to know how he is doing.

I’m proud of my family despite of it being dysfunctional. I’m proud of my parents even though they weren’t perfect. There are some children who didn’t have a mom or dad. There are some who didn’t have brothers and sisters. I started out as an only child but when my mother married my step-dad, I became the youngest of 7 Kids.

I’m proud that I came from a big family with lots of cousins. I’m proud that I was raised pretty much with my cousins. There was 2 cousins I didn’t knew at all. I even had second cousins that I was closed to, being that most of my cousins were quite a bit older than me.

I’m proud of the lesson I learned as a child. I’m glad that I was disciplined when I misbehaved. Children today are not disciplined. They have no respect for others and for their elders. I was proud of the way I was raised. I’m not proud of the abused though.

I’m not the proud one. I sometimes can be too proud to asked for help. That’s pretty much because of the way I was raised as a child. It was hard to asked for help because it showed a sign of weakness according to my parents. Admitting you need help is not a sign of weakness like my parents have drilled in my head growing up. I’m proud of anyone who does seek help when they need it. It doesn’t mean that you are weak. Remember, pride goes before a fall!

What are you proud of?

Do you ever wonder why it seems like God speaking in riddle? I may not have the answer to that question; but we’ll explore it together.

First of all, let us take a look at the Book of Job. In the Book of Job, God and Satan sat together discussing Job. Why would God sit and talk with the devil about His servant Job or anyone else in that matter?

Now Job was a Righteous man. Satan thought, if, Job was to lose everything he had would he still be faithful to God? Why would God even take the devil up on his offer to allow Satan to put Job through the hell?

You could say that the Book of Job is a riddle to those who doesn’t understand what God is thinking. It’s a book on trusting God, as Job was a prime example.

God promised Abraham to make him a father of all nation. Why would God asked Abraham to sacrificed his son, Isaac then?

Would any parents sacrifice their children? I don’t think so. It’s tough enough for any parents to have to bury their children. They expect their children to outlive them; so that they can take care of the parents in their old age. It doesn’t matter if the child is a baby, a child or even an adult, it’s difficult on the parents to have to bury their child.

Sometimes, God will used certain people to get our attention. I remembered back in the ’90’s when I was feeling sorry for myself. God used the Mormons (The Latter Day Saints) by having them knocked on my apartment door. That night, the Lord woke me up in the middle of the night and told me to get up and pray for your pastor. I pleaded with the Lord saying, “can’t I just lay in bed to pray?” The Lord wouldn’t let me sleep until I got up to pray. The Lord even told me to stop feeling sorry for myself and pray for my pastor.

Sometimes, God will tells you to pray for someone but won’t tell you why. The next time I saw my pastor, I asked what was going on then that the Lord asked me to get up to pray for my pastor. It may not be any certain reason but to get out attention.

Sometimes, the Lord will put us into a situation where we may be tempted. Why would God do that? Is He trying to help us overcome temptation? Is He sending a message to us? Like the Apostle Paul, when he talks about the thorn in his side. Paul asked several times for the Lord to remove that thorn with no avail. That thorn serves as a reminder at what God can do with us frailty and all.

Some people, the Lord will send to witness in a bar or get someone who is in a bar to help that person along. I heard of preachers going into a bar to pick up someone who needed help. Some people in the church would frown on that and forced the Pastor to resign because they were self-righteous in their thinking. They didn’t want to see that the Lord had the preacher go into the bar to witness.

The kind of relationships I had been involved in, would consist of me wanting to take care of someone. It was more of a toxic relationship, not a healthy one. Why would God do that? Why would He put me in a situation where I would be tempted?

Most recently, I was involved in such a relationship. There was a young man named Joey. He was 18 at the time; now he’s 19. He opened my eyes to people like him. He would dressed up in woman’s clothes and was gay. He came up to me first to get to know me. When he told me, his life story of being abused by his parents. I took pity on him and took him under my wings to be there for him. I ended up becoming attached to him in the process though.

Why would God put me in that situation?

Some people may wondered why Donald Trump has so many supporters especially with Christians. After the attempt on his life, there was a meme that looks like an angel was watching over Donald Trump preventing him from being assassinated. I mean, he is no saint by no mean. He’s not perfect.

Maybe the best way to explain why it seems that God favored Trump is to take a look at King David. King David was a man after God’s own heart. Yet, he had committed the sin of adultery with Batheba.

In other words, God will choose the most unlikely person to get our attention, no matter what the situation may be.

Whenever you know God is calling you to do something, be confident that He will guide the process, even if a successful outcome is hard to imagine. He will get you to where He wants you to go.

The theme to this for us is to trust and obey. We may not know the reason for what God want from us. It may seems that He is speaking in riddles to us and we may not understand the reason for it. We may even say, “Why me, Lord?”

In the case of the young man,Joey, that I mentioned earlier, I wouldn’t want to miss a thing. Even though, I had grown attached and had a fondness of him. It was an opportunity I’m glad that i didn’t passed up. If I would had passed up that opportunity, I would had missed any opportunity the Lord had for me.

Some may say that I shouldn’t had taken the time to get to know Joey. It will only leads to temptation. When God speaks to us, we should listen, trust and obey. We may not know the outcomes. In a noisy world, sometimes, God has to do whatever it takes to get our attention. From a loud voice, a whisper, or even speak in riddles.

We may not get the answers to what the Lord is trying to tell us to why it seems that He is speaking in riddles at that time. We can seek sound advice from someone we respect in the church or the pastor. Like when Samuel heard God’s voice speaking to him, at first he he thought that it was Eli calling out to him. Like Eli told Samuel, the next time you hear God’s voice speaking to you and you don’t know who it is; just say, “Speak Lord, for your servant is listening!”

We may not get the answer to why God is putting us in a certain situation here on earth at that time. We may have to wait until we get to heaven and see Jesus face to face. Then we can asked what God was saying to us at that time

Just trust and obey the Lord and He will see us through anything.

If this has spoken to you or if you had similar situation to what I shared, press like and/or leave a comment. God may be speaking to you and you may not even know it or even understand why you are put in a certain situation.

On this Memorial Day and weekend, I was wondering if anyone still put Memorial wreaths on the grave of a loved ones? It seems that the meaning of Memorial Day has lost it’s true meaning.

Memorial Day is a day to honor and remembered our veterans and loved ones who had passed away. Memorial Day weekend is now officially the start of summer.

I know that my parents and their generation would be the one to put Memorial wreaths on the graves of loved ones.

In this blog, I will be looking at a lasting gift and making memories. If you make a memories for loved ones left behind, they may be gone physically but not spirituality. The memories of loved ones will last forever. Even when they are gone, you can still feel their presence through their spirit.

You’ll never see a hearse pulling a U-haul. The reason is, you can’t take it with you when you’re gone.

In the ancient days, the Egyptians pharaohs would build pyramids for them and all their belongings. They believed that they could take it with them.

Instead you should spend the days of your life making memories in the lives of those you love beginning today.

As Woody Allen quoted, “80% of success in life is just showing up.” Spend time with your family and loved ones-for no reason at all but to be there. You will witness miracles you might otherwise miss forever.

By leaving a legacy, a memory behind that will be worth more than any inheritance you may received. Like in the song, “Cats in the Cradle,” a son came to his dad wanting attention, and the dad was too busy for his child. Then when the child grew up and in reverse, the father wanting to spend time with the son, the son was too busy to spend time with his father. In other words, if parents are too busy to spend time with their children, they will remembered that when they get older and when their parents are no longer with them.

A picture is worth a thousand memories but as the song by Brad Paisley, “Who needs pictures with a memory like mine.”

I remembered when my mother was alive, she hated going through her trunk because she said, it had too much memories that made her sad. After she passed away, I inherited the trunk and when I went through it I found a lot of junk; which meant nothing to me. Don’t get me wrong, I did find some important things in the trunk as well, either for me or someone else. I found my rosary when I was a baby in the Catholic Church; even though, I’m not Catholic anymore, I kept it because it was a gift given to me by my Aunt Millie, who was also my Godmother.

The best gift a parent can leave their child is spending time with them. You are making memories for them to have when they get old and you are no longer with them. Not just parents though, even friends or a special person in your life. There was a young man, who I took under my wings that meant so much to me. I cherished the memories I had made with him. I can at time feels his spirit with me.

Just like even though, my parents are gone, their spirit is with me. When I was in a car accident coming down from Mount Rainier, I believed that it was my mother’s spirit that was watching over me.

When you’re making memories, make sure they are good ones. I have good memories and I have bad memories. The good memories, I will cherish, and the bad memories I would rather forget. I have more memories with my step-dad than with my real father. I remembered one time, he carried me upstairs to my cousin’s room while we were on a family vacation, at my one Aunt’s home.

Then there are memories from my past involving abuse that I would rather forget but has a lasting effect on my life as well.

Making memories is a gift that will last a lifetime. It’s more valuable than any inheritance. Don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate the inheritance I had received. I cherished the memories more. As Bob Hope sang, “Thanks for the Memories.”

On this Memorial Day, cherished the memories of your loved ones. May you remembered them always. I cherished my memories I have of my parents and friends. If you have any memories and this blog speak to you, I hope that you will like this blog.

Memorial Day isn’t about putting wreaths on the grave or the beginning of summer. It’s about remembering those who are no longer with you for some reasons.

As Darth Rader said to Luke Skywalker, “Why don’t you come over to the dark side?

In this blog, I will be taking you to the dark side of Hollywood and show how television and movies had changed. In the ’50’s and ’60’s marriage couples slept in separate bed.

According to most television romantic comedies and dramas today, an unmarried couple sleeping together is a natural step in the growth of the relationship. The story line creates a strong emotional connection between the viewers and the characters, so we’re happy for the lovers when they finally get physically intimate. In most cases, the addition of sex to the relationship is depicted as a step forward. It doesn’t create more anxiety and complications for the characters; it’s normal, expected, and problem free.

The goal of dating should be friendship first. Then, when you’ve found your soul mate, comes marriage, and then sex. But this progression is often sabotaged for a few moments of pleasures. And unlike in television shows or in the movies, there are often long term consequences that come with this short term pleasures in real life. According with to George Bernard Shaw, “Not only are our adolescents not taught the physiology of sex, but they are never warned that the strongest sexual attraction may exist between persons so incompatible in tastes and capacities that they could not endure or take things to the next level.

The art of delayed gratification, especially in the area of sexual purity is well worth learning.

Sex is powerful and the depth of such intimacy can have a negative impact on a relationship if it happens too soon and before a permanent commitment. A relationship that might otherwise grow from a friendship into romance and then into marriage is often a commitment. Sex before marriage moves an act of commitment. The result is distorted.

According to 1 Corinthians 7:2, “Because there is so much sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman should have her own husband.” Now that is not the case according to Hollywood standard and today’s standard. Most people finds compatibility is through sexual gratification.

It all came about because of the sexual revolution of the ’60’s and ’70’s. When I was born in 1965, it was almost frowned upon for having a child out of wedlock. The church, especially the Catholic would consider a child born out of wedlock as being sin infested.

Now days though, it has become the norm. When I was in school, I had 3 of my classmates who gotten pregnant as teenager. One remained single and the other 2 married.

When my mother was pregnant with me, she did what wasn’t acceptable during that time, she gave birth to me and never married my real father. At the same time, 1972, my older step brother gotten his girlfriend pregnant and ended up marrying her because of what dad told him to do.

In the ’70’s on the TV shows, “Love Boat,” when a couple would entered their room, the door was closed and the viewers were never to see them getting it on. If the “Love Boat”was made today, that wouldn’t be the case.

Things that is acceptable today was frowned upon years ago on television and the movies. I mentioned the “Love Boat.” When Elvis performed on the “Ed Sullivan Show,” they only shown his top half because it was inappropriate to show Elvis shaking his waist on television. It was considered inappropriate for Barbara Eden to show her belly button on “I Dream of Jeannie.” They called “Charlie’s Angels” jiggly TV. On “The Dukes of Hazard,” the daisy duke shorts that was worn by Catherine Bach was frown upon. Even when it came to daytime soap operas, they left more to the imagination by showing less of the characters actually having sex. Now days, you see them jumping into bed all the time on TV and the movies.

It’s more normal now days and it didn’t matter if they are single and straight or if they are gay. Years ago, if any Hollywood stars were gay, they had to keep their sexuality a secret or be done in Hollywood.

At one time sex was considered to be dirty and should be kept in the household between a marriage couple. Now days, sex is more open.

What was kept behind closed doors were kept behind closed doors; even sexual abuse was taboo and kept a secret for years. When I was molested, I didn’t have anyone I could talked about it.

Now days being sexual and talking about sex is prevalent in our everyday conversations. It’s become the norm. You see it everywhere. Like in the video for the song, “Take Me to Church,” by Hozier; the video is dark. I like that song, but according to some so-called self-righteous Christians, they would tell me that it’s inappropriate to watch.

If you listen to some conversations, you would wondered where they heard all that sexual stuff.

Hollywood had slipped into the dark side. Many Hollywood stars, producers, directors, and casting directors have been link with Jefferey Epstein and P. Diddy. I could go more into that but that is another blog, exposing Hollywood.

There is no good wholesome television shows and movies being made these days. When it comes to movies and television, it seems Hollywood had went to the dark side. And not just with sex but also with this Woke stuff. Our Christian values went out the window in Hollywood.

It’s time for a reckoning of Hollywood dark side behavior. The new Catholic Pope, Pope Leo even recommend it as well. What do you think? Is it time for Hollywood and America to come back to the light after being in the dark side all this time? Are you dabbling in the dark side? It’s time to come to the light. There’s more to a relationship than sexual gratification. Relationships is not only about sex, it’s about getting to know a person on a one-to-one basis. Even I’m guilty of going to the dark side,so forgive me. I won’t go into that detail either because I think you get the message.

It’s time to leave the dark side behind and enter the light!!

To all the mothers out there, Happy Mother’s Day!! In this blog I will look at my tops TV mothers.

In the ’50’s when television first came out and TV shows were made, couples slept in separate beds. Just like you didn’t see a toilet in the bathroom or anyone going to the bathroom.

The first time you saw a married couple sharing the same bed was on the Brady Bunch. At the same time, you never saw a toilet in the bathroom. I brought up the Brady Bunch because Carol Brady is my pick for the Number 1 TV moms. She was played by Florence Henderson. She was a mother of 3 daughters marrying a man with 3 sons. It was a blended family.

Coming in at #2 is Claire Huxable on the Cosby Show. Claire was portrayed by Phylicia Rashad. It also starred legendary Bill Cosby. It was about an upper black working class family, in which she was a lawyer and he was a doctor. It was the #1 show during the ’80’s on NBC.

Coming in at #3 is Shirley Partridge on the Partridge Family. She was portrayed by Shirley Jones. She was a single mother due to being a widow. She gave up her job to be the lead singer in the family music business. What people don’t know was the fact that Shirley Jones almost played Carol Brady but turned it down. She is also the step mom of David Cassidy.

Now at #4 is June Lockhart from Lassie. When she was on Lassie, mother didn’t worked outside the home. They usually were seen wearing an apron and caring for her family. June Lockheart also appeared on General Hospital as Felicia’s mother.

At #5, you may be surprised to hear this but it happened to be Roseanne. Roseanne was played by Roseanne Barr. The show was about a blue collar working family; where both parents worked because they had too. She was very strong willed and took charge of the family instead of the husband. The show was more closely related to today’s time at least during the ’80’s. When they reboot the show it was a smash hit but they ended up firing Roseanne by cancelling her out for what she said.. When they did that and changed the show to the “Conners’, the show wasn’t the same.

We have a tie coming at #6 and #7. They are from Growing Pains and Family Ties. They are played by Joanna Kerns and Meridith Baxter. I put them at a tie because both shows were quite similar. Family Ties was on NBC and Growing Pains on ABC. Family Ties had Michael J. Fox and Growing Pains had Kirk Cameron. Between the 2 of them, one was smart and the other not so smart. In both shows, the parents were Liberals.

The #8 spot goes to Caroline Ingalls from Little House on the Prairie. It also starred Michael Landon and Mellisa Gilbert. Now Mellisa Gilbert has a sister, Sara Gilbert who was on Roseanne. They also have a brother, Jonathan Gilbert, who was also on Little House on the Prairie. He played Willie Olson. There was a scene in which Willie and Laura had to pretend to be boyfriend and girlfriend.

At #9 comes June Cleaver from Leave It To Beaver. A show from the ’50’s

At #10 went to Marion Ross from Happy Days. It was on in the ’70’s but based on the ’50’s. She played Ron Howard’s mother. She was a stay at home mother who also kept the Fonz in line as well.

These are my pick for the top 10 TV moms. Other picks are as followed as Peg Bundy from Marriage with Children. She didn’t work only because she chose not to. She was the best mother, housekeeper, and cook. The family went hungry because she didn’t do much cooking and cleaning. In that show, it actually showed Al Bundy going upstairs to the bathroom carrying a newspaper and then hearing the flushing of the toilet.

There was Edith Bunker from All in the Family. She was called a dingbat from Archie Bunker. There was Marge Simpson from the Simpson as well.

Some shows depict life as it was or as dreamed of. In the years that these shows were made, times were different. Some of these shows could be made in today’s time. If Hollywood did try to remake these shows, they would destroy the premise of it. They were good shows with good morals. They were good family oriented shows.

Now days it seems that Hollywood has gone off to the dark side. They have gone totally Woke. When they remade Roseanne and naming it The Connors after firing Roseanne, was proof how Hollywood had gone Woke.

I won’t go into detail on that until next week, when I will discuss how Hollywood had gone to the dark side.

Those TV mothers some were fantasy to children who watched and some were based on TV mothers in those times that it was made. They were good wholesome shows with moral values that seems to be lacking in the world today. Sometimes, you may be able to see your mother in those shows.

If I missed any TV mothers, feel free to add them in the comments below. I cannot name them all.

To all the mothers out there, you are more valuable than these TV mothers. You are treasured for looking after us even if we don’t truly appreciate you. My mothers is not around anymore, but I will cherished her memories. She did so much for me and my siblings. She loved her family. I missed my mother very much. If you missed your mother, you can also comment as well.

In the words from Charlie Sheen when he made an outburst, winning. In this blog, I will show how you can beat the system. The government and especially the Democrats will not like it. I will show you how to find the best help in a crazy, costly post-pandemic world. I will show you games people play to get ahead.

The games people play now, every night and every day now, never meaning what they say now, never saying what they mean. And they wile away the hours in their ivory towers till they’re covered up with flowers in the back of a black limousine. We make one another cry, break a heart then we say goodbye, cross our hearts and we hope to die that the other is to blame. Neither one will give in, so we gaze at our eight by ten, thinking ’bout things that might have been, and it’s a dirty rotten shame. People walking up to ya, singing glory Halleluijah, and they’re trying to sock it to you in the name of the Lord. They’re gonna teach you to meditate, read your horoscope, cheat your fate, and further more to hell with hate, come on and get on board. Look around tell me what you see, what’s happening to you and me, God grant me the serenity to just remember who I am. Cause you’ve given up your sanity for your pride and your vanity turn your back on humanity.

This is all a game to some just to win and beat the system.

When it comes to you getting what you want, it’s OK to shop. Like the song, “You better shop around.’ You can avoid the hospital and doctors if you focus on eating healthy and keep from putting poisons into your body. Avoid eating process food if you can and cooking healthy.

Have you noticed that it’s easier to get assistance for housing, food,and/or medical if you’re a single mother and getting pregnant by different “daddy”? Just like it’s easier to get the assistance if you’re an illegal immigrants as well. It seems that the Democrats would rather help the illegal immigrants than the American people and/or the Veterans who fought and served this country. That song, “Games people play” says it all. It was originally written and sung in the ’60’s and ’70’s; but is relevant today.

If you’re looking for the right paint or painter, make sure that they know what they are doing and is paying attention. I remembered when my mother was looking at getting paint for inside the house to paint. The sales clerk was too busy flirting with her to actually pay attention to what he was doing. He ended up selling her the brightest yellow of paint that was used in our dining room. It didn’t matter that she was married and had kids.

Just like when shopping for a car mechanic, you better know somethings about cars or the auto shop will take advantage of you and overcharge. It’s been known that the auto shop are more likely take advantage of a woman than a man when it comes to car repairs.

If you’re looking for ways to invest for retirement if you happened to come into extra money, Shop around and asked all the right questions. Make sure that they are legit. Will they help you achieve your goals and keep you calm? When I inherited some money, I was looking to invest for my retirement. I had more than one offer made and I had to choose the right one for me. I ended up choosing the ones with my bank, that way I kept everything close together.

If you can afford a good attorney, more power to you. Otherwise, a court-appointed attorney will not really help you. They are getting paid anyway so why bother going above and beyond.

If you are seeking counseling, I do not recommend seeing a social worker because they are not qualified counselor. Social workers are more apt to destroy family rather than help the individual. You need to feel comfortable with who you are seeing. If you’re not comfortable, keep looking.

President Trump and governors from the red states are looking into school choice and eliminating the Department of Education. It’s good for parents to know what the teachers are teaching their kids. Ever since the Pandemic, parents have found out just what is being taught their kids with Critical Race Theory. When the parents protest the school board they were labeled domestic terrorist by Joe Biden and those on the Left. I’m in favor of school choice. Parents should have the rights to choose what school their kids are being sent to and what they are teaching their kids.

I had gotten better education from Hawley’s school than I did from West Fargo’s school. West Fargo school did dirty to me. I was in the first grade, and put me in a class of older bigger kids without telling me it was a special class. Instead, they told me that they were moving me up in grades.

President Trump ran on the idea that you will not get tired of winning. This time around President Trump is beating the system by playing the Democrats and Rhino Republicans games. He is using their tactics against them. They cannot stand that fact either. He learned how to play the game and how to win by playing by their rules.

If you see someone who constantly winning, look at how they are beating the system and study it. Like the song by “You Win Again” by Hank Williams Sr., The news is out, all over town that you’ve been seen a running around I know that I should have leave but then I just can’t go,you win again.

It’s not cheating to know how to beat the system. You got to know how to play to game to win; otherwise, the system will win every time. They may not like for us to know how we can beat the system. Much like the Democrats and Rhino Republicans don’t like it that President Trump is beating them at their own game.

Like I said earlier, it’s a dirty rotten shame that we have to stoop to their level to win, just to beat the system. It’s a shame that everyone cannot play fair in life. You got to do what you can to win and beat the system. It’s winning at all costs!

Donald Trump said that you will be winning so much that you may get sick of it. This time around the American people is winning big. We are getting everything we voted for. Those on the Left are crying and fighting to keep us from winning so much.

Are you tired of winning yet? It’s all a matter of positive thinking and the beating the system at their own game. It’s all about shopping around and knowing the facts and who to believe and trust. Who do you feel comfortable with? I like the fact that the American people is winning time around. I like the fact that President Trump, Elon Musk, Trump’s cabinet members, and the Republicans are winning for the American people. I know I shouldn’t laugh at how crazy those crazy Liberals are acting on Youtube and Tick Tock, but I cannot help myself.

On the same line as Make America Great Again, I will talk about how we can put America first. I will look at the song, The Americans by Gordon Sinclair, a Canadian folk singer from the ’70’s. I’ll take a look at the lyrics and also look at the tariffs President Trump is using as a trade deal with other countries.

The Americans is a commentary by Canadian broadcaster Gordon Sinclair. It was originally written for a regular broadcast on CFRB radio in Toronto on June 5, 1973. It became a media and public phenomenon. It was replayed several times a day by some radio stations and released as a hit audio recording. Ronald Reagan credited it for giving comfort to the United States in difficult times. It can be used once again in the times we’re living in right now.

The song discussed some stories from the daily news such as heavy tornado damage and flood, The American Red Cross, the United States dollars, and the Vietnam War. Hopefully, you’ll see the similarity.

The United States dollar has taken another pounding on German, French, and British exchanges this morning. Hitting the lowest point ever known in West Germany. It has declined there by 41% since 1971. And this Canadian thinks it’s time to speak up for the Americans as the most generous and possibly the least appreciated people in the world.

Who helped control floods on the Nile, The Amazon, the Ganges, and the Niger. Today, the rich bottom land of the Mississippi is underwater. And no foreign land has sent a dollar to help. Who poured in billions of dollars and forgave other billions in debt. None of those countries.

When the franc was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who propped it up. When distant cities are hit by natural disasters, it’s the United States that hurries in to help.

The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy all pumped billions of dollars into discouraged count.

War-mongering Americans is what some called us. Yet I liked to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the erosion of the United States dollars build it own airplanes. Does any country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing jur jet?

When the Americans get out of this bind, as they will, who could blame them if they said to hell with the rest of world. Let somebody else buy the bonds. Let somebody else build or repair foreign dams. When the railways of France, Germany, and India were breaking down through age. It was the Americans who rebuilt them. When the Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose.

I can named to you 5000 times when the Americans raced to help the other people in trouble. Can you name to me even one time when someone raced to the help of the Americans in trouble? I don’t think so. The American Red Cross was told at it’s 48th annual meeting in New Orleans this morning that it was broke. This year disasters, with the year less than half over, have taken it all, and nobody, but nobody, has helped.

I remembered as I was growing up, my step-dad would say, “Whenever the Americans would destroy a country in times of war, they would go back and help them rebuild without even a thank you.” Maybe it’s time we say, “you rebuild yourself.”

It seems with the United Nations, the United States is expected to help other countries during their crises such as natural disasters and/or wars. Yet other countries are not willing to share the load. The United States had given the Ukraine more aid than the Europeans. Now that President Trump is saying no to money being sent to the Ukraine; those on the Left are crying about it.

Those on the Left is losing their mind over DOGE’s investigation of the missing money by Elon Musk and President Trump.

As President Trump started the TARIFFS as a trade deals with other countries, those on the Left are crying saying that it will hurt the economy. TARIFFS is a duty imposed by the national government, customs territory, or supranational union on imports of goods and is paid by the importer.

Before we had income tax, the United States used TARIFFS as part of their trade agreement. Even President Obama had used TARIFFS in his trade deals; yet those on the Left seems to had forgotten about it because of their hatred for Donald Trump.

It’s time we put America first. It’s time the American people buy made in America products. The only reasons things were made in other countries is because the high regulations put on them by the Democrats and the Federal Government. We have the supplies in this country, to be independent rather than dependent on foreign countries and terrorist. Stop buying things made in China! With us buying from China, we’re only helping build their economy and hurting ours. Stop buying oil from the Middle East, like Iran, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. By helping them, we are funding terrorism. Remembered, they hate America and they even chant, “Death to America.”

I know this may sounds selfish and unchristlike but sometimes we have to look out for ourselves rather than help other countries that are taking advantage of the United States.

Other countries used TARIFFS themselves as part of their trade deals especially with the United States. Their TARIFFS is higher than what President Trump had set in place. Other countries are caving in to President Trump’s TARIFFS There are countries that do not want to purchased food supplies from the United States because of all the chemicals we put into it. Yet, China is doing way worse than we are. They are actually poisoning us. The Pandemic should have been a wake up call for us.

Maybe it’s time the United States pull out of the United Nations, because all they do is take advantage of us and our generous nature. After a war, the United States should not go back into that country to rebuild but rather say, “You’re on your own.”

It’s time to buy American made products. It will create jobs and put America first. It can only be done with a Nationalist President not a Globalist. It’s time we say, “the heck with the rest of the world!” What do you think? Are you in favor of putting America first? Are you in favor of TARIFFS?

The illegal immigrants hate America but yet they are willing to come to this country illegally. America is a great country but right now we have some problems thus we need to make America great again. No other countries will look out for the United States. It’s up to us and us alone to look out for ourselves. Stop getting into other countries wars! Stop dealing with terrorists and our enemies! Not just Russia but China are our enemies. They both are out to destroy America and become top dog in the world. Yet those on the Left doesn’t see China as a threat like they see Russia.

We got people here in this country who needs help. The time is now to say, “The hell with the other countries and only help our own people. What do you think? I want to hear from you.

Do you know the many names of God? Do you know the many attributes of God?

In this blog, I will be discussing the book, “Our God is Awesome,” by Tony Evans. We will be encountering the greatness of our God. This will be my Easter blog. The Lord is risen!

As I mentioned before, The Lord is our Shepherd.

God is also known as Father. He is our father and we say that in the Lord’s prayer. Some people will call him “daddy.”

In the Catholic Church, a priest is called, “father” out of respect;; but I cannot do that because it puts a bad taste in my mouth. They are not a father, and some probably shouldn’t be.

We are all God’s children and He is our father. To those who was abandoned or abused by their earthly father, it can be hard to accept Him as our father. Yet to some, they are more likely to accept Him as father. They see Him as be very authoritative. They see God carrying a whip in one hand, ready to whip you if you don’t obey. They have a hard time in accepting authority figures. Maybe to some who never had a father or dad around or had been abused.

The first attribute we’ll discuss is God’s Sufficiency. We cannot put God in a box. From Dirty Dancing, “Nobody puts baby in a corner.” Well you cannot put God in a corner. God doesn’t need to be noticed. It is not God’s privilege that we get to worship, but our privilege. God doesn’t need us. We need Him. He doesn’t need our permission to do what He plans to do. God has a plan for our lives. We ought to jump out of bed to go to church on Sunday morning. There are many who would rather not get up to go to church for whatever reason. God doesn’t need to be defended. He can defend Himself. We can be compared to a rebellious teenager who doesn’t want mom and dad to rule over us.

There is a joke that dog is God spelled backward. A dog will watch over us much the same as with God.

The Holiness of God. God is holy! The word HOLY means separate. We get the words Saint and Sanctified from HOLY. As for example: you are standing on HOLY GROUND, take off your shoes. In other words, no one is perfect, only God. As my mother would say, “If I was perfect, I’d be in heaven instead of on earth.” We cannot look at the face of God because of sins. Like when Adam and Eve sinned, they were ashamed and naked. In the Greek mythology, Medusa was a monstrous winged female with snakes for hair and the power to turn anyone who looked at her to stone. We must stop playing church, stop playing Christianity. Most people hurry to get to work on time because they don’t want to upset the boss. Yet they come to church saying, “As long as I get there before the benediction, I’m on time.” I have seen people who arrived in church late after the chorus. God’s holiness means sin must be taken seriously and always will be judged. We may get mad but God doesn’t has bad days. If God had an outburst,we’d all be dead. God did not create hell for people. He created hell for the devil. Then why do people go there? They choose to follow the devil. You don’t build a house on a shaky foundation. Yet,there are some Christians who builds junky lives on such foundation. As Jesus said to Peter, “You are the rock, I shall build my church upon.”

If you are holding other people accountable to live up to your mental list of do’s and don’ts, tear it up and set them free. Look in the mirror at yourself before you judge others.

The Sovereignty of God. The God most of us serve resembles more the flickering of a candle than the burning of the noonday sun. We have allowed God to be everywhere but on His throne. Perhaps you have teenagers in your home; when they get to a certain age, they want to be free. The sovereignty of God means that He exercise His prerogative to do whatever He pleases with us. When you start making universes, creating planet, and giving life, then perhaps you can start dictating how God ought to run the universe. Yet there are some who play god in the name of science. They would clone in the name of science. They would say that the unborn baby is only a fetus. It’s a life! Now those on the Left are even dictating you are not male or female but rather a pronoun. The schools are confusing our kids with their sex. They are saying that it is OK for them to be called by their pronouns and/or even get a sex change operation without their parents permission. Let them be a child first. What they are doing is sexually abusing the child by doing that. If they choose to be who they are on their own that’s besides the point and let them be. God doesn’t create junk! If they choose on their own, then accept their decision but don’t make the decision for them. We have a choice. God has ordained us to be who we are. You know what ought to draw us to church on Sunday? The fact that the sovereign God wants to have a meeting with us. The sovereignty of God should lead us to enthusiastic worship Him. If we give our boss the honor due him for a paycheck, how much more should we give God. Let us honor and praise the Lord for His sovereignty. Is there anything going on in our world that might scare you out of your socks? Is there a “Nebuchadnezzar” in your family or circle of acquaintances who you know is heading for a collision?

The Glory of God. Glory is the process of manifesting, demonstrating one’s attributes, letting everyone in the stands see you strut your stuff; letting people in on who you are. Have you ever notice that when you go to a concert or ballgame, the people get more excited than the people who goes to church? It shouldn’t be the case but it is. Watched how people dress! Are they doing it to impress others? It doesn’t impress God and it shouldn’t impress us either. Do you want to transform yourself? If you want to be transformed, submit to God’s glory.

Omniscience of God. God’s omniscience is intuitive. God’s omniscience is comprehensive. Each Sunday, people all over the world will gather to worship God. God’s omniscience is personal. How many times do you pray before you sit down? Are you going through a fiery trial although you’ve done nothing to deserve it? Have you cried recently? God also also knows when we act as hypocrites, wearing our masks and playing church. Some folks are all painted up lovely on the outside, but if we could open their hearts, we’d find rottenness. Some so-call self-righteous Christians would judge people by their lifestyle choices, without knowing their story. They wouldn’t want to hang out with someone who is gay or an alcoholic. First of all, I have a cousin who is gay and there are some in the family who doesn’t want anything to do with him. Second, i recently met a young gentleman who is gay and likes to wear woman’s clothing. Some people wouldn’t accept him because of his choice. Some people would say that I shouldn’t hung out with him. But I have grown attached to him once I got to know his story. How can God elect only some to be saved?

God is the Great healer. Yet there are those who put their trust in science over God. I put my trust in God over science. if I ever get cancer, I will not get chemo. I’ve seen those who had gotten chemo and it’s not a pretty. Chemo does more harm to the body. I’m against the COVID vaccine. To me, it’s poison. If you’re sick, pray for healing. If it’s God’s will, He will heal you.

Most people are not comfortable with an omnipresent God. That’s why people like idols. Some love money so much they don’t have time for church or God. We don’t work to live, we live to work, but never content. When you are afraid, when the crime rate goes up, when you don’t know how you are going to make it, God is with you.

The omnipotence of God. All of us are concerned at one level or another with the issue of power. Do you know what true science is? It is the process of observing the consistency of God. Any doctor will tell you that the 2 cells which come together in a mother’s womb already carry the DNA code to determine the baby’s identity. Abortion destroys that which has been woven by God. The issue is not the freedom a woman has over her body, not even the “rights” of a mother or of her baby. Those considering abortion would say, “My body-my choice.” Much like those against the vaccine had said the same thing, “my body-my choice. Every parent understands this. We choose not to do somethings for our children, even though we have the ability. What is God’s will?

The wisdom of God. Some people may be book smart but not street smart. Wisdom is the ability to work with information in such a way that we accomplish the right purpose with the data in the right way.

The word of God is life. The words are inspired. The word of God is alive. The word of God is truth. We have chaos in our world because what people accept with math, yet they won’t accept morality or eternal issues. The devil loves to hear us rapping and talking, but doesn’t want to hear, “Satan, let’s do a little Bible study.” Success is getting to the end of your life having done what God wanted you to do. If you want success, don’t turn to the right or to the left away from God’s words. You must know, meditate on, do it. Bibles that are falling apart usually belong to people who aren’t.

God is Good!! God doesn’t create junk. He doesn’t create evil. When we look at the world, we cannot blame God for the evil in the world. Evil exist because we let Satan rules in our lives. People are good. They have good intentions but the devil can twist something good into something bad. We live in a contaminated world.

The wrath of God. What would you say about a father who failed to warn his children of impending danger? What would you say about a friend who saw you going down a dangerous road and done nothing to steer you right? What would you say about a pastor who told you about God’s love, forgiveness, and patience, but never warned you of His wrath? God’s wrath is subject that some pastors don’t want to talk about. As Dwight Thompson would say, “Some pastors would sugarcoat the truth because they do not want to offend anyone.” Many churches run from the subject. How could God be good if He looked the other way when faced with evil?

God is love! Everyone wants to be loved and accepted.

God is Grace. God’s grace is sufficient. God’s grace brings mercy and forgiveness. Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am saved.

The incarnation of God. God came down to earth as a little baby born of a virgin. He took on human quality to save us all.

Jesus Christ sacrifice Himself on the cross and rose again 3 days later. He died on the cross to forgive us of our sins. God is our father. We are joint heirs with Jesus. Now that you know the attributes of God, isn’t it time to welcome Him into your life and heart. If you have already done so, then find yourself a Bible preaching church and get to know more about your Lord and Savior. I want to hear from you. God loves you!!

To those who have gone through counseling with a real Christian counselor or in recovery, Psalm 23 is known as the recovery Psalm.

Let us dissect this Psalm and I’ll try not to get too preachy. First of all this Psalm and blog is a good one for Palm Sunday.

First of all this Psalm is only 6 verses.

In verse 1, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.” Now shepherd is another name for Jesus and God. A shepherd watches over the sheep and livestock. He protect them from all harm. We are like sheep, and have a tendency to go astray. We try to do things on our own, saying, “we don’t need God.” The world is a lot like that. We want to be self-reliant, not depending on anyone. We become impatient with God and so we have a tendency to do it ourselves. A saying I heard a lot growing up was, “If you want something done, do it yourself.” We have a tendency in not asking for help either on the job or in life in general. We’ll say, “I can handle it.” It saved a lot of headache. Then when we mess up, we get mad at ourselves and wondered why bad things are happening to us. When things are looking grim and we’re are heading into a disaster, we should say, “Jesus, take the wheel.” When we finally let go and let Jesus take the wheel, He’ll see us through it.

In verse 2, “He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters. For those who lived on a farm, they know all about lying down in green pastures. On our farm, there was a huge rock in the pasture near a slough. It was a quiet place to go and sit to relax; and meditate, getting one with nature. Just laying in the sun in the green pasture will do wonders for our spirit. The idea of being one with nature.

Have you ever been by or on a lake or any body of water? It’s very relaxing. It calms your spirit. One of the best thing about fishing is just being on the lake, when it’s nice and calm. When, a speed boat goes by making huge waves, it takes away the calmness and tranquil of the water. My step-dad hated it when those boats go by causing waves.

Every summer, I try to make it Lake Geneva near Alexandria,Minnesota in August around my birthday. Even though there’s a church retreat there, the real reason for the tranquility is being by the lake. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. That’s the best part of summer. Since going there since 2000, I now understand why a pastor would love going up to the mountain to be one with nature. A person can meditate and not worry about a thing. You can get away from the craziness of the world and big city. Anyone who still love the city life, haven’t discovered the tranquility of being one in nature by the lake or in the mountain. As crazy as the world is getting, I would say, “Just give me a cabin in the woods and I’ll be happy.” There are probably some who will disagree, but there are some who agree. I happened to know a young gentleman who happened to think like me, and would prefer a cabin in the woods as well.

In verse 3, “He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.” Once again, the shepherd (Jesus Christ) gives us guidance. Without Jesus guiding us, we have a tendency of going astray.

In verse 4, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”We’ll be like shadows in the moonlight. As the world is becoming scarier, this is comforting to know that our Lord and Savior is right there beside us. When you’re going out on your own, it can be scary. It’s good to know that you are not alone. You don’t have to go alone in life. Believe me, after being abused and molested, I felt very much alone. I felt that there wasn’t anyone out there who could help me. I was taught that men and/or boys must be tough and suck it up and deal with it. If you ever walked with someone holding hands in the dark, it’s very comforting.

A rod is used for discipline. A staff is used to whack wayward sheep back onto the safe path. The rod warded off predators and the staff was a guiding tool. Moses had a staff that God was able to used to help Moses persuade the Egyptian to let the people of Israel go.

In verse 5, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil;my cup overflows.” Who in their right mind like sitting at a table with their enemies? As a rule, you do all you can to avoid being anywhere near your enemies. If you have been molested, you try to avoid being alone with that person. Sometimes, though, it’s not easy to do. After I was molested as a child, I didn’t much wanted to be around my step-brother; which was impossible, being we shared a room together. When I was sick and he came to picked me up from school, believe me, I was scared to go anywhere with him;but once again, I couldn’t tell anyone. I have a confession here, when he got hit by a car while on his bike, I was hoping that he wouldn’t make it,then the abuse would stop.

In verse 6, “Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

This Psalm is a comfort for those going through any recovery no matter what it is. It’s good to know that you are not alone. You don’t have to go it alone. The Lord is our shepherd. It’s a comfort to have someone who can walks beside you and helped carry the load. As Joey had told me, the reasons wolves hangs out in packs, is because they looked out for one another.

If you are going through some form of recovery, no matter what it is, read Psalm 23 and seek help immediately either from a good counselor, a friend who will stand by you or a pastor. At the same time, be sure that you can trust that individual so that you don’t get hurt by them as well. The most important, tell it to Jesus. He already knows our pain anyway.

If you can, find a place to get away and alone with Jesus. You may not be able to get a cabin in the woods, or by a lake, or in the pasture, just find a place of comfort and someone who you are comfortable with. The most importance is to seek help; so that it doesn’t fester up. When things fester up, it could become infected.

If this blog is speaking to you and you find yourself in need of help, please seek help immediately. There’s help out there. Call the Hotline, a pastor of a church, a counselor, or a good friend. You can even push the like and add your comment. If you’re a Christian, you can tell it to Jesus.
